Good fun and a great watch with the family.

Every soldier has a tale to tell. Some do, most don't. If you're an Ammunition Techician Officer you will shudder at some of these scenes. Some soldiers, and some of the more intrepid high risk sports people out there, will understand the need to experience the jaz (adrenaline) rush that surviving near death brings.

A review in five words or less. Stunning. Spectacular, Heartwarming, Heartrendering. Loveable.

An interesting and enjoyable movie. Blends lots of graphic violence, blood and gore into a romantic setting with some truly demonic and evil bad guys (the Americans, not so much the Asian assassins who are, after all, just trying to end a 500 year blood fued). Using some traditional asian (or certainly Chinese) martial arts methods and cinematography makes this movie more of a 'blokes' movie more than a 'chicks flick'. However, the inclusion of a young baby girl adds to the flavour of the movie and softents in marginally so that it could be considered to be a 'shared' movie. This movie is in English as it caters more for the Western market.

As a bloke I loved this movie: shared it with my wife. I loved that the feature of this film was a young girl finding her way in life: there are few movies that have a strong female lead. There is a lot of fun in this movie and it is great for kids and parents to share. I admit here, to the whole wide world, that some parts of this movie brought tears to my eyes. Maybe I am just a 'softee', but, the able storytellers bring such poignancy to the moment that you would have to be almost heartless not to feel something.

An interesting movie, loosely based on Siamese (Thai) history. Historical detail and costumes are good: but, not a 100% accurate. A little bit difficult to follow at times yet well worth the effort to watch. I, personally, was not too happy with how the movie finished: I think it could have been tidied up a bit better (I don't want to give too much away so I will not add anything further). Worth watching just for the opportunity to see how people lived during these times.

Great story, brilliant colours and good music. This was fun and very enjoyable to watch and it is a very well told story. I will buy this and add it to my collection.

An interesting film with some intriguing twists and turns. Worth a watch on a slow night with a cuddle bunny

Ip Man 2 is a great sequal. Some people will not like the fact that there is no English (or any other) voiceover and this means that they will miss a great movie. If, like me, you prefer to see the play of emotion and voice in harmony with the character and you prefer to see and feel the actors giving vent to their passion and force of feeling for their character, then you will not miss the voiceover. Voiceovers are out of sync' with the action, emotions and events happening on the screen. Besides, if necessary, I can pause or rewind to catch some nuance that I missed.

Worth watching. However, film-makers sometimes try to fit too many sub-plots into a movie: they forget that this type of movie is pitched towards children and adults like me who just want to watch something that is fun and pure escapism. Kung Fu Panda 2 is intrinsically a good fun movie that has been corrupted by jingoists trying to push just one more parable or lesson down our throats. Overall, I enjoyed the movie, although I had to pause it at times to explain what was going on.

A treat to watch, even without it being in English. A well told story with good action and a romantic element that is an integral part of the film.
