Retired CIA operative Paul Shepherdson is co-opted to pair up with a young FBI agent to solve the murder of a US senator that could involve the societ cold war assassin 'Cassius'. Convinced that 'Cassius' has long been dead after having spent his career tracking down the killer, Shepherdson unwillingly takes the case after his former supervisor, Tom Highland, challenges him to prove his theory is correct against recent evidence that says otherwise. Meanwhile Agent Geary, who has intensively studied Cassius' history, also believes that Cassius has re-emerged and has resumed his killing spree.

  • My copy also had a glitchy spot, for about 5 minutes.

  • good film, twist not seen at the end

  • From promising, to boring and back again. Intriguing, to predictable, then finally turned it off. Gere is usually better than this wanna be spy movie.

  • Pretty worthy espionage thriller

  • A bit predictable in parts, but also some great twists and turns at the end. Well made and entertaining, but your expectations should be for a hollywood movie, go elsewhere if you are after the classic British style espionage/double agent tension written into a complex storyline.
