I enjoyed this film. It showed the hysteria of these outbreaks and how it is dealt with 'behind the scenes' really well. Also demonstrated how easily these viruses can start...watch till the end...and wash your hands!!!

Quirky and unusual is the way I would describe this 'movie within a movie'. I enjoyed it, it had some good laughs - it was quite dark and different and definitely not a run of the mill type movie. If you are after something a bit left of centre this is your film!

This movie was an absolute hoot. I loved it. Really enjoyed the considering different 'escape' routes when he was in a sticky situation on the bike. Don't think about it too much...just enjoy the ride!

I didn't get this movie for a long time as I had some pre conceived idea about it being some piece of happy 'fluff' - how wrong could I have been!! It was an incredibly emotionally charged, beautiful and shocking, in parts, movie. Well worth the view and highly recommended. I loved it.

Thought this plodded along quite nicely - certainly not the best horror flick out of the 80's and not many true 'scares' - it was an ok, average watch on a Saturday afternoon.
(Worth watching) - review by Jo
Not much on the 'horror' scale in my opinion but the suspense was good and it was a good storyline. Enjoyed it.

Don't go in expecting loads of leather, whips and gimp masks and you probably won't be disappointed....even the blurb on this site makes it seem like there will be loads of that 'action' and whilst there is a bit it probably takes up 10 - 15 minutes in total of the whole movie. I actually found the story quite intriguing and sad of a girl looking for revenge - whilst certainly not brilliant by any stretch it was an ok watch.

As some other reviewers stated this movie is very Tarantino-esque and they do say that copying is the greatest form of flattery, guess for those that cannot come up with their own original ideas. That said this movie had all the quirks and strangeness that one would expect from a movie that you would compare to a Tarantino film...no where near as good as any of his films but was watchable and pretty enjoyable....and short! Worth a view if after something a bit different that you won't take to seriously.

Thought this was ok. Hard to understand the dialogue at times - seemed muffled and quiet. Possibly my enjoyment factor was a bit ruined by the fact the disc got stuck right at a 'revealing' moment toward the end of the film. Fell a bit short of what I was expecting but overall was a good Friday night flick.

Really enjoyed this movie - lovely message. Our kids were a bit afraid in parts but overall it was really enjoyable.

I had put off seeing this because of all of they hype surrouding it and to be honest I had no clue what it was about (generally not into 'historical' things). I was pleasantly surprised. Was a well acted, beautiful moving that flowed along quite nicely. Glad I finally watched it - well worth a view.

Really engaging and intriguing film. A bit disjointed in places but still good to watch. Quite sad and emotional. Really different role for Samuel L Jackson and Naomi Watts' character was hard to work out and watch at times. Good movie and well worth your consideration if you are after something a bit different and full of emotion.

The kids thoroughly enjoyed it and laughed out loud in places (they are 5 and 3) - I really enjoyed it too - just no brainer good fun!!

Pure over the top escapism - a film not meant to be taken too seriously. Really enjoyed it.

Majestic, beautiful movie - my sons simply adored it and ended up watching it 3 times! Owls are just so lovely and in this movie are terribly wise - great message and just a great film. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

I saw this movie at the cinema with a girlfriend when it first came out and loved it. My husband was keen to see it also so after a pretty long wait it was sent to us. Totally enchanting and enthralling film the 2 hours just seem to glide past. A A nice, enjoyable movie - well worth your time.

I thought this was a nice film, certainly not brilliant (in my opinion) by any stretch but it was sad and thoughtful and something incredibly different for Matt Damon. I liked it.
(Excellent) - review by Jo
I thought this movie was very cool - slightly unbelievable (guess as most of these films are) - loads of gun shooting, testosterone fuelled violence and mindless 'fun'. Thoroughly enjoyed it and Samuel L Jackson is just a joy to watch as always.
(Excellent) - review by Jo
So not what I was expecting. Very violent in an almost comical sort of way (highly stylised). A bit disturbing but really quite entertaining in a twisted kind of way. Something different and a good watch in my opinion.

I really enjoyed this movie and ended up having a lot of sympathy for Ben Affleck's character. Being in the situations the boys found themselves in with no other options and just become what is around them (nature/nuture??) was really interesting and sad to watch. Well done and highly enjoyable.

