Paris 2010. An isolation wall surrounds the ghetto cities. Without effective law reinforcement, within these walls, gang rule is absolute. Damien is a member of an elite police squadron, a special unit highly trained in martial arts and the precise physical skills necessary to navigate the treacherous urban landscape of Paris future. He is now given the most vital and dangerous task of his career: to retrieve a loose nuke stolen by the most powerful gang of Barrio 13. Leto, a vigilante criminal whose only goal is to save his sister form the clutches of the same gang, knows Barrio 13 like the back of his hand. Assigned to infiltrate the sector and defuse the bomb, Damien must convince Leto to join his cause. Yet everything is not quite as it seems. Who exactly works for whom. Who is really pulling the strings. Above all, who profits from the use of this bomb.

  • Excellent action movie. Try to imagine a combination of the Bourne movies; the Transporter and the Bond movies and you have close to what this movie is all about. It is dubbed in english as well. Our hero, Damian, teams up with Leto, a resident of District 13. Action all the way, from start to finish. There is a follow up to this movie too - District 13: Ultimatum' which I have watched before this one. Highly recommended for all action movie fans.

  • Great action. Hollywood needs to learn from these French parkour stunt-team guys. They're unbelievable to watch. Story? Who needs one?

  • Solid and entertaining French action flick. Story was pretty reasonable and the acting credible enough. If you don't like subtitles don't watch foreign films, personally I have no problem with them and it far preferable to listening to English dub. But suitably for an action film, it's the action that stands out. It's a fantastic showcase for Parkour and an antidote for Hollywood over styled action films. I like them too but, but for this feels more like an old Jackie Chan movie. Stripped back, precise and pure. I found myself rewinding a few scenes just to watch the Parkour moves again.

  • One of the best action movies I saw in years.

  • Stupid action film. Quite insulting.
