It actually wasn't that bad... Nothing Oscar worthy clearly, a few bad acting moments, story (apparently) based on true events so i guess it could happen. The plot outline makes it sound more cheesy than what it actually is. You might be pleasantly surprised. I was.

Love these types of film. Fun, quirky and very entertaining. Great animation, great cast and characters. Its hard now for these CGI films to be original but this one does it well. Very entertaining for anyone of any age.

Are you serious? This was the most pathetic film i've seen... I skipped most of it. If you can get past the main actors, flat, one-dimensional acting then you're doing well. Not even worth one star.
(Don't bother!) - review by VINCE
A good movie. Not for everyone, great acting. A little slow in parts with lots of dialogue. But great costumes and cinematography.

These films are fantastic. The colours, the animation, the music are all perfect. The 3D looks amazing. Another great addition to the Madagascar franchise... look out for part 4 I'm sure. Try not to get that Polkadot song stuck in your head.

It was quite interesting... much better than i thought it was going to be. If you like supernatural thriller/horror films then i think you'll like this. Great performances by all...
(Worth watching) - review by VINCE
It was OK i guess... nothing spectacular. Pretty slow with not much happening throughout the whole film. Not much of a twist... i should have just skipped straight to the last chapter. Bit of a let down from Amanda Seyfried.
(Maybe) - review by VINCE
I didn't find it overly funny... its was just a bunch of random scenarios put together to make one film. Highlight of the film was probably the young girl. Jonah Hill seems to play the same character in every film.

Enjoyed it... got to see a completely different side to the KP we all think we know. Great concert by the look of things. Looks great in 3D and surround sound is awesome.

LOVED this movie... its one of the most original horror movies i've seen in years. Great cast, excellent story. I couldn't take my eyes off the screen and just when you think the movie can't get any better it does... A movie that i know i won't get sick of watching.

Way to weird for my liking... started off with some great potential but then it just became very bazaar. Some of the special effects were good... but for the most part this movie is a major cheese fest and will leave you thinking WHAT THE????

Great film. Right amount of black comedy and shrieking horror and intense suspense...
... Shame I received a bad copy though as it skipped a good 8 or so minutes...

Excellent series... can't believe it took me so long to get into this show. Great characters and a great story. So many twists and cliff-hangers. Much better than season 1.
Series 3 is about to air in the US so will be interesting to see where the series goes.
(Not to be missed!) - review by VINCE
It was touching... but nothing to rave about. Probably the reason why it was a straight to DVD film.

Loved it. Wasn't sure what to expect as Jonah Hill can be a bit hit and miss. But i really enjoyed it. Kind of had a Scott Pilgrim feel to it. Channing and Tatum were both great... wasn't expecting the bit of blood bath at the end but none the less enjoyed it. LOVED the cameo from a particular someone at the end. Great film.
(Excellent) - review by VINCE
OOOOOMG! This was soooo boring. I could tell by the abysmal acting in the first 3 minutes that this was going to be a shocker and i wasn't wrong. The acting is bad... several visual and sound effects taken directly from 'The Ring'. Didn't keep me captivated for more than 20 minutes. Fast Forwarded the last 30 minutes and predicted what they'd call a twist about 45 minutes in. Waste of time.

I've seen Tron Legacy but had never seen this, so i thought id watch this before i watched Legacy again. And wow, hasn't CGI advanced.
Tron is a great film WAYYYY ahead of its time, it does look really dated now but i imagined myself back in 1982 watching it and i quite enjoyed it.

Looks amazing in Blu-ray after all these years. Great touching fun family film. Haven't seen it in at least 20 years i would say and it was great to catch up on another Disney classic.
(Excellent) - review by VINCE
LOVED IT!!! This movie is so much fun its one of those films you could watch over and over and never get sick of it. Great cast, human and muppet. Great catchy songs, great colour and movement. Overall a great fun film from the Disney/Muppet powerhouse.
(Not to be missed!) - review by VINCE
I didn't mind this one. Think Mission: Impossible VS Ocean's 11. Great funny cast, easy to follow fun story. Overall a fun film i think most people will like.

So far the first eps are pretty good. Im not a HUGE fan of the Zombie genre but im quite enjoying this. Great characters with believable development. Great Zombies effects and nice music. Looking forward to finishing off the series.

Great action/adventure film. The animation is fantastic. Probably the best to date. Story is easy to follow which you really get involved in. Great cast. Another great Spielberg film. Really nice 3D too.

Well i'm glad i watched the film before seeing the other reviews below because i may not have hired it. I actually liked the film. Yes it may be a little sad and depressing, but Mavis makes a big transformation in the end which is quite inspiring. Some scenes are little funny, some make you uncomfortable. Overall, its a film about letting go and growing up.
(Worth watching) - review by VINCE
Not too bad... a semi-pointless addition to the franchise. Great special effects... apart from that it didn't really seem to go anywhere. It kind of felt like it was on repeat. It ended too suddenly and the 3D was only so so. Fight scenes were good though. Seem likes they'll probably make a 5th movie.
(Worth watching) - review by VINCE
The Chipmunk movies never seem to disappoint. If you can see past the Cheesy title of the film and you've enjoyed the previous 2 Chipmunk films you'll probably enjoy this. Great music, cute laughs and altogether a much more adventurous flick than the first two. Great for kids, teens and adults.

This is an amazing show... i highly recommend it to anyone who wanted to watch it but missed the first few episodes. It will leave you hooked and wanting more. Make sure you watch it before season 2 airs on Australian TV Jan/Feb 2013.
(Excellent) - review by VINCE
LOVED this show, Took at least 2-3 episodes before i really became hooked but once i was i couldn't stop watching. Its such an original and interesting story, so different to anything on TV right now. Characters are great, each episode is a different fairy tale intertwined with a modern twist. A great show.

Not a bad addition to the Underworld franchise. It does elaborate on some scenes seen in the first film that are never fully explained and creates a whole story around it with familiar characters from both 1st and 2nd films. Great effects, i actually think this is better than Underworld but not as good as U: Evolution.
(Worth watching) - review by VINCE
Really really enjoyed 'The Lorax'. The animation is fantastic, the colours just looks beautiful and the 3D looks amazing. I missed this one at the movies so i'd been hanging ever since to see it. Great heart warming story, loveable characters and fun music. I just wish the ending had of been a little bit longer... it seems to just end suddenly.
(Excellent) - review by VINCE
Not a completely bad film. Got a little tedious in the middle and predictable in the end but it was still enjoyable. Great music, decent acting and great SFX. Not something that i would feel the need to watch again but it did fill in a quiet night.
(Worth watching) - review by VINCE
Really enjoyed this film. Much better than the first. Underworld had a budget of $22,000,000 and U: Evolution had $50,000,000 and you can definitely see a big difference in the two films. This one looks slicker, has much better effects, bigger sets and action sequences and bigger and badder characters. It has much more of an adventure feel to it. Great sequel in the series. Kate is awesome as always.
(Excellent) - review by VINCE
A lot better than what i remember. Great effects, great action sequences. Great to see some of my favourite english actors play these character roles. They could probably shave off 15 minutes or so. Does feel a little long. But still a good film, the sequel is MUCH better IMO.
(Worth watching) - review by VINCE
Im not a huge politics follower, the mention of it bores me instantly, but i wanted to see this because i love Meryl Streep. Im glad that it focused more on Thatcher's personal strengths and struggles rather than just the politics. Meryl was of course outstanding, a complete transformation. The movie flows well and quick and never once thought it was boring. A great film overall.
(Excellent) - review by VINCE
Such a great film. Only saw it in 2D at the cinemas so it was great to see it in 3D. Spectacular animation, great funny story. There is elements for both kids, teens and adults. Id find it hard to believe that anyone would hate this film. It definitely is one of Dreamworks best and gives the original Shrek films a run for their money.
(Not to be missed!) - review by VINCE
Wasn't as cheesy as i thought it was going to be. Takes itself a bit more seriously than films like Piranha 3D. Effects are good, looks good in 3D. Plenty of blood for the horror fans.

Can't really remember much of the other M:i films but i really enjoyed this. Great action sequences, easy enough story to follow. Cool tech gadgets and toys.
Enjoyed it more than i thought i would.

I don't necessarily hate Lars von Trier's films, but they always leave me feeling empty and cold. This is no different.
The first 9 minutes is beautifully shot, Chpt. 1 is nothing interesting and seems kind of pointless. Chpt. 2 is almost like a completely different film and is much more intriguing. As always it looks great, acting is superb, but will not be for everyone.
(Worth watching) - review by VINCE
Great movie, excellent effects, easy enough story to follow.
Might be quite violent for some but if you've seen the Kill Bill movies or 300 etc there isn't anything that will turn you off here.
The 3D looks pretty good, especially the last 30 seconds.
(Worth watching) - review by VINCE
Probably the best of a bad bunch in terms of horror remakes. Of course it can't compare to Vincent Price's masterpiece original. But as a stand alone film its pretty good. Great effects, great atmosphere, great music. Acting isn't too bad, probably the best acting from Paris Hilton (which isn't saying much).
Was filmed on the Gold Coast too.
(Worth watching) - review by VINCE
It started off quite promising. A few laughs. Then it started to get just really stupid.
The whole Al Pacino thing was just so random and i don't think his cameo really helped the film. Few laughs at the start but they die quite quickly.
(Maybe) - review by VINCE
Amazing concert. B just has soooo much energy, i don't know how she does it. Of course Beyonce sets the standard for her own tours but you can't really compare this to the likes of a Kylie, Madonna or Gaga concert. Its really just B, her voice, her wind machine and a few dancers.
(Excellent) - review by VINCE
Wasn't too bad. Better than i thought it was going to be. Visuals effects were great, sound effects in 5.1 were pretty awesome. Had the right amount of gore/comedy to make it work.
Glad to see that Nick Frost got his cameo. Not a bad film, worth a watch.
(Worth watching) - review by VINCE
I loved this movie. It looks fantastic, all the costumes, the cinematography, the streets of Paris.
Owen Wilson usually annoys me in everything he does but he had an innocent, naive charm about it that made it work in my eyes. Marion Cotillard was just fantastic and ever so convincing. I kind of wish it had of been a little longer though. A great Film.
(Excellent) - review by VINCE
Hmmmm... looked good in 3D but it got tiring pretty quickly. I was half expecting it to be over and it had only been on for 30 minutes.
The cast voicing the characters did a pretty poor job too. Not the best animation i've seen.

After 8 years i've finally watched it. I thought it was a really well paced and an informative doco about something we all think we know 'everything' about. Fast Food. Turns out i learnt a lot more.
It has made me think twice about what i put in my mouth. I just wish his latest effort "POM Wonderful The Greatest Movie Ever Sold" was as interesting.
(Worth watching) - review by VINCE
The effects were great. But sadly that was it. Too many characters doing too many things at once, it was hard to follow and didn't really catch the main point of the film.
In saying that it looks great, great costumes, 3D is pretty awesome. Nothing i would watch again though.

Such an amazing atmospheric film. To this day (well yesterday) i don't think i had ever seen the whole thing from start to finish. But with 'Prometheus' coming out in June, I felt the need to watch the 4 Alien films.
For a film made in 1979, it looks so clear and sharp in Blu-ray format. The suspense is perfect, it has the right amount of light and shadows so your mind starts to play tricks on you. Excellent story and great acting by all. Amazing effect too.
(Not to be missed!) - review by VINCE
I was hoping for something funnier. Only a few scenes involving Emma Stone and Marisa Tomei had me giving a little chuckle, but that was about it. Other wise it is a pretty boring movie with a predictable ending.
(Maybe) - review by VINCE
Thought it was a very good film. Excellent acting by all (some short lived), great story with that Steven Soderbergh (Traffic, Ocean's 11, 12, 13) look and feel. The way its written keeps you watching as it jumps between current events and how the virus was possibly created/spread etc. Worth a watch.
(Excellent) - review by VINCE
Liked this movie. Cameron Diaz is perfect in this role. Also love Lucy Punch as Ms. Squirrel, she always plays crazy roles. Sets a really bad example for kids (steal, lie and cheat) but i guess thats the point of the film... she is a 'Bad Teacher' after all. Quite a few laughs, lots of scenes and dialogue in the MA15 trailer aren't even in the film which is strange.
(Worth watching) - review by VINCE
Its 'just' OK. Nothing special, nothing i would recommend nor watch again. The acting is so so, for the first time ever i was watching Sigourney Weaver thinking, WOW!, you're a really bad actress.
The story is VERY predictable and it tries to keep you in suspense but falls short every time. Better luck next time Taylor.

