A young couple (Patrick Wilson and Kerry Washington) has just moved into their California dream home when they become the target of their next door neighbour, who disapproves of their relationship. A stern, single father, this tightly wound LAPD officer (Samuel L. Jackson) has appointed himself the watchdog of the neighbourhood. His nightly foot patrols and overly watchful eyes bring comfort to some, but he becomes increasingly aggressive to the newlyweds. Nice thriller with a freaky Jackson in it. Good acting, nice pace. I would have sold back the house right away if it was me. Nice one. Longtime I haven't seen a good thriller made in Hollywood so yes it's a nice surprise. Nothing over the top for once, great.

Certainly not the best thriller I've ever seen but definitley above average. Samual L Jackson is brilliant as the creepy disturbed neighbour. There are plenty of tense, nail biting moments, although the ending disappointed. But hey, that's Hollywood.
Overall though, worth adding to your queue.

Sam Jackson is great playing someone with a loud mouth.
