In an effort to escape her murky past and build a better future, Olive (Milla Jovovich), a nomadic con-artist and her 10 year old son, Bobby, find themselves living in Oklahoma. Olive enrols Bobby in school, makes him do his homework and tries her hardest to be a good mother and with the help of an old friend, Walt (Rory Cochrane), Olive "provides" for Bobby in the only way she knows how.

But despite her efforts (or perhaps because of them), Bobby displays troubling behaviour both at his school and in their conservative neighbourhood. Things take a turn for the worse when Bobby has a run-in with local businessman Kent (Bill Pullman) and Olive's criminal past finally catches up with her, forcing her to make the toughest decision of all.

  • DIFFERENT,BUT DISSAPOINTING ENDING

  • Very slow ok, ending not that good

  • This was a disappointing movie. It was only one of the few which I couldn`t watch to the end. The acting & plot were poor.

  • Disappointing film overall. Plot very basic and predictable. Would not recommend, though a good performance from the boy in the film.

  • Lame. I watched to the end hoping there would be something that would make it interesting, but not to be. There was nothing entertaining about this movie. It wasn't serious - funny - sad - NOTHING.