I actually liked this one. The first film was OK, the second was just plain awful, the third a little better but still bad, so i decided not to see this at the movies so i wouldn't waste $18.
But after having watched it in my own time i actually liked it. Better than i thought it would be. I especially love the last few minutes. I probably still won't see Part 2 at the cinemas, but i am looking forward to seeing how they end the series.
(Worth watching) - review by VINCE
I liked this movie more than i thought it would. It had great fighting scenes, great special effects. I only watched it the other day and already forgotten how it ended so it couldn't have been that memorable. But i still enjoyed it. 3D was a little bit of a let down. The menu had better 3D than the actual film.
(Worth watching) - review by VINCE
If you want something thats really easy to watch, doesn't require too much brain power and an overall fun film to watch this will be a great film for you.
It has a great cast who are all funny, a not so original story (what is these days), but it still works for what it is. We enjoyed it.
(Worth watching) - review by VINCE
Good movie. Very graphic for those with a squeamish stomach. Although it does seem that the identity of the Website owner is a huge mystery to everyone in the FBI and then all of a sudden its solved. The ending seemed a bit too abrupt but it was still a good thriller.
(Worth watching) - review by VINCE
This was a pretty intense movie. At first you think its going to be easy going, pretty slow, but then it does a complete 180 and goes crazy on you. Very graphic and not for the faint hearted.
(Worth watching) - review by VINCE
WOW, what an incredible mind blowing film. From start to finish i was on the edge of my seat.
Great action, great effects and very original story. It could have ended at a certain point which i would have been happy with, but they decided to go on for another 10 minutes or so which turned it into an Inception-esque type film. Still, i thought it was great and definitely a film i could sit through twice.
(Not to be missed!) - review by VINCE
Pretty average. Actually, VERY average. Not as fun as i thought it was going to be. Pretty bad acting by most involved. The idea is quite original and probably read better on paper, but for me it just didn't work on screen. Some scenes are OK, but for the most its more miss than hit.
(Maybe) - review by VINCE
I liked it. I thought it was a really creative movie. It's not until you watch this doco that you realize how influenced by advertising and product placement we are. Sometimes subtle, sometime smack bang in your face.
I think Morgan tells his story in a fun and engaging way. I still haven't seen Super Size Me but it is next on my list.
(Worth watching) - review by VINCE
Loved this movie. It was funny, it was heart warming and overall a very fun film to watch.
The movie was a lot more endearing than i was expecting and thoroughly enjoyed it from start to end.
The penguins are very cute and was pleased that 80% of the penguins shown are live penguins, not CGI. A great film for anyone at any age.
(Worth watching) - review by VINCE
A good film. Saw it at the movies when it was released and was quite surprised. Not one to go crazy over superhero films i wasn't expecting much, but the story is fun, the special effects are great and it looks good in 3D also. Takes great advantage of a surround sound system, so if you have one turn up the volume. Decided to re-watch it again for the upcoming 'Avengers' movie.
(Excellent) - review by VINCE
I really liked it. Looked great in 3D.
Excellent special effects, especially how they made Chris Evans look like a puny scrawny guy in the beginning. Great fun story set in the early 40s about the rise of America's greatest hero. Hugo Weaving is also excellent as the evil Red Skull. Great surround sound too. Make sure you watch after the credits too for those who are anticipating the upcoming 'The Avengers'.
(Excellent) - review by VINCE
What a complete waste of time.
Extremely bad acting, pretty boring in some parts. It is a pretty dumb film. Nothing i would watch again or recommend to anyone else.
For a film that has such a cult following i was VERY disappointed.
(Don't bother!) - review by VINCE
I thought it was pretty good. Some parts were VERY superhero movie clich?, but for the most part it is pretty entertaining. It's definitely not the best comic movie out there and Ryan Reynolds kind of annoys me but the special effects and the action scenes made up for it. Nothing new in the story department either.
(Worth watching) - review by VINCE
What an amazing film. From start to end this film is just so engrossing. The sets, the effects, the music and atmosphere.
It's such a beautifully deadly film, elegant but poisonous.
If you don't want to watch it because its in Spanish then you're missing out on an amazing Journey. To me this movie is like 'Inglorious Bastards' meets 'Jim Henson's Labyrinth'. The fantasy scenes will make you gasp with excitement and the real world scenes will make you cringe. It is quite violent so be warned.
(Excellent) - review by VINCE
OK, Just warning you now. For those who have seen the first film and thought it was morally wrong in every way possible. Well this doesn't get any better, in fact its about 10 times as worse. The violence is worse, the story is even more sick and twisted. I would suggest anyone which a new born baby NOT watch this film.
(Don't bother!) - review by VINCE
Wasn't bad, nothing ground breaking. If you take the plot from 'Final Destination' and merge it with 'Jumanji' then this is what you get. Acting isn't too bad, at least the two leads are well known actors not b grade nobodies. The effects are a little off-putting because they look too cartoony but overall it was an OK movie, not something id watch a second time though. I think the twist ending made it in the end for me.
(Maybe) - review by VINCE
DO NOT BOTHER!!! You have been warned. Extremely bad acting, bad effects, predictable, contradicting story. If you want a spider flick, go 'Arachnaphobia' or 'Eight Legged Freaks', give this a miss.
(Don't bother!) - review by VINCE
It was ok. Nothing original in the plot department but some clever writing makes it more of an adults only 'Freaky Friday'. Some scenes are funny, some will leave you wanting to cringe and gasp. The two leads are great as is Leslie Mann. The only gripe I have is that it dragged on a bit, they could have easily cut out 20 minutes or so.
(Maybe) - review by VINCE
We liked it. It is quite an unusual story, though it is based on a true events.
Some parts were funny, some parts were sad, it did get a bit silly towards the end and it was hard to determine what really did happen and what was created for the film.
I like both Carrey and McGregor but together they seemed a bit awkward and not convincing.
Still it was better than i thought it would be.
(Worth watching) - review by VINCE
We liked it. For those who don't know this is the same guys who created 'There's Something About Mary' and 'Me, Myself & Irene', so you can expect the same type of crude toilet humour. If thats your type of thing, great, you'll love it.
It is a pretty funny film at the expense of others. Greats cast, great story, fun characters and a sneeze you'll never forget. Lol.

This was an AMAZING. Concert... i also saw it at the cinemas for a special 3D presentation. That was spectacular too. Any Kylie fan MUST have this in their collection. The stage set-up was just amazing, the costumes are beautiful, the choreography is fun, the dancers are hot (as always) and of course Kylie is as gorgeous as ever an Aphrodite of the stage.
If you have a 3D TV, i recommend watching the 3D version.

First to review... thats embarrassing.
Anyway... it was good. If you like the TV show glee you'll like this. The 3D wasn't so much in your face 3D, but gave it a bit of depth. Some close ups of the cast made their microphones seem to pop right out at you.
Singing is great, the song choices for the concert were great and it was nice to see the little clips of fans and how they relate to Glee and its characters.

Excellent Australian Film. Not for the faint hearted. The rawness of the film is so realistic that it leaves you feeling numb and void of any emotion. Acting is excellent, the story is gripping and and all too disturbing. 'Snowtown' goes to show that Australia really knows how to make raw, gritty dramas, probably a lot better than America.
(Excellent) - review by VINCE
I've read the short story... and it is short, so of course they're going to fill the rest with stuff they think is interesting. The problem is it does get a little boring in parts. The whole movie is a big build up to the finale, which adapted to the screen better than i thought it would. Not a bad movie, just don't expect much until the last 25 minutes or so.
(Maybe) - review by VINCE
Oh my god. I was soooo very bored watching this. It is an extremely slow film, not a lot happens in it at all. It seems like you need to travel through a whole bunch of swings and roundabouts to get to the end. Nothing engaging about this at all, yes the acting is excellent, but that wasn't enough to keep my attention. Too much talking, not enough action. It looks dull and bland... and thats exactly what it is.
(Maybe) - review by VINCE
I LOVED THIS FILM!! Of course i know who 'The Muppets' are but didn't grow up watching them. There was the odd Muppet movie as i was a child but thats about it. Sitting through the movie i was amazed at how they were able to take such an old bunch of characters and return them to a modern time allowing todays children to become acquainted with them.
Great story, excellent acting, funny and great musical numbers. This is the type of film you could watch over and over and never get sick of.

It was a great film. If you've read the book and seen the Swedish version you know exactly what to expect with this. The acting is brilliant, the music and scenery are beautiful.
Its a shame they had to change the ending, but at least it didn't alter the storyline too greatly. Some scenes will be quite hard to watch for those new to the story. Oh... and catch the awesome opening titles. Definitely my favourite part of the film.
(Excellent) - review by VINCE
Wow!, what an adventure. Martin Scorsese has done it again. Hugo is a magically heartwarming story. A cinematic masterpiece which pays homage to what cinema used to be. The special effects are amazing , the way the camera moves is just so fluid, you feel like you're flying.
The acting by all is superb especially by Butterfield and Moretz. Hopefully you all got to see this at the cinema in stunning 3D. It was the most amazing use of 3D i've seen by far.
(Not to be missed!) - review by VINCE
It wasn't bad. I liked it. 3D was OK. Much more of an adventure film than the first film (Journey to the Centre of the Earth). It combines many classics like 'The Mysterious Island', 'Treasure Island', '20,000 Leagues Under the Sea' and 'Gulliver's Travels'.
Dwayne Johnson gets a little annoying as he seems to have the answer to everything that gets in their way.
Great effects, decent enough story line/easy to follow. A great adventure film that doesn't require much thinking.
(Worth watching) - review by VINCE
What a peculiar little film. I have seen all three Basket Case films so i wouldn't be surprised if this entire film was written and directed by acid tripping crew. The voice of the little worm thing is quite eerie but suits it well. Expect b-grade 80's dialogue with cheesy SFX and countless amounts of fake blood. But don't get me wrong, it is fun to watch if thats what you're after. Pure Cheese.
(Maybe) - review by VINCE
Didn't even watch it all. I think i lost interest after 5 minutes. I chapter skipped through most of it and still picked up the story (if you can call it that). SFX are great, but thats not enough to hold my attention for 100 minutes. Again, i should have listened to the people who were telling me it was bad, because they weren't kidding. Boring Boring Boring.
(Don't bother!) - review by VINCE
Great film. Lots of fun for everyone. Especially cat and dog lovers. Looks good in 3D although some scenes seemed a little blurry. Apart from that the SFX look great and the storyline is easy to follow and pretty fun to watch. Bette Midler is fantastic as Kitty Galore., she suits an evil cat perfectly.
(Worth watching) - review by VINCE
If i only had read these reviews before i added this film to the list...
...it is as bad as they say. Badly acted, horribly written. The three short films look like they've been filmed on some old handycam.
I probably liked the second story out of the 3, but even thats not saying much.
(Don't bother!) - review by VINCE
OK, i had no idea until just now that its a sequel. Not much going on in the plot department but if you're after gore, well look no further. I agree its trying to be a SAW type film. Shock horror gore for the sake of it is how you sum up Chromeskull. I gave it 2 because for a clearly low budget film they pulled off the SFX pretty well.
(Don't bother!) - review by VINCE
Great movie. Probably my favourite of the first three episodes. Looks great on Blu-ray and sounds amazing with surround sound. Some scenes i think are too clear and crisp that it almost has an artificial feel to it.
Amazing special effects though and the story sets up nicely for episodes IV - VI.
(Excellent) - review by VINCE
Great movie, much more action than Episode I. Looks great on Blu-ray and sounds amazing with surround sound.
Gives you a great insight as to how Darth Vader and the Emperor came about. Amazing special effects.

Great movie. Remember seeing it at the movies and being blown away. Looks great on Blu-ray and sounds amazing with surround sound.
The film has already been touched up by Lucas with a CGI Yoda replacing the original puppet Yoda. Great film though.

Such a classic Holiday film. Brings back so many fun memories watching this after so many years. Looks so clear and crisp in Blu-ray too. If you haven't seen Home Alone (who hasn't?) then treat yourself. Its perfect for the Holiday season.

Its actually quite good. I wasn't expecting much... but was pleasantly surprised. If you liked Shaun of the Dead, then you'll appreciate the dark comedy in Doghouse.
It has the right amount of blood and guts and all the Zombie women are pretty fun to watch.

A great Christmas movie... Jim Carey is fantastic as the christmas hating Grinch. The sets, costumes and make-up look wonderful. The story based on Dr. Seusse's book has a heart warming message for its audience about love and forgiveness.
A great film to kick off the holiday season. I do remember it being a lot more colourful though... it seemed a bit dull looking.

It was a great film. Being a Disney fan i had to watch it. I was quite impressed... it was a good film. I felt that something was missing though... maybe this something is the reason why this film didn't do as well as it should have. Still... the characters are likeable, the animation is great (same technique as Polar Express and A Christmas Carol) and it has a heart warming story about being united as one. Wont be liked by all... but i enjoyed it.