Was very intrigued by this movie right from the start. A lot of red herrings thrown in and kept us guessing right the way through. Good ending - thoroughly enjoyable.
(Excellent) - review by Jo
Cute, lacked any real substance but was an enjoyable view none the less.
(Worth watching) - review by Jo
Take this movie for what it is on face value - beautiful people being eaten by ugly creatures - expect much more and you will be disappointed. Thought it was ridiculous but hilarious. Only thing that let it down was a silly ending...the 'hero' cannot die..or can he??? It's 'gore horror' with T and A - don't take it seriously.

Not sure if the remake of Clash of the Titans is any good (have not seen it as love the original way too much!!) however if Wrath of the Titans is anything to go by I would guess not. All a bit boring for me not enough mythology - it did have some good effects but not enough to make the movie really interesting.
Really enjoyed this. Asher playing Ita was absolutely on the money - highly entertaining.
(Excellent) - review by Jo
Quite liked this, entertaining.

A bit cheesey and not to the 'traditional' story line (although what remake has been these days). Seriously did not get the bollywood song at the end - up till then quite entertaining.
(Worth watching) - review by Jo
Gorgeous film - made me think about what service men and women go through in the line of duty, what they must see and think and how having someone, anyone from home to remind them of what they are doing being 'worth it' - even if that person is not someone they even know. Loved it.
(Excellent) - review by Jo
Perhaps a bit too intellectual for me.....if you are after a "thinker" of a film this is for you..otherwise give it a miss
Highly amusing movie - watched by myself, my husband and our 5 and 2 year old boys. They laughed in places too (not necessarily in same places we did there is definitely 'adult humour' as well as kid humour in this). Whilst probably not in the same realms as Shrek (that had loads more characters and it was the 'original' concept I guess) it was still really, really good. My boys wanted to watch it again - will have to buy it!
(Not to be missed!) - review by Jo
Thoroughly enjoyable with a lovely subtle message behind it - that the kids may or may not get - we all really enjoyed it.
(Excellent) - review by Jo
Thought this remake was really good - suspense was brilliant - ending however for me was a massive disappointment. Other than that the lead girl carried the movie very well and what a gorgeous house! If only all babysitting jobs were like that...without the creepy dude on the phone of course. Well worth a view - enjoyed it!
(Worth watching) - review by Jo
Thought the story was ok, not as scary or gory as I was expecting. It is a tad lame but that was the theme with horror made in the 80's/90's - sometimes they did the lame well...sometimes not so well - this one was ok, watchable - I quite enjoyed the ending....
What a lovely film. Very sensitive subject matter handled really well. Tear jerker for me - enjoyed it immensely - well worth a view.
(Excellent) - review by Jo
I quite liked the premise of this movie but I think it was executed averagely. Overall though it was ok and watchable.
I must admit I knew nothing about this movie when I added it to my queue and clearly had one too 'many' when I did so. I watched it totally sober and from the moment it began I could tell it was very tongue in cheek and seemed a bit 'thunder bird - esque' to me (with the toy trains for real trains etc) It pokes fun at terrorism, the GFC and hollywood in general. It is certainly D grade - apparently this is a sequel - don't take it too seriously - it still is not worthy of many stars but taken on 'face value' it was actually ok.
This film is one that is not meant to be taken too seriously (in my opinion) had some genuine laugh out loud moments and some very cringe worthy ones - not a brilliant movie by any stretch - but if you can take it for what it is - an over the top comedy with a bit of 'toilet humour' thrown in - it is fun and funny!
(Worth watching) - review by Jo
Entertaining film - good twists - Liam Neeson as always is very enjoyable to watch - the ending did fall a bit flat for me but overall I liked it.
(Worth watching) - review by Jo
Brilliant...absolutely loved it. Watched it with my 5 year old & 2.5 year old boys - who were captivated right through out. Cute, colouful and funny - with a good message. As my five year old said "that was a really nice movie, mum" - Good one for the adults too - I thought it was great.
(Not to be missed!) - review by Jo
I was a bit disappointed with this movie. I couldn't get past the fact that the kid playing the son had brown eyes!! (found it very distracting...) Strange when the parents and the donor all have blue - I was thinking it was some sort of genetic throw back that would get cleverly explained within the film - didn't happen - would have been so much better if that was some sort of twist in the movie (over thinking it maybe...ha!...) Was ok and nice enough - if you like Jason Bateman (as I do) The Change Up is way better.
For me this was very much Deliverance meets Wolf Creek. Awful ending (as in what happens to the people not because it was awfully done) Stuck with me well after I had watched it - creepy, disturbing and very well done. Really good Aussie movie - hope Tasmanians don't take it to heart! Remember it is only a movie!!

