  • Good movie, clever story.

  • Very clever movie with some real mind bending moments and good gun-play. Time travel films often leave you wanting, but not this one. Willis makes some really good movie choices and this is one of them.

  • A superb movie, well executed, told with an economy, yet a richness. I can see why some people found the plot and concepts a bit obscure, but in fact, seen right through, it is quite a complete story. Leaving aside the violence, there is a good sense of tension and menace created about both the loopers and the "vagrants" as well as the degeneration of society generally. The interaction and second-guessing between the two Joes is a level above the average movie and the portrayal of "what did happen / what will happen" for Joe in China is actually beautiful and poignant. I think the scenes deleted from this part should have been left in as they give a fuller explanation about Old Joe's perspective and motivation. For an action movie that makes you think, I found it excellent. However, if you don't want to think too much it may feel disjointed for the first half. The annoying thing for me was always: how did they communicate the timing of the "packages"? I am sure this was explained in the books, but it was not in the movie and that may add to the confusion for some viewers. For me, overall it delivered above my expectations.

  • Not for everyone. Pushes the boundary as to what is acceptable in our society. Very violent.

  • Couldn't finish watching it, too violent