This is a FANTASTIC film. From the opening scene until the very end this film captures you by its fun characters, beautiful animation and engrossing story. The music is great, the colours and scenery look amazing and the characters are bold and memorable. A great film to be enjoyed by everyone.

I didn't really have time for this one. I put it on... and after about 20 minutes i lost complete interest and turned it off. I sent it back without having even finished it. The actors interaction with the animation was poorly done... the story was a little clich?d. Acting wasn't that great either. Yogi Bear was a great fail.

I really wanted to like this film, but after having seen it twice now i still don't think i like it. It starts off well... but it just seems to get dumb real quick towards the end. Some scenes are good... but i just didn't buy it.

An excellent film, Melissa Leo and Christian Bale definitely deserved their Oscar awards. The film, is gripping, engrossing and sometimes tragic. Excellently acted, well written and well directed.

OK, I'm only giving this 2 stars because the special effects were pretty good. Apart from that, the writing was sloppy, the acting was pretty bad. I thought it was quite boring in parts. Actually the only thing i thought was cool about the movie were the closing credits... serious.

I forgot i had actually come across this Christmas special on TV last year... i didn't realise until about half way through. But still... it is a fun, happy christmas special penned by the Muppets of course. All the faves are there... including a few cameos by Nathan Lane, Whoopi Goldberg, Jane Krakowski and Uma Thurman. Its only 52 minutes long... but it is a great way to start the festive season.

I actually really liked it... it was well acted... well paced. Had me sitting on the edge of my seat the entire time. I wasn't expecting much, but was very pleasantly surprised. There are a few scenes not for the faint hearted, but apart from that... if you go in with low expectations... you may be pleasantly surprised.

Any fan of the SCREAM movies will appreciate this. Its fun, its scary and its exactly the sequel i was hoping for. Ghostface returns after 11 years to wreak havoc on Sidney Prescott and her cousins friends just as she's launching a tell-all biography of her life with Ghostface.
It is a fun film and has now become my favourite of all the SCREAM films. I just hope the success of SCRE4M doesn't result in a SCREAM 5.

After hearing bad reviews about this film i wasn't holding my breath to see it. But i did really enjoy it. It was funny, and original.
Emma Stone is a great actress and the rest of the cast are great also. It may not be everyones cup of tea, but i thought it was a fun film.

I wouldn't say this is my favourite genre, but i do like the Resident Evil movies. I watched this one not having any expectations and finished it thinking it wasn't too bad.
Of course you know what you're getting yourself into, mutated zombies, actions sequences, a bit of blood and gore, so for what it is, i liked it. Not the best in the series, but it was still fun to watch.

Ok, it was pretty bad. Really bad acting and a very dull story. What could have possibly been a really good film turned out to be a dud, mainly thanks to bad writing and cheap effects.

I liked it. I missed it at the movies and after hearing from nearly everyone I know how great it was I decided to watch it for myself. Christina Aguilera is actually an OK actress, it flows quickly and the song/dance routines are catchy and glitzy. I was a little distracted by Cher's lips, but she was good too. A fun musical, if you like that type of thing.
(Excellent) - review by VINCE
It was OK i guess. I think I'm slowly starting to get over this torture/horror genre. It was better than i thought it was going to be, but there were too many plot holes throughout the film which cheapened the whole movie. Also, too many questions left un-answered. It's certainly not the best thriller i've ever seen, but not the worst either.
(Maybe) - review by VINCE
Such a classic. It's hard to believe it's almost 40 years old. The acting, make-up effects, special effects and overall atmosphere just seem as fresh and as current as it would have back in 1973. A chilling Thriller that doesn't seem to age.
It looks fantastic in High-Def too.

Hmmm, i thought it was a pretty weak re-imagining of Craven's classic. For me there wasn't enough dream elements. Even in the kids dreams, they were still just running around trying to escape Freddy. Freddy's dream world was virtually the same as the real world, it wasn't interesting. The acting was what you come to expect from a teen horror film and the new Freddy just isn't as fun as Robert Englund's classic Freddy,

Pretty average attempt from Chris Columbus here. If the name rings a bell thats because you've seen it attached to Harry Potter 1 + 2. I think he thought he could create another HP phenomenon with this series, but i think its safe to say he failed miserably. Bad acting, boring story. Its like the author of the book took J.K Rowling's ideas, and instead of Wizards, turned the main characters in to Demigods. It should be called Percy Predictable.

This Aussie horror flick is FULL ON. I new it would be an intense film, but wasn't expecting it to be as intense as it was. Great acting, great story and pretty messed up. Its twisted, demented and fans of Texas Chainsaw Massacre should have fun with this.

Your typical D-grade horror trash. Bad acting, bad story, cheap sets. It will leave you thinking riiiiiiight. It takes itself way to seriously and fails big time.
I don't recommend.

I thought this was an excellent Australian film. I must admit, i've never been a fan of Australian films/dramas. But this film was raw and gritty and had me on the edge of my seat all the way through.
A great compelling story, excellent acting from everyone involved and great direction from from time director Steven Kastrissios.
Beware though, some scenes may be quite distressing for some people.

Devil was a great movie. Fast past, on the edge of your seat horror. Great twist at the end, great scares throughout. Considering the whole movie is spent inside an elevator, its never boring. This movie is the first in 'The Night Chronicles', produced by M. Night Shyamalan. A fun watch for fans of the genre.

Well, this movie is extremely hard to write a review for. It is shocking in some parts, boring in others and just confusing in most.
It does take an AWFULY long time to get to the main plot of the film, by then, you're almost over it entirely. Some scenes are extremely graphic so people with weak stomachs should avoid.
Not being a religious person i found the underlining context of the film to be un-interesting.

Another great live-action Disney film. Took me a while to get around to seeing this but I'm glad i did. The special effects are great, the acting is great, the plot gets a little lost sometimes but quickly finds itself again and gets back on track. It does set itself up for a nice sequel (watch after the credits). A great film anyone of any age can enjoy.

After hearing so many good things about this movie, I have to say i was quite bored from start to finish.
Yes the acting was great and there was great direction, but i felt like the movie didn't go anywhere. There didn't seem to be a beginning, a middle or an end. I certainly wouldn't recommend this to anyone, like it was to me.
(Maybe) - review by VINCE
It started off so good then just started to fizzle out halfway through. I think the only thing that saved the film was Jackie Q played by Australian actress Rose Byrne. It does have its funny moments, but it does start to get pretty old quickly. Not something id feel the need to watch again.

At first i thought, "Hmmm, im not liking this", but then it does pick up about 20mins in and in the end turned out to be quite a good film. Great suspense, great chills and eerie children. I think it works better being a British film, it makes it seem more believable. A great modern take on the killer children genre.
(Worth watching) - review by VINCE
It was OK. Didn't really understand the point of it. It went on about 30 minutes too long and was quite dull in parts.
The only parts that were good were the scenes with Lilith, the others parts were boring. Not something id watch again, nor would i recommend.

I loved this movie as a kid. Having watched it again in Blu-ray brought back many memories. I forgot how dark it was, i still remember being afraid of Gmork, the black wolf.
I've never read the book, but i do know that the Author was appalled by this adaptation. I still love it though, takes me back to my childhood.

Love this film. Disney and Zemeckis are a match made in heaven.
This version of 'A Christmas Carol' is the most faithful to Charles Dicken's classic story that i've seen. The Mo-Cap (motion capture) used to make the film is amazing and far superior to Zemeckis's previous film 'The Polar Express'.
Having seen it for the first time at the cinemas, i was surprised at how scary some scenes were, especially for small children.
Non-the-less it still is an excellent film to watch around the festive season.

A good film. Leaves you guessing to the very end. What you think you know, may or may not be the truth.
A clever plot with nice little twists but the acting is so so. I've seen Ricci act better before. Im not sure why its rated R, this is a little nudity, but no violence or language. A good film for those who like plot twists.

Hmmm not as interesting as i was hoping it would be. Its quite a slow film. Not much action and not enough gore for a Romero remake. It tries to be suspenseful but it just doesn't work.
Only one scene in the entire film was actually work watching. I wouldn't be in a hurry to watch this again.

A great film. It is excellently written. If you can think of everything that could go wrong on a Bachelors weekend, times it by 10 and you have The Hangover. A great cast, great acting, highly original and very comical. Theres a sequel coming May 2011 set in Thailand.
(Excellent) - review by VINCE
OK, i was totally bored. I made it for about 40 minutes, then my brain switched off. I fast forwarded the rest of the film. I gave it one star because the SFX were just OK considering its a low budget TV film. The acting and overall look of the film were pretty bad. You'll be better off watching 'Eight Legged Freaks'.

I think the Simpsons movie is great. Great gags, a fun and original plot. If you like The Simpsons (as most people do), you'll love the movie. It pretty much is like watching a very long episode, but of course the animation is far superior to that of the show. A fun watch for any fan.

Brothers is a remake of the 2004 Danish film 'Brodre'. This remake is an excellent film. The acting is superb, the story is touching and gripping as a young family deal with the loss of their husband/father who are then comforted by his Brother. I had my doubts about the film, but in the end i thoroughly enjoyed it. A must see.
(Excellent) - review by VINCE
Hmmmm, its pretty bad. The acting isn't that great, the special effects certainly aren't great and the story itself is just confusing and quite boring. This film has a lot of A-list stars who just seem out of place and confused as to what they're actually doing there. Based on a series of books, the films ends setting itself up for the sequel, but due to bad takings at the Box Office, no sequel has been planned. Shame.

I thought this was a very interesting, very original film. In a way it is also quite depressing. Sam Rockwell is fantastic in his role as Sam Bell, an astronaut sent to the moon on a 3 year mission to produce Helium energy for the earth. The atmosphere is very cold and lonely producing just the right effect of solitary confinement. A worthwhile film with some very interesting twists.
(Excellent) - review by VINCE
It was just OK. Nothing i would ever feel the need to watch again nor recommend to anyone else for that matter. The animation isn't anything special, the acting is just OK and the story gets old real quick and very predictable. I'm sure even young kids would get bored.

I thought this was fantastic. Again Meryl Streep is mesmerising and steals the show. The movie is made up of two different stories, one influenced by the other, intertwined in to a funny, touching cook-fest. Adams is also fantastic as real life Julie Powell who wrote the book Julie & Julia. I didn't think id like this that much, but i was very pleasantly surprised.

I was quite impressed by this film. The story was intriguing and easy to follow. It looks great in Blu-ray, the effects are great. Downey Jr. and Law are great as Holmes and Watson. The fight scenes are nothing new, but still fun to watch. It does set itself up for a sequel, which will in fact be released late 2011.
(Excellent) - review by VINCE
This film had the potential to be really funny. As the first 15 minutes rolled out, i thought this would be a great film. But then it started to go down a similar path like so many before. Man likes woman, woman doesn't like man, man wins over woman, marriage... blah blah blah. It became too Americanised in the end as i was hoping for a true Ricky Gervais comedy. Oh well.
(Maybe) - review by VINCE
Hmmm,
wasn't really impressed. Thought some parts were quite boring. I was always curious to watch this film as it has quite a cult following, but now that i've seen it i'm not quite sure what all the fuss is about. Even for its time the effects are quite dated.

Im giving it a three for being highly original, but overall i wasn't too impressed by it. I was expecting a lot more 'imaginarium' than there was. Acting is great, special effects are not bad but not the best. The story can sometimes seem pointless, but comes together nicely in the end. I would say i would probably need a second viewing to let it sink in.
(Worth watching) - review by VINCE
I will start off by saying 'yes', it is quite a slow film, but i enjoyed it. It has a dark, eerie atmosphere all the way through, the more intense scenes build nicely and the characters are engaging (thanks to decent acting).
While it won't be everyones cup of tea, it does build up to quite a nice finale.
(Worth watching) - review by VINCE
I thoroughly enjoyed this film. I went in with very low expectations and came out being glad i took the time to watch it. Some excellent effects, especially with the 'surrogates'. A simple enough plot to follow, fast paced, decent action sequences. If Minority Report/I, Robot are your cup of tea, this should be too.

An intense mind bending film. Just when you think you've got all the answers something changes, and you have it wrong, or do you?
An incredibly thought provoking film drenched with chilling atmosphere and dread. Scorsese is at his best here, the acting is amazing, the music puts you on edge and the overall feel of the film leaves you feeling unnerved. Make sure you're wide awake for this one, if you miss something, it could throw you right out.

Not one of my favourite Disney classics, but its still up there with the rest of them. The standout scene for me has always been the magic duel-off between Merlin and Madame Mim, a very creative scene that only Disney could pull off. For a film that is 47 years old it still is entertaining, if not a little slow in parts. A great film for all ages and Disney fans alike.

