It was going to be the perfect crime. After four devilishly conceived and successful kidnappings, Joe (KEVIN BACON; Hollow Man, Stir of Echoes), and Cheryl Hickey (COURTNEY LOVE, The People Vs Larry Flynt) next set their sights on the Jennings; a quietly successful family with a young daughter, Abby (DAKOTA FANNING, I am Sam). After kidnapping her, they turn their twisted gaze on her parents, Karen (CHARLIZE THERON, Sweet November, The Cider House Rules) and Will (STUART TOWNSEND, Queen of the Damned). Although isolated by their captors - Karen by Joe, and Will by Cheryl - the bond between them and the love for their daughter are about to deliver more than the kidnappers ever imagined. Even though their lives have been shattered and with an unspeakable outcome threatening them, Karen and Will Jennings are about to discover the terrifying lengths to which they will go to get their daughter back.

  • I really enjoy a good thriller and any thriller movie with Kevin Bacon in it with him as the bad guy would have to be good as he sure can play a creepy guy. This was a good movie and I liked it.

  • I was hoping to see the good guys cleverly outwitting the bad guys. Instead it was your usual over the top dramatic ending, where the guys in white hats walk away with a scratch or two, and the guys in black hats get what they deserve. You're meant to marvel at the miraculous survival of the good guys, and overlook their utter stupidity for setting a disaster in motion, which should have killed or maimed at least one or two of them, as well as countless innocent people.

  • Fast paced, particularly towards the ending. I was surprised with Courtney Love - she wasn't as bad as I expected.

  • Not a bad movie.Kevin Bacon (as usual) plays a creepy bad guy. Well acted by all of the cast.

  • You will love this fast paced take your breath away thriller. Kevin Bacon excellent bad guy (god I jated him ), Charlize fantastic (as usual ), Dakota brilliant not to forget Courtney Love & Stuart Townsend great perfomance.
