More great episodes, with guest stars like Adam West (Batman) for example. The episodes are in colour on the disc, but I'm sure were broadcast in B/W.

Great episodes, Paul Lind makes his first appearence on the show as Harold Harold a nervous driving instructor trying to teach Sam to drive. I dont know if these episodes have been colourised or not. They're in colour on the disc, but in the special feature segment they're in black & white. Overall, a great trip down memory lane.!

This series has to be the best by far.!!!! The entire cast & writers have stuck gold. A laugh a minute.!

A friend put me on to this as I never watched the series when it was on TV, I was a little shell shocked at first coming into a new show from the 2nd series, but I got used to the characters pretty quick. It's a bit irreverent but I suppose this was 10 years ago.

Any body who was watching Hoges on TV in the late seventies will get a real kick out of this. It's a bit of a time capsule of the late 70s with send ups of commercials & lampooning of TV icons like Don Lane & Rolf Harris. All the old faves are here too, Perc the wino, Hoges & Strop, Luigi the unbelievable, Nigel & a bevy of beautiful babes.! Love Hoges send up of the phantom.. A+ .

Ah Bewitched, a great sit-com. Love all the "relos" too" Well worth witching, sorry, watching for those who missed it first time round.

It's been a long time since I watched this on TV in the eighties, but I soon remembered this show. Of course I didn't forget'Twiki'(the robot) he steals the show with his one liners. (voiced by Mel Blanc) & Felix Silla is in the costume. He played cousin itt in the addams family.!! a good way to pass an hour or two if yr a 'retro TV' fan like me.

Good ol Starsky & Hutch, even after all this time it's still a good way to pass a few hours watching their adventures.

After 40 years 'the saint' is still worth watching. I was too young when the show first screened, but now I can watch it & enjoy.

1st episode without Tyr,(since he left the show to join The Young and the Restless). I liked Harpers comment about Tyr's "young and restless life."

This second season of the Brittas empire is better than the first. The actors & writers are on the top of their game. Again we have outstanding performances by Chris Barrie & Co.

Disc 1 is the special features disc of the 2 Drs. It's V.interesting to see how they scouted for locations in Spain for the episode. Other features are just as interesting.

I liked the classic comedy on this DVD & the interview of G.K. but the 1st IMT episode from the new studio in GTV9 way back in 1964 is a bit hard to sit through. Maybe because it's so dated & full of live commercials for Melbourne businesses that we Sydneysiders don't know anything about.
Other than that, there should have been a lot more classic moments on the disc & less IMT.

The first 4 episodes of the 2nd series of Acropolis Now are well worth watching as the characters are developed more. As always, audio commentary is worth listening to, to find out some great trivia.

The 5th Dr Who (Peter Davison) is up against his old nemisis the Daleks in this story. The special features on the DVD include an audio commentary & a small 'making of' this episode. For Dr Who fans, this story marks Tegans exit from the show.
(Excellent) - review by Tim
This is a very funny movie. Don't worry about the French, you can easily follow whats happening.(there are subtitles)

I have recently re-discovered Acropolis Now on DVD. I did watch it when it was first on TV back in the 90's but sometimes you miss an episode & it's great to catch up this way. I enjoyed it & the audio commentary on selected episodes was very interesting. I hope series 3 comes to DVD in the near future.