What an incredibly real, funny, touching film. As the owner of a 7 month old Golden Retriever, i found this movie all too easy to relate to. Owen and Jennifer are great in the film, its fun to watch from start to end. Of course will all dog films, there are a few tears in the end. Anyone who has ever owned a dog will LOVE this film. Its a must see.

I can't remember reading the book growing up, but when i heard that they were adapting it to film and that it was going to be filmed in Victoria i couldn't wait to see it. The story itself seems a little adult, i would imagine some kids would get bored. However the 'wild things' are extremely well created and amusing to watch. I like Spike Jonze's directing and think it adds to the otherworldly story and landscapes. A great film.

It's not your typical 'Prince saves the Princess' Disney animated feature, The Black Cauldron is a much darker tale of a horned king searching for the cursed black cauldron to raise his army of the dead. Enter Taran and his sidekicks who are trying to destroy the cauldron before the evil King reaches it. Animation is great as you'd expect, very young children may be frightened of the dark undertones, but if you're a fan of all Disney animations, you won't be disappointed. Just don't think light & fluffy.

This would have to be the ultimate Horredy (Horror/Comedy) movie ever made. The film is now 26 years old but its still as fresh and as fun to watch as it was back then. Highly original and ahead of its time, Gremlins is fast paced, features great acting and some tongue-in-cheek dark humour. If you've never seen Gremlins before, nows your chance to see it in Hi-Def Blu-ray.

A great film. If you like Doco style movies, (Paranormal Activity, The Blair Witch Project etc.) then you'll enjoy this.
Its very realistic, great acting, some intense scenes. Its very original and fresh take on the alien abduction genre. They've gone to a lot of trouble to make the viewer believe its based on actual events.

Some would say Dumbo is the ultimate Disney classic, and i would agree with them. A very touching, heart-warming story of a baby elephant separated from his mother, who finds a friend in the smallest of creatures. Its impossible not to feel touched by the films loving story. I still get freaked out by the 'Pink Elephants on Parade' scene though.

Well i thought it was an OK movie. I'd never really watched the cartoon series as a child so didn't know too much about the story. But the film is rather easy to follow and friendly for all ages. The animation is TV show quality, definitely nothing ground breaking. But the actors voicing the characters do a great job.

Love this movie. Disney???Pixar can do no wrong in my eyes. The story is touching, the animation is flawless, the colours look amazing on Blu-ray. Some smaller kids may get a little bored through some scenes, but adults will appreciate it as a whole. Some very funny scenes will keep you entertained. A highly original well made film by the masters of CG Animation.

Was this film really necessary considering Eric Bana's version was released only 5 years earlier, no not really. There's nothing new with this version, except for the cast. The Hulk gets angry and smashes things, blah blah blah. There really isn't anyway you can make a Hulk movie original, this is a perfect example of that.

If you liked NATM you'll love NATM2. The sequel is on a much grander scale, more characters, more action and more laughs. While it lacks the originality from the first film, the writers have created a great story that everyone can enjoy. Amy Adams is as always perfect in her role of Amelia Earhart, the first female pilot to fly across the Atlantic.

Look, if you're looking for another 'Shaun of the Dead', you won't find it here. While some scenes are funny, for the most part its a little boring and tedious. This is seriously a messed up movie. I watched it out of sheer curiosity, and now wish i hadn't. The mental images and the macabre series of events will stick with you for a while. I myself had doubts about this movie as i had heard it was slow and not interesting.
However I was pleasantly surprised, it's a thought provoking gripping drama set in the 60's. The acting is superb, Meryl Streep as always draws you in from the very moment she appears on screen. Adams and Seymour-Hoffman also play their characters well with such innocence and sincerity. A highly recommended film.

An awesome modern day Godzilla. Made in such a unique way, Cloverfield draws you in from the first second. The special effects are fantastic, the film is dark and intense and the ad-lib style acting works well. A very welcoming change to the MONSTER VS CITY genre.

Probably one of the better films of this genre, but as usual, the film is let down by its disappointing ending.
Some scenes are quite chilling, some mediocre, but not at all scary. The acting is good, but if you've seen one haunted house film, you've seen them all. Moving shadows, reflections in mirrors, flashing images blah blah blah.

It was OK. Great action sequences but a little overrated. It is an original unique take on the superhero genre, but i just felt it didn't go anywhere. A lot of the scenes in the film seem a little pointless, but fun at the same time. Fans of comic books turned movie will enjoy Kick-Ass.

A really weird, strange family film about nothing that doesn't really go anywhere. Its just 90 minutes of special effects and gags created around this magical wishing rock. The film is split up into 5 'shorts' getting 5 different points of view of the wishing rocks misgivings.

Angels & Demons is big step up from The Da Vinci Code in a lot of ways. This is a lot more fast paced, there is more action, its easier to follow and is more intense. I was a little hesitant to watch it after seeing the first film, but i was pleasantly surprised.

Ok, definitely the worst 'Friday' film. Just imagine, Jason meets Carrie, and you have Part VII. Thats right, a girl with the ability to move objects with her mind bring Jason back from the dead. Who needs weapons to defend yourself when you can use your mind to throw a couch across the room. Stupid.

Not bad, by this point all the 'Friday' films start to blend into each other. This one is better than Part V at least. This is the first time we see supernatural Jason, an indestructible zombie. Nothing really original though, but worth a watch if you're a fan.

It was just OK. It could have been a promising film, but was badly let down by its ending. The events in the film are never explained, so we are just expected to except it for what it is. If you like films where all the loose ends are nicely tied together, this isn't for you.

Quite a touching film. Very sad yet magical at the same time. Acting is superb, the scenes in heaven look unreal, very mystical. Some on-the edge-of-your-seat moments, but some slower scenes will have you looking at your watch. Not the type of film i'd expect from Peter Jackson, but a great film non-the-less.

I liked it. Drew Barrymore's directorial debut is a fun, grungy girl power flick. Acting is great, the story is not so original, but i loved watching the Roller Derby scenes. Ellen Page (as always) is great in the film, as is Kristen Wiig and Juliette Lewis. A great pizza film.

It was Okay. Don't know what all the fuss was about. Some parts are funny, i think Katherine is a bad actress and i CANNOT stand Seth Rogen who just seems to shout every line, which is usually just #$%^ and @#%. It had some nice moments, but definitely feel wasted with this one. YAWN!

I liked it. It had a raw edge to it that no other animated film will go near.
Its a Tim Burton produced, post apocalyptic war film about a race of little burlap creatures fighting for survival against the machines who have taken over and destroyed the planet. A great ensemble of voice actors, beautifully animated scenes. A must see for those who have seen the original short film '9' and for Tim Burton fans who like their films a little off centre.

FInally a decent vampire film worth watching. Financed by Film Australia and made in Australia with a 70% Australian cast, Daybreakers is a drop of fresh blood in this genre. Wasn't sure if i was going to like this one or not. But i was impressed. A great prequel to the X-Men films. Quite a few Aussie actors appear in the film as it was filmed in Australia by an Australian.

Definitely not as funny as i thought it would be. It has the odd chuckle moments, but they are far and few between. I felt like i had seen it before in the version of say, Liar Liar, another Carrey flick. Its OK for a once of view, but i certainly wouldn't feel the need to watch it again.

Another Disney classic. I don't think i'd seen Sleeping Beauty since i was about 10. It brings back so many memories. You really understand so much more watching it as an adult. The colour and animation looks so rich on Blu-ray. A must have for any Disney fans collection.

Hmmm, no where near as exciting as the trailer led to believe. So so acting, so many plot holes i could see right through it. The only plus is that the SFX were pretty good. The ending will leave you saying "what was the point of all this?"

I must admit i enjoyed this more the second time around. I was disappointed when i saw this at the movies as i thought i was going to see "one of the scariest movies ever" as they advertised, but didn't. At least on DVD/Blu-ray you can rewind scenes and catch things you may have missed. One problem is that just when tension is building during the night scenes, it cuts straights to daytime. There is too much nothing between the paranormal activity scenes.

I loved it. Disney has certainly hit all the right notes with this one. Beautifully hand drawn animation, a touching story, catchy songs, fun characters. Everything you would come to expect from a classic Disney animation is all here. If you're a Disney fan at heart like me, i highly recommend this one.

A very deep, heavy film. If you're in the mood for something light and fluffy, look elsewhere.
The entire cast of Precious are just amazing, Mo'Nique very much deserved her Oscar. Mariah Carey, Paula Patton and Gabourey Sidibe are exceptional in their roles. This is the type of film that makes you appreciate all of life's pleasures and reminds you not to take anything for granted. This film is a great emotional ride.

Will it ever end?. Most sequels in the horror genre tend to get more and more tedious, each SAW sequel however, including VI seems to get stronger. Although its a case of seen it all before, they're all very well made and cleverly recreate themselves plot wise. Some pretty harsh scenes to watch but if you've seen one SAW film, you know what to expect.

Its different. You do spend the about 100 minutes asking, what the hell is going on here? The very detailed yet surreal plot slowly unravels its mysteries as to who the 'nines' are and what their purpose is on earth. It is a little confusing and i guess you can interpret it in many different ways. I wouldn't say i loved it, but it did have me guessing until the very end.

SPOILERS: It was OK. Definitely not as good as the other sequels. It doesn't even have Jason in it, just some guy pretending to be Jason killing teens at a half-way-house. It was a lame excuse for a sequel, however for its time, the plot was rather creative.

Hmmm, it was just OK. Not what i thought it was going to be. I was hoping for more of a psychological/supernatural thriller, but ended up watching a movie with some lame thrills. It does have some chilling atmosphere though which makes up for its dragging storyline. Wouldn't watch it again.

What an absolute load of garbage. I 100% regret hiring this film and 'wish' i could get my 90 minutes back. Its completely boring and not even worth the disc its printed on. Do yourself a favour and turn away now. This movie is destined to disappoint.
(Don't bother!) - review by VINCE
Its an OK quick buck horror film. It has dated quite a lot in 13 years compared to some horror classics. Probably the better of the 4 'Wishmaster' films as the others are just DTV copies. Some fun moments and some VERY cheesy dialogue make it an alright horror film.
(Don't bother!) - review by VINCE
Excellent animation, but couldn't really get into the story. It was a bit slow and wasn't very interesting. Its just a whole bunch of random stuff thrown into one movie; rats, mice, soup and a princess.

An excellent film. Eastwood and Jolie work amazingly together. Acting is superb by all. Its surprising Jolie never won an Oscar for her performance and its even more surprising that it was never nominated for best picture or best director. The story is gripping and heartbreaking taking you through every emotion before the closing credits. A film i found very hard to fault.
(Excellent) - review by VINCE
It wasn't bad. I enjoyed it for what it was. I only watched the Unrated version, i can see how some things may have been cut form the theatrical version. Had some good laughs, but its more of a feel good comedy than a toilet humour type comedy.

I really liked it. Its original and the SFX were great. Acting was pretty alright, the story flows along nicely and theres your fare share of action sequences. A lot better than i thought it was going to be.

It was good, i liked it. A light-hearted warming comedy from the writer of Jurassic Park, M:I, Death Becomes Her. If you're a fan of Gervais you will surely like this too. All actors are great, especially Kristin Wiig's cameo for all her SNL fans. A movie you can sit and relax to without thinking too much.

What a great movie. I've heard from so many people say what a great film it is but had no intention of seeing it. I finally decided to watch it and im glad i did. Its a heartfelt warming story that i found hard to fault.

