A classic! I loved this movie as a child, and still remember all the songs. Now my daughter loves it too. One of the special feachers is an additional short cartoon included in this disc - Disney's version of the chapter on "Pooh-sticks" ...about what happens to Eeyore. It's charming! I'd never seen it before, and it's gorgeous.

Really well-done. Storytelling that just holds you captivated; Australian scenery that's breathtaking; we really enjoyed it. David is very believable, soon forgot he was Harry Potter.

Fun, imaginative stuff. Gorgeous kids and fairy creatures; we like fantasy, so this was some nice escapism.

Feel good movie, some excellent Aussie acting. Believable, even likeable down-and-out characters.

Well made, well acted, well presented. Very sad and dark. Stays with you a long time, and makes you think about more ways that war is horrific...and how it affected so many different kinds of people. Strong, believable characters. I gave it two stars because of how it left me feeling. This is much more sad and violent a movie than I usually like, but if that doesn't bother you much, it is an excellent movie.

This movie just swept me away - it was easy to suspend disbelief. It was easy to feel for the characters, to wonder and to listen to the story. It was well-told, well-made, a beautiful movie.

This is one of those series that seems to get better as it goes on. The acting and the characters are good and keep getting more likeable, The dialogue is witty and quick and, though sometimes a little bit cheesy, makes for some great laughs. It's just a whole lot of fun!

My two-year-old absolutely loves this video! She was pretty sad when we sent it back. She learned a lot from it, and really enjoyed all the various characters, story lines and music. It's really fun and well done. If you're a fan of Sesame street, it's a gem!

Ok for the kids. Cute and sweet - the children actors were great!

I just LOVE these shows. What a fun way to learn about different cultures and recipes at the same time.

This one is pretty sad. It's really well-done and a very captivating way to learn about history, if you happen to be a bit behind on your knowledge

Too French in story-telling style. We just couldn't get into it. Didn't really give it a chance I guess, didn't even get halfway through.

If you are Italian-Australian, this guy would probably be really funny. Since we're not bilingual, it was just disappointing. His jokes start out in English, but the punchlines are all in Italian. From the way the crowd was reacting, I'm guessing that if you grew up in an Italian family, you'd probably find this hilarious!

The acting was great. Good thinking movie. Fun to watch a suspense/crime drama without much violence.

Sweet and very honest. Good dialogue, lyrics and singing. Don't think I'd need to own it or see it again, but would reccomend it, very watch-able.

we chickened out after about 15 minutes and didn't actually watch this. Looks like it could be really good...but just was way too dark and somber for our taste at the moment.

Only one episode on this disc! We're left hanging at the end of it too...waiting in suspense for the next disc!

This seems to be a made-for-TV/ Daytime drama movie, but with a beautifully British setting. It's a bit cliche - complete with characters that pull on your heart strings and a never-ending background of piano, acustic guitar, and violin music (to make it all just a bit more tender!) If you like that sort of thing, this is a sweet story with some reasonably good acting. If not, you might find it too slow and sappy to watch. As for me, I quite liked Billy Boyd, and I got a bit bored with the rest.

Hilarious!! The first part is a bit religiously offensive...but it's not too bad, and if you can get through that, it just gets better and better. This guy is sooo funny! (beware that you might find yourself swearing a bit more often after watching it! Somehow his swearing is so funny, it's kindof infectious! And there's a lot of it.)

Alright acting. The script was written for another era though. A bit slow.

This movie was absolute rubbish. People being horrible to each other is not comedy, nor is enslaving someone romantic. Don't waste your time with this one.

Really enjoyed it. Beautiful story of friendship, love, faith, and what really matters in life. Done in a light-hearted way, but with a bit of depth under the surface. Edward Norton is great, and Ben Stiller is a different character than in most of his movies. Jenna is beautiful and fantastic. We really enjoyed it!

Well, we were a bit disappointed. It was mildly funny, and easy to watch, but these big name comedians were just not nearly as funny as we'd expected. Kind of the same jokes repeated too many times throughout...often groan-worthy. The storyline seemed to be a cross between City Slickers and Without a Paddle, (but with motercycles) but wasn't nearly as funny or clever as either of those movies. (Without a Paddle was dumb too, but we found it funnier and the characters more likeable.)

We were quite impressed with this telling of the story. Beautiful, real, human. The actors did a really good job, and it was just put together so much better than I expected. A lot of historical research obviously went into the making of this, as well as feeling and motivation to tell the true meaning of Christmas. Was great to watch it on Christmas Eve.

Clever and unique. A bit uncomfortable now and then, but in a good way. Not something I'd watch again, but glad I saw it once.

We only got through half of this movie. SOO SLOW! Beautiful visual effects, but that was about it. The plot didn't seem to be going anywhere good, and the characters weren't developing. Couldn't get into it.

So far, we're hooked. The medical mysteries...the thinking...the intriguing characters. And the House character- he's such an incredible actor. Great writing.

Brilliant show. The end of the last episode on this disc is beautiful. We have so much fun watching this together.

Pretty funny. Very male, British sense of humour. Easy to watch, not too offensive. We thought it got a bit old after awhile. Nothing special, but a fun way to relax of an evening.

Visually beautiful, yes. The soundtrack was great. I thought Kirstin Dunst looked stunning, and her acting was really pretty good. But it could've been about an hour shorter. It just dragged on and on...with very little plot development.

Fantastic end to a magnificent series. So well done. Claudia Black is so good in this season. All the actors have gotten even better over time. Sad to see it's over. Maybe there will be another movie?

Such an original story. Well-written, great acting. We found it refreshingly unique, intriguing, and easy-to-watch.

We found this movie a little weird and hard to accept at first, but then we realised something. If you're going to watch this film, you have to keep in mind that it's a really Eastern story-telling style. The story is sometimes told in a windy, circular order, not in a linear order. Logical explanations for events are not so important. What are important are all the connections between history and myth and the present day, and also values like courage, honour, and love. When we set aside our Western expectations and were able to suspend belief for a few hours, we found that it was really an interesting and enjoyable film.

Fantastic acting. I thought it was a very well-told story, and it was one that I'm glad I saw - once. Too disturbing for me to see ever again. Beware if you don't like disturbing - it's sad and Very upsetting.

Well-made, girls growing up movie. Definately a chick flick, really enjoyed it.

Well-performed period drama. Interesting moral questions, thought-provoking. Beautiful costuming and setting. The actresses - Helen Hunt and Scarlette Johannson were especially impressive.

This was just an excellent movie. My husband is a pilot, and I reckon he'd give it 5 stars. Likeable characters, engaging story, great old planes, based on a true story. Bits of sadness, but lots of hope too.

Have to be in the right mood for this one. Beautifully filmed, Cate is fantastic.The story is good, but very slow and the whole atmosphere of it is sad. A good rainy day flick.

A really unique genre - a narrative documentary. beautiful. very slow moving in many ways, but even if you have to watch some bits in fast motion, it's worth it to watch it to the end.

I rented this because I like Claire Danes. But even with her, the movie wasn't worth it. We really tried to enjoy it. It was mostly unresolved sexual issues, and the plot was a mess. It didn't flow and it was hard to enjoy.

It was absoltely beautifully made -- the scenery and the acting were both intriguing. after awhile it got incredibly slow and sad. very moving.
