Oldboy director Park Chan-wook will make his English language debut with the upcoming Stoker, starring Nicole Kidman, but he doesn’t seem to be keen on returning to his native Korean tongue anytime soon.
According to Variety, Park will direct crime drama Corsica 72, from Skyfall screenwriters Neal Purvis and Robert Wade.
The picture concerns two best friends who take vastly different paths in life; “one as an honest working man, the other as a gangster.”
Purvis and Wade’s Corsica 72 script ranked highly on the 2009 Brit List.
