  • Visually fascinating and full of quirks and an almost stop-motion-like jerkiness to some scenes. Perhaps I just don't respond to the sedate, deadpan Wes Anderson tone of the acting but I struggled not to fast forward certain parts. It's the sort of movie you'd love to screencap and make your computer wallpaper but plot-wise, just not quite my style.

  • No, did not like it at all. Waste of my time and money. Had to fast forward most of it.

  • This gentle, quirky movie is a delight. Wes Anderson never fails to bring us something different! Once you get into the rhythm of it, sit back and enjoy the tongue in cheek humour with perfect deadpan performances from Bruce Willis, Bill Murray and Tilda Swinton. It's subtle and thoroughly enjoyable. HIghly recommended.

  • I only watched this movie because it is directed by Wes Anderson and has Bruce Willis in it along with a host of other well known actors and actresses. I was pleasantly surprised by this movie. It was funny, engaging and yes weird. It did take some getting used to so don't turn it off after like 10mins that doesn't give the movie justice. It has some hilarious moments, the kind that it happens and 2 seconds later it hits you and you laugh. I enjoyed this movie and if you like Wes Anderson movies you'll love this.

  • We watched this just after being at a Scout Camp! Got better as it went along. Some good performances...
