  • Didn't start promisingly but improved as it went on. I am ambivalent about the animation style which is like watching a computer game. The story line reminded me a bit of The Forbidden Planet. 3.5 stars

  • As the oldest surviving work of fiction, penned in what would later evolve into the English language I was curious about this film. Towards the conclusion I was imagining it as a story much older, evoking such romanictism is one of this movies strengths.

  • I found this Film rather overblown and turgid. the story was a strange mix , that I don't think the makers brought of. I didn't mide the photography, but the whole cartoon like overlay was a rather distracting. On the whole not one of my favorate Films.

  • Keep trying to write a review for this but can't get it to save. I give up.

  • An excellent movie, looks real but animated or whatever you call it, anyhow it's a good story or tale and keeps you interested and not fall asleep.
