  • A wonderful movie based on a real life character. Geoffrey Rush is wonderful in this, do watch the extras after the movie as he explains how he prepared for the role.

  • another great Australian movie

  • Moving and brilliantly acted film about nervous collapse, parental control and musical genius.

  • Wow! I was not expecting to enjoy this movie but got it because i love Geffrey Rush. It's a masterpiece! Superb acting, great storyline, perfect balance of emotive content. Totally going out to buy it!

  • I have meet the divine David & can say that Mr Rush's depiction of him is EXACT. A beautiful movie leaving you with feelings of anger (at his abusive father) yet laughter at his innocence to life. A wonderful true story about a true genius & gifted man that said in my company when I realized who it was ........."humility Helen humility".