It wasn't bad. Not as great as what all the hype had made it out to be. Story was gripping, the acting was good in parts, i just didn't feel convinced by the ending, the daughter seemed too happy considering what she had just been through. Its a good film, not a great film.
(Worth watching) - review by VINCE
What a great highly original film. I loved every second of it. Animation is fantastic, the colours are great. The story is super fun and creative (based on a book). The actors voicing the characters are fun, especially Mr. T and Anna Farris. Looks great in Blu-ray. A must see.
(Excellent) - review by VINCE
It was OK, nothing special. Its starts off as a great film but kind of looses it towards the end. The main reason i wanted to see it was because it was filmed in Melbourne and all the SFX were created in Melbourne also. Its directed by an Australian, so i don't see why this couldn't have just been an Australian film, set in Melbourne.
(Maybe) - review by VINCE
What an awesome film. SFX are mind blowing, the action sequences are some of the best i've seen in a movie. The plot is pretty engaging and the acting is superb from the all star cast. I now wish i had seen this at the movies. I highly recommend it.
(Excellent) - review by VINCE
I thought the acting was excellent, some scenes were very intriguing. But i felt that it went too long, i lost interest towards the end of the film as it started to repeat itself a little. If it was up to me i would not have given it Best Picture. Not a film id consider watching again.
(Maybe) - review by VINCE
WOW! What a great film. There was so much more to this film than i realised. They've really created a realistic doco style movie that is very believable. The SFX are amazing, the impromptu acting is well done and the story is highly original. A film i'd enjoy watching a few times more.
(Excellent) - review by VINCE
I thought this was great. Jerry Seinfeld is great as Barry B. Benson, the humble Honey Bee and Renee Zellweger as Vanessa his new human friend. The story is fun and the colours looks stunning in Blu-ray, one of Dreamworks better animated features. A fun family film.
(Excellent) - review by VINCE
It was a fun musical. A star studded cast lend their voices to recreate the 1988 film of the same name which then turned into a broadway musical in 2002. Its bright and colourful and theres songs a second. If you don't like musicals, don't bother. For me (not a huge fan of the genre) it was still watchable. John Travolta is great as Mrs. Turnblad.
(Worth watching) - review by VINCE
Hmmmm, it was pretty average. Not as funny as i thought it was going to be. Zac Efron didn't annoy me as much as i thought he was going to. Not something i'd be dying to watch again. I lost a bit of interest towards the end.
(Maybe) - review by VINCE
It's an alright re-imagining of the original classic. The characters are quite one dimensional and extremely annoying. There is too much down time and not enough excitement that we've come to enjoy from the original films. A film you only need to see once, it takes itself too seriously. Stick with the original films.
(Maybe) - review by VINCE
Boring. Just your typical hostage situation, someone angry with the world wants Money. The film never really goes anywhere and feels like it never progresses. Acting is nothing great and the plot is 'seen it all before'. Think Speed, but on a train, with a boring ending.
(Maybe) - review by VINCE
Below average film. Some scenes were entertaining, but acting was pretty amateur, SFX were pretty poor. This didn't do too well at the movies, and now i can kind of see why. Not something id need to see again. Then again, im not 5 years old.

Firstly, if you're sensitive to motion sickness, flashing strobe effects, graphic violence and horrific sex scenes this isn't for you. If you can get past this, however hard it may be (I'm still getting over the fire extinguisher scene), you will witness a thoroughly engrossing, mind bending experience through a dark and twisted journey where Revenge is the only answer. Its extremely well made and very original, still, its hard to get past the two scenes that this movie is famous for. The acting on the other hand is A+.
(Excellent) - review by VINCE
A great fast paced action filled addition to the Terminator franchise. Special effects as you would imagine are fantastic, the acting is a little one sided and I'm starting to think Sam Worthington is a one dimensional actor. Was a little confusing in the beginning but soon caught on quickly. A good watch.

3 Words: Boring, Predictable, Unoriginal.
I should have known better than to hire this one out. The only good thing about it is the cover.

It was OK, nothing special. No ground breaking animation or clever story, but it is somewhat entertaining with some laughs. Shia LaBeouf really irritates me so to have him as the lead turned me off a little. Not something i'd want to watch again, but it was enjoyable.
(Worth watching) - review by VINCE
I don't really remember this movie being so bad. It has aged horribly, if you consider it was made the same year as Jurassic Park. It really has nothing to do with the games, other than the fact that there are a few characters named after the video characters. This was the first game to film creation and i think its given them all a bad name.
(Don't bother!) - review by VINCE
What a powerful deep movie. I can see how it could be disturbing for most viewers, i too felt a little a little uncomfortable in certain scenes, but the whole film has been made in a very artistic way and is in no way distasteful. The dark seedy undertones engulf the film and its hard to escape the blackness once its over. A very effective film.

An excellent film. I think the special effects far outweigh the story line which is quite slow. On my second viewing i found myself looking at the watch. It is however visually amazing, the colours and deep landscapes will looks amazing in Blu-ray. If you missed it at the movies this is your chance to visit Pandora in all its glory.

Its definitely camp. A lot more outrageous than the first film, but not as good. The same 4 gay pals reunite for a 'Gays Gone Wild' weekend in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. Expect lots of male nudity, camp music, drag queens and sex. Its camp-a-licious. What else do you want?
(Don't bother!) - review by VINCE
This is pretty good for a horror sequel. Usually a sequel to a horror film can be unbearable to watch. It keeps in theme with the first film, silly teens, intense music, the dark and foreboding camp grounds. I've haven't seen the others, but i hope they're also as good. But i won't hold my breath.

I really liked this film. From the very beginning it draws you in until the very end. Acting is good, story is great and keeps you on the edge of your seat. I felt the end was a bit of a cop out though, i could think of a much better ending. I was disappointed that the fires in the hills storyline didn't go anywhere. Oh well, still a great movie.

I thought it was OK. Much better than the first in my opinion. I always feel that if I'm going to watch a superhero action flick it needs to be totally over the top and SFX galore. This doesn't disappoint. If you want Oscar winning acting and an intricate plot, look elsewhere. Looks nice on Blu-ray too.
(Worth watching) - review by VINCE
I thought this movie was great. The SFX were amazing, the Guinea Pigs looked very real and the action sequences were pretty fun too. A movie anyone of any age will enjoy, especially fans of Disney.

Such a classic Disney animated film thats still as magical today as it was 70 years ago. It brings back so many memories of being a young boy watching this. It looks fantastic in Blu-ray and should be watched with the Disney View feature (for widescreen TVs). The animation, the characters, the colours and the music make it a classic that will live on forever.
(Not to be missed!) - review by VINCE
It was pretty good, its not as gory as you may think so you don't have to worry. I guess in a way though, this movie would have to be like Hostel meets The Matrix (without the giant machines). What is reality?, etc. It does get a bit mind bending towards the end as too many twists are thrown at us, it could have been kept more simple. Not a bad movie though.
(Worth watching) - review by VINCE
WOW!, this is one weird movie. Its directed by Richard Kelly, the mastermind behind Donnie Darko. Its quite confusing, what starts out to be a pretty straight forward movie takes a dramatic turn into the unknown. It will leave you thinking 'uhhhh, what the?'. It's dramatic, dark, creepy and plain bazaar. Its extremely clever though. Worth the watch.
(Worth watching) - review by VINCE
Unfortunately this didn't get a cinema release here in Australia and im surprised it didn't, it would have done well here. While some scenes are totally unbelievable, most of the film is pretty dark and twisted. Its gory and is bursting with black comedy. Fox's acting leaves nothing to be desired, but as always Seyfried steals the show. A fun film for a Saturday night.
(Worth watching) - review by VINCE
While its not the best of the FD series, it certainly lives up to the FD hype that has been created with its 3 predecessors. I saw it in 3D and actually think it cheapened the experience a little. The acting as you can guess is way below average, but the infamous FD kills are as gory and creative as ever. Its a little rushed and over before you know it, but its a fun, silly film. If you like that sort of thing.

Mmeh, it was ok. Nothing spectacular, a little slow in places and not much going on. The actions scenes were few and far between. Acting of course was great by Johnny and Marion. Not something id be dying to watch again.

This was a pretty alright film. Not a big of a spectacle as i thought it was going to be, but it was well acted and the special effects were pretty good too. I would like to have seen more fantasy elements though. If you like this im sure you'll like Stardust.
(Worth watching) - review by VINCE
It was Ho-Hum, nothing spectacular. The acting left little to be desired, the characters weren't believable and seemed forced. The effects were pretty original and creative but the plot didn't really seem to go anywhere. It seemed to me like the writers were stuck on repeat and didn't know how to get themselves out. It was a weak ending.

One word. BORING! I fast forwarded the last hour because i was completely over it by then. Its pretty much the same scene over and over. Some of the SFX were ok, but i wouldn't waste my time on it again.
(Don't bother!) - review by VINCE
Hmmm, its pretty average. The acting is pretty bad, the plot is laughable, but the special effects, make-up effects and the set is pretty impressive. Its like watching a long video clip. Its edited with quick sharp shots, flashes and glimpses of ghosts. Apart from that, its pretty blah.
(Maybe) - review by VINCE
I quite liked it, better than i thought it was going to be. I have never seen the original film so i can't compare it to that. But i thought it was a good sci-fi flick with some great special effects. It has a good message.

This was a good movie, not as great as i thought it was going to be, but it was a decent well acted movie. The girl who plays Esther is amazing, she really gives a great performance. The twist was a nice change, however i kind of guessed it 3/4 through. I'm sure most people will be happy with this film.

It was a good film, i personally didn't like it as much as the first two films, but it was good. The dinosaurs were kind of boring in my opinion and the story lacked a little depth. It was fun however to see two new characters Buck and Scratte.

A great sequel in the Ice Age trilogy. The animation is a lot better, the story is more complex, overall i thought it was slightly more grown up than than the first Ice Age.
This sequel comes 4 years after the first and you can see that the animation technology has come a long way. It looks great in Blu-ray also. I'm looking forward to seeing Ice Age 3.

I really liked it. The story was fun, the acting was great (in a hilarious way), the special effects were pretty up there and it had just the right amount of toilet humour comedy.
It does have more adult themes than children's themes so be careful when showing kids. Besides that it was a great fun film.

This is a great re-imagining of Carpenter's 70's classic (despite what people say). I think the atmosphere is great, the acting is excellent and the back story into Michael's upbringing is quite creative. This is the Directors cut so it has quite a few different and added scenes in it. One of which is quite disturbing. I've yet to see H2 yet, but i if its anything like this film I'm sure it will be quite entertaining.

This is a great 4th instalment to the Indiana Jones series. It has everything you could want in a IJ film, gun fights, laughs, mysteries, car chases, bugs and snakes. True IJ fans may not like it, but i thought it was a good watch. Great acting and special effects also, looks excellent in Blu-ray.
(Worth watching) - review by VINCE
Hmmm, it was pretty average. In fact it was below average, there was too much dialogue and not enough scares. Some of the effects were cool, but it was kind of boring. The Unrated version features an additional 7 seconds, WOW!. A movie that could have ended with a great scare leaves you feeling uninterested and bored.

This is an excellent, heart-warming Australian film. From the director of the animated short 'Harvey Crumpet', Adam Elliot brings two new mis-understood characters to the screen. The dialogue is very sharp and witty, the animation is simple yet extremely engaging and the story itself is very touching, ranging from hilarious to very sad. A great experience for all ages. Looks excellent in Blu-ray also.

This was a great film. It had great action sequences, the right amount of comedy, excellent special effects and looks great in Blu-ray. The extended version adds a few extra scenes which add a little more depth to the Hancock character. A fun film to watch overall.
(Worth watching) - review by VINCE
A great fun family film. Sure the animation is a little basic and inferior to its competition, but it still holds up as a great watch. The characters are funny and likeable (the good ones at least) and the story is simple and heart warming. A great film for all ages.

I gave it two stars for originality. No other christmas movie has been told from Santa's jealous older brothers' point-of-view. While the effects were great and the acting was excellent, the story itself very creative. I just thought it was a little boring, i wouldn't say its a young kids film as most of it would be a bit too mature for them. It wasn't overly funny either. Non-the-less it is another fun family film to watch around the christmas holiday period.
(Maybe) - review by VINCE
First of all, this is called 'Four Christmases', why they changed the title for Australian audiences i don't know. They even went as far as changing the cover art to remove the presents and ribbons. Anyway, this was quite a fun movie. As a huge lover of Christmas i thought it was a different take on a Christmas flick, quite a few laughs, great acting and a great cast make this a great film to watch around the silly season.
(Worth watching) - review by VINCE
I loved this movie. Being a fan of anything Christmas i knew i would love this. I did hold off on seeing it for a while, but after seeing Zemeckis's 'Disney's A Christmas Carol' i knew i had to see this. In perfect timing for Christmas this movie will touch the hearts of everyone who watches. The live capture animation looks fantastic and was also used for Zemeckis's 'Beowulf' and ' A Christmas Carol'. Looks great in Blu-ray.
(Excellent) - review by VINCE
I loved this movie. Being a huge lover of dogs and my first ever pet being a Chihuahua i found it such a funny cute little film. I don't see how anyone could not like it. The effects are great and the voice actors are excellent. Drew Barrymore is amazing as always playing Chloe, the lost Beverly Hills Chihuahua.
(Excellent) - review by VINCE
Hmmm... its definitely the worst out of the 4 Batman films. This, the 4th film in the series is just too cheesy. The acting is a little sloppy and the film itself looks like a colourful music video rather than a Batman flick. No wonder a 5th film in the series wasn't green-lighted.