OMG...this is 83 minutes of my life that will never return. Exorcist this is not and given the subject matter it could have been SOOOO much more interesting especially being done 'doco' style. Dull, uninteresting, drivel - don't bother - would give it no stars if I could.
(Don't bother!) - review by Jo
I loved this...great action, no brainer or much thinking involved fillm. I use to play Battleship a lot as a kid (both the electronic and non electronic version) so I thought it was really cool seeing the 'grid' in the movie - before sending off the missiles. Very well done and well worth a watch.
(Excellent) - review by Jo
I enjoyed this movie - was nice to watch and I think the story line flowed easily.
(Worth watching) - review by Jo
I was falling asleep through this movie (not because of the movie) and what I did see of it was interesting. It is not a new concept for a film (anyone remember Turkey Shoot?) but it is a tad disturbing because it involves children (be they teenager or younger) I thought it was ok.
(Worth watching) - review by Jo
Brilliant - absolutely loved it had me enthralled from beginning to end - this one is a must see!
(Not to be missed!) - review by Jo
This was similar to the other three (formula wise) - crass, a tad lame and a bit over the top with the behaviour - still funny and worth a watch - enjoyed it - great Friday night 'don't have to think too much' movie.
(Worth watching) - review by Jo
For some reason I was expecting more and I think it could have been more. It was ok, nothing brilliant in my opinion - but of course we all view movies differently! Given the subject matter I think it lacked 'oomph'.
(Worth watching) - review by Jo
This was fun - not to be taken too seriously and I don't think really to be compared to the TV version of Jump Street (which I adored!) Great cameo appearances by Johnny Depp and Peter Deluise - enjoy the ride - we did
(Worth watching) - review by Jo
I enjoyed this - good espionage flick with a bit of confusion (I found) but all in all pretty good viewing.
(Worth watching) - review by Jo
Charming and lovely - just an enjoyable film requiring not much effort - certainly not brilliant but enjoyable none the less. We all tend to have the questions of 'What is my life all about' and this is done from the aussie, male perspective. I liked it.
(Worth watching) - review by Jo
Good movie - very sad that it is based on reality - all I could think is 'poor kids' - even though sad I enjoyed it.
(Worth watching) - review by Jo
This movie started out so intriguing and interesting and kept me guessing as to where it was going to go. It all ended a bit strangely leaving some of the questions I had unanswered (why all the random killings..?) Samuel L Jackson is so enjoyable to watch with his menacing looks and mesmerising tone and he made the movie worth watching till the end - which I am glad I did even though I did sort of go "oh..is that it?" when it was over.
(Worth watching) - review by Jo
I really enjoyed this - typical Bruce Willis action flick - I viewed the alternate ending and am glad they changed it because the alternate would have left it all a bit flat. Good, enjoyable movie.
(Worth watching) - review by Jo
Don't know that the premise of this film would go so smoothly in real life (friends planning an orgy together) - don't over think it...it did have some good laugh out loud moments and whilst certainly not brilliant was a good movie.
(Worth watching) - review by Jo
Just a really nice, light, fluffy, enjoyable movie.

