One of our most anticipated films of 2010 (no, not that one) is Jay and Mark Duplass‘ comedy Cyrus, starring John C. Reilly, Jonah Hill and Marisa Tomei.

Reilly plays a divorcee who meets the woman of his dreams (Tomei), and discovers that her son (Hill) may have emerged straight from his nightmares.

The pic debuted at Sundance back in January and opens in the U.S. this weekend (where it’s receiving pretty solid reviews).

I’m a big fan of the Duplass’ previous film Baghead, as well as much of the mumblecore movement with which they are credited for helping foster. Also, who doesn’t love Reilly, Hill and Tomei? Awful people, that’s who.

You can take a look at the U.S. trailer here. Cyrus, also starring Catherine Keener, does not yet have an Australian release date.
