this disk on way but have seen enough of franchise now to 'pre-comment', so going on already seen this is 'likeable' in that it's original theme gives it merit. Writers try to keep storyline moving along at resonably constant rate so makes for enjoyable entertainment for sci fi fans.............. not one of my all time fav. sci fi franchises although

i am enjoying the original series more than i actually thought i would.......... not ever being a big fan of 'pensioner', but this franchise has its merits and i can see why it was popular in its time. Overall an ok watch some under/overacting issues but quite watchable. Recomended for nostalgia buffs

arnie 'swollenknacker' made the original what it was........ & he alone, hense, without him this title is just...............ummmmmmmmm 'boring formula' title. i am now totally 'over' this genre, they cannot (& shouldn't try) to improve on original just to 'bleed the stone' for whatever blood is left. i normally don't do us propaganda rubbish but this title had merit, hense 3 star rating. More realistic 'as to/why' politics enter into world domination by 'democratic 'FREE' society'??!! namely the us of a............ so overall this is right versus wrong and why wrong always tends to prevail in the U S. i love us franchise but here i tend to agree with pro. reviews. shallow characters, acting, script.......... basically whole thing. i believe this franchise has now been way 'over done' & should be ceased now........... before more damage to the credability of the first 3 instalments reaches new heights and becomes 'unrepairable'. ......... probably 'don't bother' if you're a fan, disappointment will probably ensue

firstly, be it known, i love kill bill 1 & 2. So normally a spoof take off of one of my favs. would instantly turn me off the spoof, but i laughed sooooo hard from the second this started to the second this finished that it deserves my 5 star rating. funny as hell......... recomended viewing (for adults)

i enjoyed this title for 2 reasons, one it's good to see someone 'stick it' to the romans whilst they were 'all-powerful', & two for historical value (& politics of course). it appears humankind has always had 'issues' with each other over material things (i want what you've got), so we will invade you attitude..........., but then, 'ok so we better invade you first', attitude........... interesting!!! to see 2100 year old version

i usually find this genre to be rather boring due to the script restraints. Generally the titles are all very similar, but refreshingly enough i found this one to be a true psycho shocker is the true sense of the phrase. Very good performances from the cast especially leonardo - brilliant. Well worth the watch............. (but put your intellect hats on for this one, it's worth 'absorbing')

i waited (as i did for 'alien, predator, & alien vs. predator' franchise instalments) about 6 months to watch this extremely anticipated controversial title. It did not disappoint but i do not understand how it can be stated they are making room at the end for a sequel when this is a 'prequel'?? If this is prequel to 'alien' we have already seen the sequels (all 4 of them)????........... i mean, sure, there may be room for a sequel here, but it may not make much sense........ and be 'over-worked/marketed

once again one has to appreciate foreign traits & customs to recognise good movie making. I personally find thai movies (although brutal & generally rather bloodthirsty) very interesting in that their culture is always striving for good to defeat evil, much like chinese titles for example. Of course good does always prevail in the end but as always it was the long, extremely difficult & dangerous road to get there that is so interesting. recomended

i admit i have a 'soft spot' for chinese titles. i am engrosed and amazed at their loyalty to their culture (emperor, country). This title once more opitimises this cultural windfall. It was also different in the way it portrayed the characters and the way in which they were motivated by their actions. This was both interesting and different. I thoroughly enjoyed this and for those who like this genre, recomended viewing

i believe this is another 'korean' title?! i have seen a few of these titles now, they are all extremely graphic, very violent (sexually) and rather bloodthirsty. Seems to be a 'trend' coming out of that country........ culture shock genre i call it ok watch if you're into that type of genre but not for the squeamish

One of Australia’s best bands of all time, extremely talented musicians. Great live performances. Only criticism I have ever had about the oils is that they incorporated 'politics' into their song writing. Shame really, in my world there is no room for politics/religion in the entertainment world. I personally believe they could have been even bigger in this country of ours without the politics. I already had '82 concert, great to see '85 'by the water' concert.