This was a great film. Quite shocking and very real. After years of knowing about the film, i'm glad i finally got around to watching it. Great acting and amazing cinematography make it a very realistic survival film. Looks sharp and extremely clear in Blu-ray.
(Worth watching) - review by VINCE
If this isn't the weirdest film i've ever seen, i don't know what it. While i didn't hate it entirely, i couldn't help but think 'what the hell am i watching?'. It really has no plot at all, just random people walking around an old mansion being picked off one by one by the 'Funny Man'. Definitely the most bazaar and pointless film i have ever seen.
(Don't bother!) - review by VINCE
Another B-grade horror movie i've always wanted to see and now wish i hadn't. The acting was abysmal, the story was actually boring, the quality of the film isn't anything special. Just another 80's piece of rubbish.
(Don't bother!) - review by VINCE
Just like the original, this movie will shock and disturb you. What turns out to be a routine family vacation goes horribly horribly wrong. Some might say this film goes too far as it's extremely realistic. The film is made up of rape, torture and murder, it is hard to get past all that, but once you do it does become a rather well made film.

I've always seen FT13 in bits and pieces, never having seen the whole thing in one sitting. Now i have and i have to say it is quite enjoyable. The atmosphere, the music and the characters all do their part to make this the cult that it is. Much better than the remake. A must for any horror buff.

I remember seeing this at the video store when i was little and always being fascinated with the cover. Aprox 15+ years later i've finally watched it and can i say, i wish i hadn't. It was pretty bad, the acting is woeful, the script was written by monkeys and i pretty much spent 79 minutes rolling my eyes. I'll be taking Part 2 straight off my list.
(Don't bother!) - review by VINCE
Hadn't seen this one for a while, but remembered liking it. Still like it after all these years. The film is now 12 years old the special effects are still pretty amazing. Some scenes are pretty slow but other than that its a great sci fi / acton flick. Looks great on Blu-ray also.

I liked it, i thought it was much better and much funnier than Borat. Don't get me wrong, i like Borat too. But i think Bruno just had a bit more of a shock factor. Some scenes really will shock you, but you just can't help laughing at it. Its hard to know what scenes are real and which are fake as the Americans all seem so gullibly stupid. A fun watch.
(Excellent) - review by VINCE
This was EXTREMELY Bad with a capital B. It looks and feels like a cheap tele-movie. The acting is so bad, the story is abysmal, the effects are of very poor quality. I would avoid at all costs. Even the 3D version couldn't save this movie.
(Don't bother!) - review by VINCE
Well, what can i say, it was rather mediocre really. Nothing really stood out to me, the animation is no better than say the first Shrek, the story is too similar to Madagascar, the characters are more annoying than endearing. Its a shame, while it was mildly entertaining, i wouldn't be in a hurry to watch it again or to recommend it.

This was a great movie. Loved every bit of it. I think i may have even liked it better than Death Proof (which was also excellent). Its great to see they took two films and turned them into a Grindhouse inspired feature. Planet Terror definitely has lots of action and zombie gore to gross you out. Plus one of the best heroines in a movie, Cherry Darling.

Well i can't believe it took me so long to watch 'Pretty Woman', but i'm glad i did. It was quite funny in scenes and was very entertaining. I now see why so many people see this as a classic. I'm sure most of you have already seen it before, but if you haven't, check it out.

This was a great film. I got it imported from Amazon.com in Blu-ray and let me say it is such a fun film. If you love Halloween themed anything this is a movie for you.
It started out as a 5 minute animated short, now the director has turned his vision into a thrilling 90 minute film intertwining 4 halloween urban legends.
Definitely a fun movie to watch this time of year.

Being a huge fan of 'The Nightmare Before Christmas' i just HAD to see Coraline. I saw it at the cinemas in 3D and while it looked stunning i didn't think it did the book justice (but what film adaptation does?). I now own it on Blu-ray and i have to say after watching it again i really do love it. The intricate details and colours are just stunning. Another masterpiece in the stop-motion category.

LOVED THIS MOVIE! If you're a fan of Sam Raimi's Evil Dead trilogy you will LOVE this movie. It's camp, scary, funny, grusome and shocking. Its the best fun you'll ever have watching a movie. I've ordered my Blu-ray copy. Can't wait to watch it again.

I liked this movie. I can't understand why its always gotten bad reviews, it just goes to show that you should make up your own mind. It doesn't pretend to be anything else, it has dragons, magic and big epic battles. Its fairly easy to follow, the acting is great and the SFX are pretty convincing. If you're a fan of genre i recommend this film to you.

This was a great film. While nothing overly exciting ever happens it does keep your attention as the characters love lives spiral out of control. While the acting seems forced in some scenes i think the writing and characters are very believable. The film is stunning to look at with scenes of Barcelona in the summer, looks great in Blu-ray.

WOW! What a great film. Im starting to become a big fan of Tarantino's work, especially after seeing 'Inglourious Basterds'.
This movie will pull you in and then shock you raw. It has Tarantino's style all over it, from the vintage opening credits to the scratchy appearance of the film. I would like to have seen the full 'Grindhouse' feature, but seeing Death Proof in all its glory is just as pleasing. Highly recommended.

YAWN! ZZZZzzzz! Wow i was so bored i didn't even finish the rest of it. To be honest i don't know why i even selected this film to begin with. Its confusing, slow and the acting is below average, well the first 45 minutes anyway.

This was a fun movie. If you want to watch something light and airy that doesn't involve too much complex thinking, this is for you. Of course you need to be an Adam Sandler fan and trust me, its 10X better than his abysmal 'You Don't Mess with the Zohan'. A great comedy to be enjoyed by anyone of any age.

This was a really touching film. It was funny, it was shocking and it was sad. I would recommend watching it in Chinese with English subtitles because the English dub is very annoying. Im sure you'll fall in love with CJ7, it's very cute. Now for some trivia, 3 of the male characters in the film are actually played by girls. Can you guess who?

It was OK i guess. Not something i would watch a second time. Some scenes were funny. You do genuinely feel sorry for Thurman while his bond with Willie is quite touching in a weird way. Great acting and a decent storyline.

From someone who never saw a single episode of SATC, i have to say it was quite enjoyable. If you've never seen an episode of the TV show, the opening credits fill you in on how the show ended. Acting is great, the fashion is great, the plot is easy to follow even for non show watchers. While i probably won't watch the TV version of SATC, i am looking forward to the sequel.

Batman Returns if by far the best Batman film to have been made to date. It oozes Burton's style from start to finish, from the sets, the costumes and the musical score. Its definitely the most fun to watch. DeVito and Pfeiffer steel the show. A film you can never get sick of watching. Looks brilliant remastered in Blu Ray also.

This was a pretty good film. A great story, excellent acting, a fresh original take on vampires and their struggle to live in the human world. The connection between Oskar and Eli is touching (in a weird way) more so than the characters of Twilight could ever be. Some shocking scenes add to the intensity and darkness of the film.

11 years after it was made i finally decided to watch it, and im glad i did. This is a very clever mix of sci-fi and fantasy intertwined into a very dark thought provoking film. The acting is great and the special effects are very original. It takes a while for the film to start rolling but once its does it becomes an enjoyable ride. I would recommend you watch the Director's Cut.

I liked this film. It felt like 'Jeepers Creepers' meets 'From Dusk Till Dawn'. It had a great cast, great action sequences, and it was nice and bloody. The creatures were truly frightening as you never truly get to see them clearly. I was never bored. A good fun film.
(Worth watching) - review by VINCE
It was pretty awful. Nowhere near as good as Species or Species II. This had very much a low budget feel as did Species III. It was too much talk and not enough alien action. Bad FX too.

I liked it. While it was a little slow i still enjoyed watching it all. It was never boring and the girl on girl fight at the end is well worth the wait. Beyonce does a good job but the award would have to go to Ali Larter, she plays the psychotic temptress brilliantly.

Hmmm, the effects were great. The Sabre Tooth Tigers and Mammoths looked very realistic, but besides from that '10,000 BC' just didn't hold my attention long enough. I was bored towards the end. I suggest you see 'Apocalypto' which is a much better film.

Being a flight attendant myself i thought id give this one a try. It started off pretty OK and seemed to have potential (Snakes on a Plane style), but just got worse as it went along. The effects seemed to get worse as it progressed and just got 'plane' silly in the end. It is a fun/silly watch non-the less.

This was pretty good. Gripping, frightening, suspenseful. I hadn't read the book but id be keen to read it now.
I was thinking this was going to be along the lines of the ' The Descent', but its surprisingly different. Great acting and effects make this a pretty chilling movie. One of the better horror films i've seen in a while. What starts off as a relaxing holiday soon turns to a morbid nightmare.

Let me be the first to say "What a load of rubbish". I don't know why i select these films when i know they're going to be so awful.
Bad acting, sloppy editing and directing, boring plot, cheap effects.
BM1 was alright, BM2 was bad, this is worse. How it got a Blu Ray release i'll never know. AVOID!

Definitely not as good as Batman and Batman Returns, this film almost has a comical feel to it closer to that of the TV series. It is a lot more lighter and brighter than the first two. Im surprised Tim Burton signed on to produce this as its completely different to his two. It is fun to watch however and never boring. Id give it 2.5 if i could.

Sloppy writing made me loose interest towards the end. A film with the word 'Zombedy' in the title is a clear indication its going to be bad. The make-up and special effects are very TV movie. Im surprised this got a DVD release at all. Steer clear of this one.

This was quite enjoyable. Quite a good twist at the end which im sure spawned some of the current films of the genre today. Some scenes are hard to hear (might just be the actors), some scenes do look a little cheap but that adds to the whole atmosphere. This is probably one of the better Zombie films i have seen. Im sure a remake will be in the pipeline sooner or later.

I enjoyed this. Its a heart warming film with a great story and excellent special effects. I can't think of anything to fault it with, it truly is a magical film everyone should see.
(Excellent) - review by VINCE
It was OK i guess. Some scenes were good, some scenes were boring and went on too long. As someone else mentioned it was too long for a film of this genre, 90 minutes would have been ample for what it was. Its two hours of carnage, it does get a bit tiring towards the end.

I liked it. Definitely not as good as Shrek or Shrek 2, but it still had its moments and the animation is as good as the first. I only wish i could say the same about the story. Characters we've all seen before who are getting a little limp on screen don't seem to dazzle like they had done previously. Looks fantastic in Blu Ray though, almost 3D.

I liked it. The atmosphere was chilling, it was fast paced and thrilling at every turn. The acting is great and Danny Boyle's vision makes it a worthwhile film. Im looking forward to seeing '28 Weeks Later', then '28 Months Later' due out in 2011.

This was a great movie. One of the better asian remakes to have come out in a long time.
Acting is superb, the plot will keep you guessing and guessing until the final reveal. Features Australian actress Emily Browning who does a fantastic job. A great film remade from a very confusing Korean film 'A Tale of Two Sisters'.
(Excellent) - review by VINCE
Im one of the very few who find remakes much superior to their originals. In this case, i still feel the same.
Wes Craven's THE still has its shocks and i can believe that for its time it would have been very macabre, but i much prefer the 2006 version. This version just feels incomplete and ends too suddenly. If you haven't seen either, i would suggest you just skip straight to Alexandre Aja's 2006 version. It's much more shocking.

What an absolute let down to a great original. Horrible characters, bad acting, a crazy script that goes no where. Half of the film is flashbacks of the original film, even the dog has it's own flashback. ??? The rest feels more like a Friday the 13th on Elm Street Part 23. I completely lost interest towards the end. Don't bother. Believe me.
(Don't bother!) - review by VINCE
A beautifully crafted film from the master of bazaar, Tim Burton. A fun and gothic story of love, life and 'til death do us part. The stop motion animation is smooth and flawless, the music is mesmerizing, the story is charming, overall a great film. Looks fabulous in Blu Ray also, very crisp and clear.
(Excellent) - review by VINCE
A great heart warming film. I didn't expect it to play out the way it did, it was quite sad. Acting is great, special effects were realistic and fun. A little slow for my liking though, it has more drama than fantasy, but a well made film altogether. A happy ending, but a sad film overall.
(Worth watching) - review by VINCE
Believe all the reviews, this IS as bad as they say. And then some.
How it was given the greenlight to be made no one will ever know.
The actual film itself goes for 67 minutes. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME. You WILL regret it.
(Don't bother!) - review by VINCE
This movie was pretty weak. While it did have its moments, i thought it was a bit of a let down overall. I thought there was too many questions left unanswered and thought it was too rushed. The end was a bit of an anti-climax and could have been much better. Just another haunted house movie you've seen all before.

This is a good film.
While i think its confused as to what genre it wants to belong to; Horror, Thriller, Action or Sci Fi it still holds itself up to be a good watch. Great acting and FX. An interesting story in itself (thanks to King), some may find it confusing with its genre jumps. The ending isn't much of a twist, but it adds to the mystery of the childhood friends to keep you thinking.
(Worth watching) - review by VINCE
This was surprisingly good.
The film is very much split into two genres, the first half is slapstick comedy, the 2nd half is very much dark humour/horror as the 'monster' comes to the screen.
You definitely need to watch the whole movie, not just the first half as the mood completely changes.
Quite gory towards the end as the victims fight for their lives. I would happily watch this again. Make sure you watch after the credits too.

