A Pixar Classic. Nothing more to be said.

Much better than "Happy Feet", an interesting semi-mockumentary story that has a few good laughs and relatable characters, if not a few questionable stereotypes.

One of Miyazaki's weaker offerings, with the same tired theme of nature's harmony in question and a storyline that feels rambling and incomplete.

A touching and ultimately heart-breaking animated film that dares not to sugar-coat a story of hope in the face of hopelessness. Based off the book of the same name, but unique in that the movie actually dares to offer a more depressing ending than the novel. Worth the watch, but only once.

A good beer movie; it helps to be drunk in order to release your inner child that just wants some fun without thinking too much.

Thank god that's over. Good, but not great, it wraps up a series that was definitely getting long in the tooth.

Markely weaker than the first installment, with poor pacing, forced dialogue, and a lack of real spontenaity or a decent climax.

This movie is crass, loud, and full of itself... and that's what makes it work so brilliantly. A unique take on the superhero genre with brilliant performances by all involved (and a movie Nicholas Cage didn't kill by being cast in it), it's worth a watch or three. Once the kids are fast asleep, of course.

You can see they have lost steam in the series with this installment. Weak storytelling, an obviously pared-back budget for scenes and characters, and a far too in-you-face religious propoganda monologue at the end by Aslan make this the weakest movie in the series to date.

There are some movies that have enough remakes already. To then do a remake of such a movie that is as awful as this? Why? Heartless, tasteless, and Jack Black just can't stop shoving his pathetic Rocker persona into every film he does.
(Don't bother!) - review by Miguel
A travesty of a movie that has some nice visuals but that's about it. Crass humour and little heart.

Pixar's weakest offering - up until Cars 2 was released and stole the Worst Pixar Movie crown. Lacking the usual heart of previous or later offerings from the studio, but good for the kids.

Quirky revisioning of the old west that has a few too many characteristic hallmarks of the producer showing through that have already been seen, ad-nauseum, in previous efforts. Worth a watch, once.

Good but not great and rather predictable, it still has enough heart to make it worth the watch, with plenty of slapstick to keep the low-brows entertained.

A markedly weaker sequel to the original, which was okay at best; the blatant merchandising characterisation ruined much of the film that had potential.

Definitely one of Dreamworks' best offerings in regards to animation; leaps and bounds above the dreck of the Shrek sequels and Kung Fu Panda. Well paced, great humour, plenty of heart, a movie for the whole family.

Another brilliant movie by Pixar, just falling short of "UP" in heart and creativity. Excellent in just about every regard.

Probably Pixar's best movie to date. Full of real emotion and brilliant characterisation for the adults, and enough slapstick stupidity to keep the oblivious kids entertained. A must-have for any collection.

The first Pixar movie I can honestly say I don't like, at all. A weak and hackneyed plot cannot save a movie that is visually spectacular; Pixar forgot the heart, a mistake I hope they never make again.

A nice retelling of a classic fairytale. Great for all the family.
