Too quirky and predictable character and plot eccentricity for my liking - not that funny, just strange!

What a great production of this little known story. The settings were wonderful and scenes were so well presented and shot by the camera crews. graphic detail of the period was detailed and looked so genuine. This is a film where you become immersed into the era through the eyes of an individual who becomes an unassuming hero by the end.

Great slapsick and funny characterisations by these two talented comedians! Over the top most of the time but executed so well. Plenty of good material in the Airline space for this series to continue for some time, I reckon. Waiting in the airport lounge will never be the same.

Interesting village life but becomes too predictable. Warm and fuzzy with quirky outcomes in the end - but not that entertaining. I found that I was anticipating what was going to eventuate or what character reactions were going to be too regularly. The setting had its attractions for a while and the characters became less appealing for me to continue to be that interested.