This movie was really enjoyable. I recall watching A + TC when i was younger and this just brought back all the memories.
The story was simple and easy to get into, the chipmunks looked fantastic in Blu Ray, the acting was great. It was just a funny light hearted film viewers of all ages can get into. Im now looking forward to the Squeakquel.
(Excellent) - review by VINCE
I liked this movie. Although its not the kind of genre i would normally watch, it did keep me watching until the very end. Its cleverly written and directed as we see each characters 'vantage point' on the Presidents assassination. Little by little we are given more clues to the puzzle as time rewinds itself.
All in all i thought it was very clever. Looks great in Blu Ray.
(Worth watching) - review by VINCE
I loved this film. Its taken me this long to watch it and I'm glad i did in Blu-Ray format. The quality is outstanding, the colours are beautiful and the movement is extremely smooth.
A great story that everyone can get into that will humour viewers of all ages. Great characters voiced by well known actors give this film a long lasting impression. A film i would watch again.

The original cartoon was long before my time so i didn't know much about it, but i thought this movie was thoroughly enjoyable.
The animal actors were cute, the jokes were simple and funny, the plot was easy to follow. Overall it was very fun to watch. Another Disney film that doesn't fail.
(Excellent) - review by VINCE
Despite reviews and what ive heard of this film, it actually wasnt too bad. It was a lot better than some of the spoof movies you see these days. It actually had laughs in it, and it was surprisingly funny also. Good acting, good special effects and the plot isn't too bad either.
(Worth watching) - review by VINCE
Hmmm, it was OK. Not what i was expecting it to be. Yes its was as horrific and as gory as i hoped but the story just didn't go anywhere. It was a bit of a let down as are most Clive Barker adaptations.
Some chilling scenes though, i enjoyed it while watching, but the more i thought about it afterwards the sillier it became.
I gave it 2/5.

This was pretty lame, i found my mind wandering off onto other things while watching.
Some scenes are funny, but mostly it lacks anything to really keep you in your seat. The story is pretty out there and pretty stupid too, on some levels it works, others, no. Maybe i just wasn't in the right mood while watching.
I gave it 2/5.

This was an enjoyable watch. Of course it wasn't as good as the first which actually felt like a big budget film. This has more of a straight to DVD feel about it.
I liked how it tied in with the first film (you'll see how), the plot is simple enough, acting is great, effects leave little to be desired (unfortunately), but overall a fun film. As a huge fan of anything christmas i found it hard to fault. It is what it is.
I gave it 3/5.

This was highly enjoyable. Very cute and clever. Animation was great and the actors who leant their voices were fantastic. Not just for kids as most adults will find 'Madagascar' also appealing.
I'm looking forward to seeing the sequel.
I gave it 4 out of 5.
(Excellent) - review by VINCE
I thought this was thoroughly entertaining. While it isn't the best Disney/Pixar creation. It certainly is a good watch. Extremely good graphics as you would come to expect from Pixar and a very cute story to go with it.
Its taken me 3 years to watch this and im glad i did, i wouldn't watch it again though.
I gave it 3/5. A good watch.

This was the perfect fantasy film. It had romance, witches, warlocks, evil vs good, villains, creatures etc. I wish they made more films like this.
The screenplay is very well adapted from the novel, the acting is superb, the special effects are very creative and some even shocking.
I would recommend this film to any fan of the genre. I do think it was probably border line on getting an M rating too. One of the better films i've seen in a while.
I gave it 4 out of 5.

This is probably one of the best vampire flicks to have come out in a long time. A great premise for a film, a town in Alaska shrouded in its annual 30 days of darkness is overrun by blood-thirsty vampires.
Just the right amount of blood and gore without being too over-the-top, this film should keep fans of the genre happy.
Filmed entirely in New Zealand the majority of the cast are Australian or New Zealanders as you can hear in some poor American accents, apart from Josh Hartnett.
I gave it 4/5.
(Excellent) - review by VINCE
At World's End is an excellent fast paced action filled film to finish off the 'Pirates' trilogy.
Action sequences are bigger, special effects are more impressive and the story is more creative as all the loose ends are tied off nicely. Acting by everyone is A+ on the direction of Gore Verbinski who is an excellent director. Each of the three films get better and better.
I gave it 4/5.
(Excellent) - review by VINCE
Straight up this is a pretty bad sequel. Sure its much bloodier than the first film, but the story is just laughable and don't get me started on the acting. This is a B-grade horror sequel at its worst. It's a pretty bad excuse for a film, a 'Survivor' like reality show with 6 contestants, set in the middle of no where surrounded by cannibalistic hillbillies, how convenient. Queue pointless nudity and sex scenes.
I gave it 2/5.
(Maybe) - review by VINCE
This is a great sequel to 'Curse of the Black Pearl'. The action sequences are amazing as well as the special effects. The plot moves along nicely and is never slow or boring. Acting of course is excellent as is the musical score. In typical 'Pirates' fashion we are left with an open ending as the hunt for Jack ensues. If you were a fan of the first film you will no doubt love this. I gave this 4/5.
(Excellent) - review by VINCE
Not as good as i remember. The acting is pretty bad, the story is very slow and the quality of the film isn't great either. I have to admit the special effects are OK for its time, nothing ground breaking of course.
If you get bored easily during slow films, just fast forward to exactly 45minutes in. Thats when the crazy stuff starts to happen. It does drag a bit though.
Anyway, i gave it 1/5.

I thought this was a thoroughly enjoyable film. Disney seems to get it right all the time. The characters were funny, the story is fun and the animation if colourful and well made.
A great film that anyone of any age can enjoy.

I thought this was a fantastic film. The characters are great, the story is touching, the animation is fantastic.
Its like a very colourful, weird, vivid dream. A great film people of all ages will enjoy.

The ending will make you smile.
I gave it 4/5.

I thought this was a thoroughly enjoyable film. It had plenty of twists and turns to keep you watching to the very end.
It was nice to see Sandra Bullock in this type of role compared to her usual slapstick romatic/comedy characters.
The story is well thought through even though there is a few plot holes. But besides that i thought it was a good watch.
I gave it 4/5.

A beautifully animated, touching story about love, life and friendship.
I can't remember the last time i had seen Bambi and it was long overdue. It brought back many memories of when i was younger. The colours are fantastic as well as the fun characters that feature throughout the film.
This will always be a classic.
I gave it 5/5.

I thought this film was extremely boring. It gave me no excitement or any reason to keep watching. I left it running in the background as i did other things and still managed to work out the story.
It was too long for what it was and i certainly won't be seeing any sequels.
It just wasn't for me.
I gave it 2 out of 5.

I thought this was a great film.
What starts out quite chilling and mysterious turns out to be quite sad and tragic in the end.
The acting is great, the music is excellently eerie, the darkness really gets to you after a while as you start to feel yourself being lost within the cleverly written story.
I gave it 4 out of 5.
(Excellent) - review by VINCE
Despite the reviews this film got when it was released, its actually not too bad.
Sure you won't find yourself laughing out loud for 90 minutes, but there are quite a few chuckles throughout which should have everyone smiling. Eddie is his usual comedic self as Dave Ming Cheng, set out to save his peoples planet the only way he can.
The story is simple and harmless enough, the acting is great and the FX are also great.
I gave it 3/5 for being fun.

If you've read the books you'll know you'll love the movie.
Its exactly how you read it in your mind, The Cullens, James and Victoria etc etc.
The only downfall is Kristen Stewart she is so flat and one dimensional as Bella Swan. They really could have found someone better.
The writing is great, the plot flows nicely if not a little slow in the beginning. The special effects looks great and you can't help but be mesmerised by the Cullens and the actors who play them.
Here's to New Moon.
I gave it 5/5 even though Kristen Stewart does ruin it.
(Not to be missed!) - review by VINCE
I thought this was a great film.
The characters and voices are fantastic, the CGI is amazing. It looks so real during some scenes. The story is lovely and warm making you really sympathise with the penguins and what they're facing.
I thought it had a really adventurous, exciting moral story that people of all ages can enjoy.
I gave it 4/5.

I wouldn't waste your time with this one.
The dialogue is pretty bad, the acting is so so, the plot is boring and lacklustre.
There is nothing original about this film as yet another Asian remake.
If you're expecting something scary that will make you jump, this isn't it. I actually found myself loosing interest as my mind wondered elsewhere.
I gave it 2 out of 5 because the conclusion was all right i guess.

Look, it was OK. It was entertaining to say the least.
Its not the best horror film i've ever seen, but for an Australian attempt it was pretty good.
Its our version of 'Deliverance' meets 'The Hills Have Eyes'.
Inbred cannibal Tasmanians hunt and torture four unsuspecting tourist on the hunt for the Tasmanian tiger. Its a silly story but the film holds its own. The effects are great and the acting is also pretty up there.
I gave it 3/5 for being well made.

I thought this was very clich?? as yet another Japanese remake.
The acting is the only aspect i can kind of commend. The story was slow, boring and didn't really hold my attention. Too many pieces (excuse the pun) are left unanswered.
The special effects are amateurish overall giving the film a slight cheapness.
If you're after a horror film with lots of suspense and thrills this isn't it. The horror just doesn't work, the scares you can see coming from a mile away.
All of these Japanese remakes all contain the same two elements, girls with long dark hair and water. If you've seen one, you've seen them all.
I gave this 2/5 for having a try.

I think i got 2 minutes and 30 seconds into the film before i realised i was making a BIG mistake in watching this.
It must of had a budget of about .99 cents. I can't believe i wasted one whole selection on this.
Don't say i didn't warn you. If the first 3 minutes turned me off, i can't imagine how bad the rest would have been.
I gave this 0/5 stars!

Clive Barker seems to have a one track mind. Pain equals pleasure, demons, monsters, sex etc etc.
Nightbreed is no exception, its definitely weird and to be honest, not really that good. Some of the makeup effects are great for the different Monsters, the score is fantastic (im a huge Danny Elfman fan), the acting is OK. The story however is a little confusing, the background of the monsters isn't really explained in detail as to how they came about.
I thought it was slightly entertaining, but i wouldn't watch it again.
I gave it 1/5 stars.

This was actually really enjoyable.
I've always had a thing for cheesy horror films that don't take themselves seriously.
The story is quiet creative and the effects are pretty good for its time. Some of the editing and sound effects are pretty lame, but apart from that i thought it was some good fun.
Im sure they could create a great remake from this too.
I gave it 3 out of 5.

I thought this was pretty average. The plot is quite confusing, there is too much going on at the one time.
The jokes are pretty lame. Eddie of course is hilarious, but how many times can he make playing fat people original?
If you want to see the highlights of the film, just watch the trailer. There's not much else to it.
I gave it 2 out of 5.

If you want a movie where Sydney, AU pretends to be 3 different countries all at once, where Australian actors have succumbed to doing REALLY BAD American accents and a plot that's so ridiculous you can't help but laugh and feel sick at the same time, then Feed is for you!
This film could have been really good but unfortunately the production side of things let it down. Australians shouldn't attempt an American accent unless they have a voice coach (you'll know what i mean if you watch this). The editor was clearly aiming for an unsettling feeling but just makes a mess of the scenes. The acting is really bad which isn't helped by those accents. The film is grainy and sound is quite low in places.
An interesting story that would have looked good on paper, but falls horribly short on screen.
I gave it 2/5.

This is an all right film albeit unnecessary. The SAW franchise is now more about how to kill someone in a gruesome fashion rather than having an intriguing shocking plot.
The twists at the end are starting to get a little predictable and the traps are just getting stupid now.
Its watch-able but confusing in some scenes regarding some characters.
I give it 3/5 stars.
(Worth watching) - review by VINCE
Wow! What can i say? They sure got the Disaster bit right.
This would have to be one of the most pathetic excuses for a comedy I've ever seen.
The actors are annoying and very amateur, the plot is complete trash, the effects are horrible and the spoof characters/scenes just aren't funny.
Its like the creators wanted to cram in as many spoofs as possible.
I wouldn't bother if i were you. If you do, don't say i didn't warn you.
This doesn't deserve any stars.
(Don't bother!) - review by VINCE
This was really disappointing. It was boring, nothing interesting really happens apart from a few trucks driving around.
I would like to have seen a lot more electrical goods coming alive to cause havoc but no!, just trucks.
It ends abruptly and leaves plenty of plot holes. It all makes sense though when you realise it was directed by STEPHEN KING.
I wouldn't bother if i were you.
I gave it 1/5 stars.
(Don't bother!) - review by VINCE
Its OK, it gets a little confusing towards the end as SAW III and SAW IV kind of become the same film. I think i understood it but it takes a few screenings to pick it up.
It wasn't really necessary to make this film, they should have stopped at the first film, but they insist on making them and we keep on watching them. The death traps are interesting and there is definitely lots of blood.
Lets just hope they stop at SAW VI.
I gave it 3/5.

