Funny in parts, but too slapstick for my taste.

I thoroughly enjoyed it because it's not your typical sentimental, soppy, American love story. It still manages to be very uplifting and touching and I loved the English humour. It's done in a similar vein to '4 weddings & a funeral' and 'bridget jones'.
