  • a great travel documentary

  • Just ok, but overall disappointing

  • A wonderful easy to watch movie of a father and son interacting and finding their way back to each other after the death of the wife and mother.

  • A lovely trip that works magic on a strained father-son relationship.

  • Nothing epic about this movie, which is a low-key movie about a father (Charlie) and son (Boots) who have been estranged. Gracie (Charlie's wife) dies, and Boots finds his father sinking into despair. Boots decides on a moment's notice to take Charlie on the fishing trip he was promised as a kid, to the northernmost tip of Australia (from southern Victoria). This is the story of their trip and the people they meet along the way. I enjoyed this one.
