This is one of the worst movies I have ever seen (and the very worst movie remake). The movie is a near verbatim copy of the original, but with the addition of extremely wooden, corny acting. Whoever cast and directed this movie were way off. The actors lack all of the emotion and class of those in the original movie.

Where the original movie was slow, but ultimately very gripping and emotional, this latest release is very painful, lacking any character engagement, and feeling completely lifeless. If you've seen the original you'll be laughing in disgust throughout, and if not you'll be dead bored. Ultimately nothing to offer here. I only wish I could recover the precious minutes I wasted watching this poor excuse for a film.

Like most songs, not nearly as good as the original. A ridiculous concept for 2 reasons - 1/Christianity is not prevelent in society any more and 2/ The original is virtually floorless. This movie had no chance - I sort of expected it would be poor and only had a look out of curiosity.