Couldn't really follow the point or purpose of this movie. Very sadly lacking in a back ground story - which I think would have improved it somewhat. Requires alot of your own interpretation as to why they do what they do (ie all the sex). My husband summed it up nicely I think "interesting but weird" - if you like something a bit more arty this is your film - give it a miss otherwise.
I found this a bit confusing to start however then it got interesting and had some good twists and turns in the plot. Not a brilliant film by any stretch but good and entertaining enough to sit the whole way through.
(Worth watching) - review by Jo
Complete rubbish...don't bother - very violent and gruesome - to be expected of this type of genre - however absolutely no back story - why is she doing all this and worse still getting away with it? Better off to try the suggested 'if you like this try these' and skip Neighbour altogether - would give minus stars if I could - reluctantly have to give it one because review won't save otherwise!
(Don't bother!) - review by Jo
Nice movie - not great but not really bad either (in my opinion) was an enjoyable Friday night movie for us - don't go into it expecting too much and you won't be disappointed. Credit roll with bloopers / set ups was funny.
(Worth watching) - review by Jo
I thoroughly enjoyed this movie from beginning to end - awesome stunts, enjoyable dialogue - laugh out loud stuff in some places - I just loved it. Yippee-ki-yay (you know the rest).
(Excellent) - review by Jo
Interesting, sad film - given the subject matter it did lack a bit of substance for me but I am glad I watched it.

I loved the movie from beginning to end. Gorgeous dog, wonderful story just brilliant entertainment. Loved it.

Thought this movie was ok, not fantastic, but interesting. Didn't realise the creator of Facebook was not a very nice person - however guess the rich don't get rich for being nice.
I found this movie to be quite powerful and enjoyable. I didn't like some of the scenes with the elephant because I am such an admirer of the elephant - beautiful, majestic creature - those scenes actually made me bawl - but rest of it really good. Glad I watched it.
(Excellent) - review by Jo
For me this movie felt like modern day Gladitor (aka Russell Crowe) via the internet. Another review here has given away the plot (so don't read below if you don't want to know) because I think if you can stomach the violence - the twist is actually quite well done. It also illustrates how desensitized we all are these days to violence - hence showing everyone watching the action reality TV style. Samuel L Jackson - the definition of cool in my opinion. Frustrating at times but still worth a view.

Words that come to mind for this movie - cute, silly, fun. Not terribly original but overall I thought it was good fun with some laughs.
(Worth watching) - review by Jo
For some reason I was expecting a bit more substance from this film - maybe because of the lead actors - not sure but overall was just a 'nice', 'fluffy' movie - not bad but certainly not brilliant.
For me this movie was a bit Mad Max meets Dexter - a good revenge flick, not to be taken too seriously.
(Worth watching) - review by Jo
As I started to watch this film I thought it would be one of those frustrating 'the small guy doesn't get what he wants' type movie but it wasn't - it was crazy, silly...fun!!! Worth a look.
(Worth watching) - review by Jo
Interesting movie - took me a while to get into - it wasn't fantastic but not terrible either - an in the "middle of the road" type of film that is good 'weekend' waster movie

Loved it - funny and just well done. Enjoyable film.

Witty, enjoyable - just plain fun. Really enjoyed it.

For me this movie was incredibly S L O W at about the 59 minute mark it picked up a bit as we started to meet the Transformers - to be honest though I did not watch to the end. Too slow, drawn out and a tad boring for my liking. Real Steel this is not.
(Don't bother!) - review by Jo
Bit 'arty farty' for my liking - with various camera shots and angles obviously trying to illustrate something - but to me just came off annoying. Subject matter slightly confronting and was interesting for the aspect of what friends will do when they have a 'pact' - I watched it to the end but at the end I said "that was just weird' - will float some people's boats I am sure - but not mine.
(Don't bother!) - review by Jo
Slow to get started - once the gratuitous violence kicked in - gained my interest a little more. However found it all a bit dull, strange, an almost complete waste of time - though not quite. I was disappointed at the lack of 'driving' - had an assumption there would be a bit more of it given the title - judging by some of the reviews here maybe it is a bit more of a 'thinkers' movie and I just didn't get it. It was OK.
OMG! Completely frickin awesome!! A 'non thinkers' movie - ginormous brilliant fighting robots and Hugh Jackman...what more could you want? Watch it!! I loved it.
(Not to be missed!) - review by Jo
Enjoyable but was expecting it to tug at the heart strings a bit more. Worth watching none the less.
(Worth watching) - review by Jo
Classic film - still very funny, great 'coming of age' story with all the awkwardness that teenagers have to face. Simply funny!
(Excellent) - review by Jo
I had no clue what to expect of this movie - I really enjoyed it - thought the way the story was told was interesting and held my interest. If you are homophobic perhaps not a movie for you because some of the images are pretty full on. Different role for Jim Carrey and I thought he did it well. Worth a view.
(Worth watching) - review by Jo
Not as funny as I remember - still worth a look
I really enjoyed this - kept me interested all the way through. I picked the twist but still didn't spoil it.
(Worth watching) - review by Jo
Bit of a let down - not enough shark attacking for my liking - lack of shark attacking should have meant a better story line - Jaws this ain't. Disappointing.
Pure fun and entertainment - don't take it seriously....
(Worth watching) - review by Jo
Absolute classic from the 80's - not the best by todays standards perhaps but still has some genuine gross, freak out moments. I loved it as a teenager and loved it again this time around.

