After the continuous sleep walking episodes of Sharon, the young daughter of Rose Da Silva, the decision is made to take Sharon to the place only mentioned in her restless dreams - Silent Hill. However, the road to Silent Hill is anything but easy to access, and Rose creates a high speed chase between herself and a police officer only to end in a crash for them both. When she wakes up, Sharon has disappeared and Rose is at the entrance to the deserted, dream-like town of Silent Hill. As Rose begins the search for her daughter, she does not realise the terror and mystery surrounding her. Rose is led on a blind search for her beloved daughter, finding herself getting more and more entwined into the disturbing past of Silent Hill.

  • I heard this movie was worth the watch and I believe it is. Basic story line but I got so into it that I found myself yelling at my TV.

  • I've never heard of the game this is based on - not as creepy as stated by other reviewers but it's not the worst horror movie I've ever seen either.

  • What was this movie about?

  • ok I THINK THIS MOVIE WAS OK have seen worse have seen better I can follow this one not like have no story line and make no sence.

  • This has to be one of the worst horror movies I have seen in a long time. Would give it negative star ratings were that possible. This film is overly fixated on creating computer generated special effects at the expense of good script writing. The story is lame, implausible and characters spend most of the movie running around dark corridors calling out each others name. I can't believe that Sean Bean agreed to actually be in this movie.
