Conflicting fates collide in this dark psychological thriller when an unstable woman plots an evening to remember where the invited guests of her soiree are not guaranteed to leave the table alive. Tensions mount as the true nature of the gathering becomes frighteningly clear to those at the table and what should have been a pleasant evening all round becomes a struggle to both understand and ultimately survive the ordeal.

  • Possibly the least thrilling thriller I've ever seen in my life. Honestly this is a plot idea that could've been done so well, a dinner party that ends in murder would've been awesome... heck, the cover for the DVD is more thrilling than the movie, why couldn't I have gotten something like that? The cover suggests a simple 2 person movie where the main actors are possibly given the choice between murder or suicide, the cover would've made an interesting movie... the movie is not even close to interesting. The fact that this is an aussie film is irrelevant, we've made great horror thrillers before (The Loved Ones is the best example) so it's possible to do it... this isn't a great horror thriller, this is a student film that somehow got a mainstream DVD release. I'd of given this no stars, but then my vote wouldn't have counted and this might get a rating over 2. It's not even a 1 star film. I found all of the Friday the 13th sequels to be scarier than this, and that series ended up in space... a place I would love to send every copy of this talent forsaken film. Seriously I'm going to just put on Friday the 13th now just so I can have a scare done right!

  • One of the few movies set in Canberra, the city, rather than the political centre. Apart from a regrettable cameo from the Magnet Mart Man, some stellar performances create a dire, brutal assessment of life in the presence of the everyday psychological problems besetting the leading lady, and the impact on those around her.

  • not a well made or played movie. wouldnt suggest to watch.

  • First of all i was dissapointed to find out this was an Australian movie, lets face it the track record for the Aussies isnt so great, look at all the hype for Animal Kingdom !!, it wasnt that good. Well after 10 minutes and the realisation that i was just subjected to 10 minues of the worst acting in recent memory and a production budget that resembled $50 coles/myer gift card, i hit the eject button and then actaully cleaned the lens inside the dvd player i felt that sorry for it. I would rather eat Ghost Chilli Extract than suffer those 600 seconds.

  • This is the first review I've written but I had to warn people how awful this is. Don't borrow it!