i found this a tad 'overrated'. i think moviemakers were trying to succeed off the back of 'harry potter'....... maybe. it is an ok watch, but that's it........ nothing special at all i thought. in fact, there were many 'build ups' just to be 'let downs', nothingness basically. Overall could have been presented much better in my book. If you're expecting harry potter, this it is not

i love everything about david bowie, as far as i am concerned he is one, (if not 'the') most prollific artist of our time. I mean the man is a walking/talking 'brilliance' machine. Anyway, all that said, this title went straight over my head, i predicted right from the onset that i would probably have to watch this 3 or 4 times to fully 'comprehend/appreciate' exactly what was intended to the viewer, and by the end, yes, i was right. It is good viewing, interesting plot etc.............. but 'bloody weird'........ & yes i still enjoyed it all the same. i have seen some 'incredible' titles over the years, this is just another made during the 'spacey' mid 70's

this is a very interesting title, unfortunately i had this sent to me twice, both times copy is faulty. Same place, same problem. Cover states running time 90 mins. Running time is actually about 105 mins. interesting, the fault is at 92 mins each time?? i tried to get into the last 15 mins. without sound and although it's in russian (& subtitled anyway), i still couldn't properly make out the end which rendered title'disappointing'

worth the watch........ different (and typical of the time) ie. germans experimenting with weird & wonderful (to them) inventive new ways to try and win the war. It is a known fact that they are the best engineers in the world, (mechanically perfection precision etc. it was also recognised that the german scientists were the best in the world (at the time) so this title may of had some kind of substance to it?? who knows!! anything was a possibility to them (so they thought) master race; all that stuff :)

I quite enjoyed this ' German vampiress unless we want to eat after sex' flick. Actually rather intriguing & different. Then comes a cop trying to catch 'pick-pocket' vampess, but falls for aforementioned, even more so when she finally confronts him with the truth of her 'being', which drives her to no longer want to be 'a vampire'. Happy ending (of course) all round, (after all the blood-letting). All in all I figure it's worth watching, good entertainment done only as Europe could.

As i have met banditos involded in this in real life and having been told to read the book (while i was there), i felt that the movie relayed events as they occured as realistic as possible. this alone attracted a high rating. always been a big fan of the 'tomie' franchise. I believe this is the 4th?? as i have seen 3 others. This title as with previous instalments was not a letdown. It delivered what was expected................ good down to earth japanese horror.......... ( i call this 'innocent blood-letting), as it seems to initiate alot of blood & violence, but not from person upon person, more like 'thing' upon human type thing. i think that is what attracts me to these titles, the shock and horror within the scenes from the characters and what is happening around them is terrifying enough to everyone within the movie, it is enough to scare the audience as well. Recomended viewing (with strong stomach)

i normally do not do 'making of's' but this was surprisingly refreshing (and i thought worth the watch as much as the installments themselves) hilariously funny in places total 'crackup'. Did not get boring in the least until maybe 15 minutes to go but nearly 4 hours of 'behind the scenes' is a lot in anyone's book. well presented, everyone is so wrapped up in freddie (even freddie is :) interesting also to see how 'quiet achievers' actually 'make it'. i enjoyed this doco/series/movie type version of the much done 'titanic'. i found the different scenerios/ versions of the same time frame/story rather a fascinating way of portraying the end product, well thought out. i particulary liked the 'authentic footage' in disk 3, that was really 'refreshing' & interesting to me. Overall a very good enjoyable watch, i would recomend this to anyone who is looking for the titanic saga from ' a different point of view'

ok viewing. I was pretty disappointed (but expected to be). Movie makers could not possibly improve on jc's '84 classic. (can't improve on perfection). i found this not to be a 'remake', but moreso a 'bad copy with updated technological support'. Still can't compete though. If anyone wants to see this title in all it's glory look for john carpenters 1984 version. That's easily a five star rating

this is my first look at 'gantz', so not knowing previous series, comics etc. i was a little baffled at times trying to keep up with what the intention was, but, having said that, this is very well done, good effects, different interesting story so hence very welcomed, ignoring 'foreign attribute' (english subtitles), still easy to keep track of the story. in the 60's we had star trek & the outer limits, both a must see no matter what & both were extremely addictive. Today we have 'ben 10' in this category, although ben 10 can at times become 'boring' due to 'overzealous marketers' which is commonplace in the 21st century, this still is extremely addictive........

i am not sure exactly how or what to review/rate this title. I did enjoy it if for no other reason, Jody Foster alone. One of my all time favourite actors, anything she is in is great viewing in my eyes. This title came as a bit of a surprise, looked like Jody's first (or one of her first) movies she made. this is brilliant. i am not a vocalist but i know a few being part of the industry in the past. Every 'muso' has an idol, normally considered best in the world. All idols are basically overseas except vocalists idol, (which happens to be our very own home grown, very grass roots john farnham, we are so extremely lucky to have such talent emerge from home here as one of the greatest vocalists in the entire world of all time. I cannot emphasize enough. Anyone who loves quality contempory music will fall in love with this. Wish i could give more stars

WOW, this is unbelievable. At last, something for my /grey matter' to bite into. My only regret (if i may use that word loosely), is that i didn't receive the first installment first.
