This movie is not "Sci-fi", it should be classified under "Religion"; Do you believe in "higher powers" controlling everything we do? do you believe in destiny and fate? that we are all a part of a master plan that someone or something has created for us? Do you think that all the good in the world such as ground breaking inventions, great art and artists were the makings of this "greater being"? And that all the bad things, like World Wars, famine, murder and bombs were the result that human were left to our own devices? Yeah. Religious movie disguised as an action/political/romance/sci-fi movie. Hate it. Over controlling and overbearing rubbish,

Good story, great lead actors. Don't understand why the children were upset and the mother had to explain herself. They are all adults and she owes the children nothing or why Hayley didn't tell his missus when he saw them. Aside from those points, good movie.

Completely absurd story with unlikable and unbelievable characters. It would have suited better if it was based in an imaginary realm ran by a pack of vampires/troll cross-breeds instead (rolls eyes). This piece of crap is a woeful mix of stolen scenes from Star Wars ["Luke, I am your father"] and Minority Report [kill them before they can hurt someone!]. Strangely enough, it has somehow managed to lure in some "famous" (ie. recognizable) names to "act" (ie. flay around) and carry it along on their shoulders.

not a fan of cross-culture comedy (ie. shi-fu translated is already "master" so master shifu is technically "master master"). touching at times about family-related issues, however, writing/dialogue could be improved. Problem with movies nowadays, especially animation, that focuses and uses too many "celebrity" voices to push it rather than having decent voice actors and corresponding storylines.

great movie with well suited actors/acting and flowing story line. good integration of actual footage and filming. love the setting and costumes as well.

(spoiler) The flasback through Snape's eyes actually tied everything for the past 10years together very well. This actually was the only redeeming factor in the entire series as it made so much more sense why people acted or did things the way they did. There were a few discrepencies where they avoid talking about or explaining certain crucial aspects of the storyline but its not something ill lose sleep over trying to solve (or will convince me to pick up the book and read from the begining).

Cat lovers will enjoy this movie much more than any other viewers. Although its set in Nordic times, the accents range from Americans to heavy Scottish. Its paced brilliantly, with great animation and a funny and engaging story. Can't wait to see the live production in 2012.

Take the horse from Hercules, the bar scene from Beauty and the Beast, the prisoned princess from Aladdin, mix in modern female empowerment and a half baked story and you get Rapunzel. Instead of having great original stories and ideas they can tell (eg. Wall-e, Up) or re-invent an existing one (eg. The Frog Princess), they just ended up mushing up all the other Disney movies they have done into the one nostalgic movie. Very disappointed as I am an avid Disney fan.

Had no idea what this movie was about when I came across it (never even read a review or description of it), but when I sat down to watch it, I was hooked; it was funny, interesting with twists and turns at every corner. Maybe because I was not old enough to remember this happening on the news at the time or that it could be an elaborate faux documentary, it kept me glued until the end. Only point I don't like was the editing of some of the scenes. But overall, great movie/doco.

Very good story, told in an elegant way with beautful supportting actors (and I'm not referring to their appearances). The characters all have their own styles and beliefs and don't always fall into the sterotypes. Really enjoyed it.

Could not stand the first 10 mintues of this movie; I generally like to give a movie the first 30mintues before i start to judge it but i Can Not Stand It.

Only good thing about this movie is the animation. The important aspect, ie. Acting, Story etc. fails with abundance. This movie is for people who like to look at pretty things with no substances.

Brilliant. Got to watch it to believe it.

First 10minutes hinted at a darker story only to be followed by 2 hours of nothing. Only reason i sat through this whole movie was that i hoped something would happen. Fingers crossed that part 2 has all the action and story in it.

Cast memebers appear to have been picked from soap operas, storyline trying to be clever (but fails miserably), overacting and overstated. Only slightly decent thing i can say about this movie is the animation of the werewolf- but that still doesn't override any of the many negative aspects of this movie. Please avoid if possible.

Not subtle or clever, writers took easy way out. Disappointed at adaptation; weak acting, terrible storyline, Disc skipped and scratched at 52:00 minute mark so i took that as a sign to stop watching. You just don't feel anything (positive or negative) for anyone in the movie.