Well, wasn't this a strange little piece.
I didn't mind this film, it certainly is weird and does the trick in shocking its audience.
A little slow in the beginning, it soon turns into a horrific sexual release as Dawn discovers her little secret.
Acting is good, writing is good, overall a very bazaar film.
I give it 3/5.

I give this a 4/5 because it truly is a great terror film.
I say terror and not horror because it truly is terrifying. Its very dark, very quiet and you need to look closely in some scenes to see the dark shadows of the strangers lurking in the background.
The acting is great and every scene in the film is filled with lurid suspense.
Kind of similar to Funny Games in a way, but much better.
Any fan of the genre should see this.
(Excellent) - review by VINCE
I thought this was ok.
It wasn't the funniest film I've ever seen and Ashton Kutcher really bugs me. But saying that, it was watch-able. There were some funny moments in the film even though the plot is totally predictable.
Its not Cameron Diaz's best, but she does hold her own.
I give it 3/5 for being funny but predictable.

You know for a really D-grade horror film, its enjoyable.
The plot and characters are so ridiculous, the editing is shotty, the acting is so bad its good and there is a crazy amount of blood and gore that makes this film a winner in my eyes.
Some horror films take themselves too seriously, this film does the complete opposite and it works.
I give it 3/5.

This is definitely not one of Sandler's best. While there are some funny moments, its just mainly stupid and quite boring to be honest.
I don't know how it was given the green light in the first place. It took me three different sittings to get through it once. Thats how uninterested i was.
I give it 2/5 for its less than many funny scenes.

I didn't even watch it all. Maybe the first 30mins.
It was slow, sloppy, boring and its in French. I don't want to step on any toes, but a French-Comedy is an oxymoron.
Although the plot did have some originality that could have gone somewhere, unfortunately the bad directing, lighting and acting let it down.
I don't feel any need to watch the rest of it.
I gave it 1/5.

I thought this was a great film.
As a fan of 'The Girls Next Door' i knew id love it.
Anna Faris is a great comedic actor and brings some very funny scenes to the film. There are some great supporting actors in the film also who play the Zeta sisters.
Definitely a no brainer film, its a great way to fill in 90 minutes if nothing else to do.
Hugh Hefner and his three ex-girlfriends Holly, Bridget and Kendra also make some cameos throughout the Playboy Mansion.
I gave it 4/5 bunnies.
(Excellent) - review by VINCE
Definitely not as good as the first two films.
I didn't feel like i was watching a movie that was supposed to be apart of The Mummy series. This felt like a stand-alone film that happened to have Brenan Fraser in it. I could have been watching 'Journey to the Centre of the Earth' for all i knew.
Some effects were ok, but definitely no where near as interesting or as exciting as the first two. An alright film on a rainy day.
Rachel Weisz may have helped this film if she had of returned.
I give it 2/5 stars.

Wall - e is a fantastic film.
Everyone no matter what age will enjoy it. Its sad, its funny, it has action and romance. Disney / Pixar have really outdone themselves on this one. The CGI is absolutely amazing as well as the sound effects.

What can i say about this film?
Its well made, yes, its extremely well acted, yes. But is it enjoyable to watch? No. 'Funny Games' would have to be one of the most twisted, shocking and sick films i have ever seen. Its so morbid and dark that its impossible to view as entertaining.
This film was created to shock and disturb its audience, and trust me, it does exactly that.
A shot by shot remake of an Austrian film from the same Director, under the same name.

I thought this was dull and boring. Its very slow and didn't hold my attention long enough.
I found myself forwarding the end just to speed it up.
There is nothing 'horror' about this film at all so don't let that fool you.
The end however was interesting, but it took too long to get there and wasn't worth the 90 minute lead-up.
I give it 1/5 for being to darn boring.

Ok, this really is bad.
They really should have stopped at Psycho II.
The story itself contradicts events and stories from the original. The acting is bad, nothing really happens at all and it doesn't make sense.

A classic dark tale of vengeance.
When Ed Harley loses his little boy in a motorcycle accident caused by some teenager out of towners, he looks into his past and remembers the night when he was a little boy, when he saw 'Pumpkinhead'.
He then uses the help of an old witch to summon Pumkinhead onto the teenagers to seek his revenge, after which he soon regrets.
A very eerie, dark tale that is also quite dramatic.
I give it 3/5.

I really liked this movie. Just having been to Disneyland it was great to watch something that was 100% disney.
Elements from all the classic Disney animated films are combined into this animated / live action film which really is fun to watch.
Theres the princess, the prince, the witch, the evil step-mother, magic, dancing, singing. It has everything everyone of every age will love about this film.
I give it 4/5 stars.

Ok.. well.. this was rather strange.
A low budget 80's English Horror about a small town who celebrate the slaying of the White Worm (a large snake).
But an ancestor of the snake (in human form) will stop at nothing to bring it back to cause havoc once again.
Its very low budget, the dream / unconcious sequences are laughably bad, but somehow it comes together as a rather watchable film if not slow in parts.
I wouldn't feel the need to watch it twice though.
I give it 3/5.

This is a really interesting movie. Psychological thriller meets bazaar horror as Jacob Singer (Robbins) meets the effects of 'BZ', a mind altering hallucinogenic that changes his future for ever.
Well acted, some truly frightening scenes and monsters and an overall eerie atmosphere that will keep you thinking for days.
The 2nd half is a little slower, but overall its a great film.
I give it 4/5.

Well this was some weird movie. Its quite short and just ends abruptly.
Acting is so so, not much really happens, story is all over the place. Characters just appear and then disappear.
In saying that though, it was ok to watch, was never boring and was interesting to see what would happen next.
I don't think i would watch it again though.

This movie was pretty boring. The story didn't really go anywhere at all.

This is one weird film. Weird in a good way that is. It's dark, creepy, very well acted and the 'dead' scenes are very eerie.
Schumacher has done a really good job at creating a chilling atmosphere from start to finish that just sticks with you. Some lines aren't meant to be crossed. I give it 4/5 stars.

To me this film was the perfect mix of Horror and Black Comedy. You actually find yourself laughing at parts of this movie where you normally wouldn't laugh in a straight horror film.
This film knows not to take itself too seriously and it works.
I liked it a lot more than Ii thought I would.

Ok, I didn't like this like I thought I would. It was pretty bad, there were too many holes left unanswered. A character who appears throughout the film but you never find out who he is or what his intentions are. It was just a sloppy film. You've gotta love the low budget dubbing though. I give it 1 star.

I remember seeing this years ago when I was young. It's not as fun as it was back then, maybe because I take film production more seriously now. Acting is bad, lighting is bad, sound quality is bad. Some things are never really explained either. Its kind of a 'figure it out for yourself' film.
Again, another Stephen King adaptation that doesn't deliver like the story.
I give it 2/5.

I'm sure this movie has a cult following and I can see why.
Of course its 100% cheese and over-the-top. But I think that's why its so entertaining.
It starts off slow and doesn't seem to go anywhere at first, but it does get better and the end is definitely memorable. Its just plain weird.
I give it 4/5 stars.

This was a little odd not neceserally scary either. The first story is quite good, the third was kind of boring. But the best of course is the last one starring little Drew. For its time, the effects of the last story are really well done. Not something I'd watch again, but at least I can say Ii've seen it.
I gave it 3/5 stars for not having enough punch.

I really enjoyed this film. It was like a combination of the first two also.
I did much prefer it to Apocalypse though, this seemed more like Resident Evil.
Acting is so so unfortunately, Ashanti really shouldn't act and Ali Larter doesn't really impress me much either.
Effects are great and of course Milla slices up some Zombie action as our favourite gun slinging hero Alice. The start of the film is memorable too.
I give it 4/5.

I actually saw the remake before the original and after seeing the 2006 version first, I much prefer it to this. This was good, but I couldn't help comparing the two. Maybe if I had seen this first I would think differently about it.
In this, the '74 version, you never find out who the killer is or what his motives are. In the remake, they create a whole new story as to who the killer is and what his motives are etc. I thought it was a bit slow, but it did have its chilling moments.
I give it 3/5.

I think after Hellraiser II the creators tried to get all fancy with IV, V and VI. It doesn't really work for the franchise as they slowly start replacing gore with cheesy dialogue and complicated story lines compared to the first two.
This was ok but not as good as the original, but is definitely better than V and VI.
Also pinhead looks different and new demon Angelique was interesting to watch.
I gave it 2/5.

This film is very much tongue-in-cheek of the first film.
It certainly doesn't take itself seriously and is almost a spoof of Gremlins.
Original cast are back including Gizmo and a new batch of Gremlins.
This time the Gremlins invade a high tech New York City building causing absolute mayhem.
What would happen if a Gremlin drank a brain serum? or an Arachnid serum?... watch and find out.
I give it 4/5 because its simple and its fun.

I was intrigued by this film just by what others had said.
My expectations had lived up to their reviews.
A very dark, gritty black comedy thriller (if you will), a take on the old story 'Little Red Riding Hood'.
Little Red (Vanessa, played by Witherspoon) is on Freeway ride of her life as she tries to leave everything behind her in search for her Grandmother. On the way she runs into Mr. Wolferton (Sutherland) who she befriends, seeking the comfort and guidance she's been craving for.
But he has other plans in store for her, unfortunately 'Bob' has bitten off more than he can chew and Vanessa doesn't turn out to be so helpless after all.
A wolf and girl chase ensues as the battle to reach grandma starts to take a very nasty turn.
I give it 4/5 "My what big teeth you have."

I loved this movie.
I've always been a fan of CGI films and only ever thought that Disney Pixar could do them well, apart from Shrek.
But this was really good, it was funny, it was very colourful and had a great story for all ages. A person is a person, no matter how small they are.
Carey and Carrell are great as the two main characters.
Everyone should love this film.
I give it 4/5 specks on a flower.

This was a great family film.
At first I didn't think I was getting into it, but before I knew it, the film was over and I had loved every bit of it.
The animation is fantastic and the voice actors are great also, although sometimes hard to understand.
I recommend it to all the Disney Pixar lovers out there.
I give it 4/5.

This film would have been better if it didn't have 'Hellraiser' in the title. I think it would have worked better as a stand alone film. Of course with the obvious characters changed.
Its not what I expected from the Hellraiser franchise, although similar to Hellraiser V, it still doesn't have the creepy dark atmosphere that I, II and III all have.
Pinhead appears for a total of aprox. 5 mins, and the Lament Configuration even less.
I was hoping for more 'pleasure' as Pinhead puts it, the twist and story itself was really imaginative, but as I said before, it would have worked better without Pinhead, and without the 'Hellraiser' attached to it.
I give it 3/5, wish I could give it more.

Hmmm... dont know about this one. I didn't really get into it.
Left me feeling kind of weird.
Acting was ok, it was badly edited, too many scenes feel like they were cut short.
It does though live up to the franchise, lots of blood and gore.

I've known about 'The Evil Dead' for years but never made the effort to see it until now.
The Evil Dead certainly has a creepy feel to it thanks to Sam Raimi's direction, cinematography, location, and the low-budget but gory effects.
Some may laugh at the make-up and cheap effects, but for an extremely low budget film it kind of works.
Its like they knew the make-up looked cheap, so they just added more blood to hide it.
Ill now have to see what 'The Evil Dead 2' is like.
I give this 3/5 zombie demons.

Only giving it 3 because it was pretty slow.
The dream sequences were well done, the acting was great and wasn't exactly what i was expecting it to be.
From the cover i thought it was a vampire flick. Its completely the opposite, its about a voodoo powder that can make someone appear to be dead right down to having no pulse, even though one still has all their senses. They can hear, see and feel everything, but appear to be dead.
What would you do if you woke up 6ft under?
I give this little thriller 3/5 zombies.

Being a fan of horror you can't expect too much these days. There are so many low budget cheap thrill movies out there that bring down the Horror genre.
Black Xmas on the other hand, was really enjoyable. If you love Horror and Christmas, this is a match made in heaven.
The acting is so so, but the gore is there and it certainly keeps you watching until the very end.
This is the UK version which has a different ending and different various scenes to the US version.
This is the only place you're going to see movie unless you purchase from an international store as it has never been released in Australia. It may never be.
4/5 jingle bells for the campy gore factor with a touch of mistletoe.