As a non car person I wasn't sure that I would enjoy this film - I got it mainly for my husband to watch because he IS a car person (having built one himself) however I was pleasantly surprised. Enjoyable from beginning to end - Eric is such a watchable and likeable person - it was just a really nice, well done movie. Give it a go!!
(Excellent) - review by Jo
I really enjoyed this one - subject matter a bit trippy - great concept - really cool film.
(Excellent) - review by Jo
Usual Tarantino film with all the quirkiness and violence you would expect from his films. This one fell a bit flat for me - maybe the subject matter didn't interest me enough - was all a bit 'meh' - take it or leave it.
My boys love Larry and with Jay Lagia as the voices really can't go wrong. Fun entertainment for the little ones.
(Worth watching) - review by Jo
Thought provoking film about human nature, greed and power - the ending was rushed and complete button - was good up to there. It wasn't bad - although not great.
(Worth watching) - review by Jo
Quite a few 'ouchie' and 'cringe' worthy moments in this film. Not for the squeamish. Certainly not as good as other 'what would you do in this situation' type films (think Saw - the original one) but I enjoyed yelling at the TV for their clear rampant stupidity. So enjoyable for me : )
(Worth watching) - review by Jo
Was really engaging at the beginning then fell a bit flat for me. However was good and worth watching.
(Worth watching) - review by Jo
Over the top, unbelievable, testosterone filled romp. My husband loved it - thought I would not as not a ' rev head' - however awesome stunt driving and car chases - which is the whole point of these films. Don't take it too seriously - a 10 tonne vault not even breaking a tree? HA! Loved it.
(Excellent) - review by Jo
I found this film quite enjoyable. Bit lame and slow in places but overall it was fun, nice film.
(Worth watching) - review by Jo
Boring to the point of annoying. Spent most of the time watching it on fast speed just to get it over with. Possibly should not have bothered even doing that. Yes it is Australian and yes it has some good actors in it - but doesn't make it good.
(Don't bother!) - review by Jo
I watched this with my husband who said "it's as weird as hell". Jump on...enjoy it. It's about Aliens and Cowboys...don't over analyse it. Personally I loved it!
(Excellent) - review by Jo
I thought that this movie could have had a lot more substance given the subject matter. It was ok.
Anyone who has ever lost someone will be very touched by this movie. I did find it a bit disjointed but overall a nice film.
(Worth watching) - review by Jo
Premise exactly the same as the first - can't really shift much from a "Hangover" plot - location and shenanigans different. Enjoyed it - funny and well done. Living in "Alan Town" a very funny highlight and the photos at the end with the credits (as with the first film) are worth the wait.
(Excellent) - review by Jo
Loved this movie. Funny and engaging. Well worth a watch.

I came into this with a mind set that it was a funny film - which it is in places - beautiful story, made me cry - very heart warming - shows love can conquer all. My hubby enjoyed it too (Anne Hathaway in the nude was probably more his thing though : ) Well worth watching.
(Excellent) - review by Jo
I really enjoyed this film. Was not expecting an oscar winning movie - (not with the likes of JT and Cameron in it anyway!) it was funny, very crass in places - a movie not to be taken seriously. Sometimes bad is good. I think worth a watch.
(Worth watching) - review by Jo
Typical J-Lo movie with not much thinking required - not brilliant but I was not thinking 'there goes an hour and a half of my life I won't get back" - it was ok.
Bit ridiculous but enjoyable - some good action that I was not expecting, with some good albeit predictable twists. Worth a view.
(Worth watching) - review by Jo
Not as good as I was expecting, ending felt a bit rushed but overall ok, enjoyable film.
