Hotshot attorney Kevin Lomax's 64-0 case record has brought him a tempting offer from an elite New York firm. But the job Lomax accepts isn't what it seems. The Devil is in the details. In this gleeful, modern gothic fable, Keanu Reeves plays eager Lomax and Al Pacino is the charismatic firm founder who knows there are cases to be won...and souls to be lost. From Lomax's court triumphs and skyrocket rise to its double-twist ending, "The Devil's Advocate" is red-hot entertainment. Lomax's life, wife (Charlize Theron) and soul are on the line. He's landed a job that's Heaven on Earth...which can lead him straight to Hell.

  • Enjoyable enough but the ending is a copout. Perhaps it is just a little too dated. Reeves' acting looks even more wooden than normal next to Pacino doing a super-hammy take on the devil. Theron is fantastic - acts the men off the screen.

  • Great movie, very great take on the devil type of movie.

  • Really good movie love it

  • Good v Evil, and as such I wish it had ended five minutes earlier. Well thought out and well presented.

  • Quite strange. It never really pays off either. Pacino goes overboard as usual (there! I said it!) Keanu is OK and Charlize is good, but the ending is a wash out and ruins what the filmmakers have been building for the last two hours. But it's still watchable.
