This was a pleasant surprise not knowing a lot of the cast except for Damian Lewis I took a chance and am quite glad I did, with heaps of laughs along the way, I found it better than the last two reviews and at least worthy of a watch.

The Underbelly series just gets better with every offering with a great story (you can't get better than real life) and great acting bring on the next installment.

Sad sad story even more sad were the thick Scottish accents that made it hard to understand.
Not bad, It's like Lethal Weapon set in a jail.
(Worth watching) - review by John
Not great but watchable, it passes the time.
What an absolutely wonderful movie brilliantly acted by an outstanding cast, very funny and at other times very touching, this really was a "sleeper" it almost got by me. More than worth the effort.
(Not to be missed!) - review by John
Extremely intense right the way through, a very demanding film.
(Excellent) - review by John
Sad story of a sad man, Sean Penn really has turned into a fine actor and with Don Cheadle and Jack Thompson this is a fine offering it's just a pity he did'n't get to tricky dicky (save for the innocent lives that would have also been lost) it would have done the world a favor.
(Excellent) - review by John
Massive shoot 'em up the body count is unbelievable still not that bad a flick
(Worth watching) - review by John
As a sequel not at all that bad, but the car chase was a bit over done for a learner driver?
(Worth watching) - review by John
I had the pleasure of seeing Springsteen & The E Street Band at Hanging Rock so when I saw this in the library I knew that I had to get it out and get the gang together to relive his magic, this is a jam packed concert best played on a BIG screen and loud, Springsteen is absolutely brilliant.
(Not to be missed!) - review by John
A really good action flick...if knock 'em down shoot 'em up is not your thing then watch something else we all know what we are going to get from Jason Statham, as I said a really good action flick enjoy.
(Excellent) - review by John
Um 10 - 15 minutes in I was confused by the end I was totally confused just couldn't make head nor tails of this.
(Don't bother!) - review by John
Big on action although pretty thin on the story line.
Actually it wasn't all that bad, but it is different.
(Worth watching) - review by John
A tad disappointed in that it didn't exactly concentrate on the experiment itself but turned into a mediocre love story, I listen to a radio show from America called Coast to Coast am with Art Bell & George Noory and they often talk about The Philadelphia Experiment and the after effects so maybe I was expecting something a bit differennt and if you think they stopped experimenting think again and do a search on HAARP ( High Altitude Antenna Research Program), It's not only the Americans but the Russians and Chinese as well that are messing with things they don't fully understand.
A brilliant idea for a movie which I thought was really well done, both parts played by Joesph Gordon-Levitt and Bruce Willis are superb, a great watch.
(Excellent) - review by John
Given that Dolph Lundgren is in it - it really wasn't that bad, would recommend for a quite night in.
(Worth watching) - review by John
What an absolute waste of time...what ever made Alan Dale get involved in this c**p. Have to give it one (star) can't give it any less.
(Don't bother!) - review by John
Great movie with a brilliant performance from Daniel Radcliffe it totally held my attention throughout.
(Not to be missed!) - review by John
Outstanding performance from Will Sasso as Curly he has him down pat, this is one of the better films based on a show from yesteryear and I laughed heartily from start to finish.
(Not to be missed!) - review by John
Move along nothing too see here, and I do mean there is nothing too see - Except for Ving Rhames the rest of the cast have little to do.
(Don't bother!) - review by John
Not brilliant but then again not bad not and as violent as I expected, I have to agree with Harlowe does Gandolfini play anything other than a mobster.
(Worth watching) - review by John
Great piece of history told brilliantly great acting (mainly from an unknown cast) great costumes and scenery, well worth a viewing. If you want to know more about Erzsébet Báthory look her up on wikipedia.
(Excellent) - review by John
Outstanding a great Aussie flick and got everything about the period right also if you grew up in the 60's who can forget the music, absolutely loved it.
(Not to be missed!) - review by John
I've been waiting a long time to see this and I was not disappointed what a great movie with a really great twist to the plot, well worth the effort. Joss Whedon is a genius.
(Excellent) - review by John
Why do they feel the need to make a "prequel" they should have just left the Alien series alone, it answered none of the questions as to where the "Alien" came from in fact it led to more - ah I can see a sequel to the prequel coming on.
I am very disappointed with this.
(Don't bother!) - review by John
Found this very confusing to say the least.
Not a bad offering but I got the sense I was watching "Death Wish" and instead of Charlie Bronson we had Jodie Foster in the lead role and she carries it off really well with strong support from Terrence Howard, well worth the effort.
(Excellent) - review by John
Um not sure what to make of this, but it is different.
A really good show ,I quite liked James Spader as Joel Campbell (makes a difference to Alan Shaw) you forget how good an actor he is and Keanu Reeves rarely makes a bad movie, I can totally recommend this one.
(Excellent) - review by John
I just could'nt get into this movie, it's pretty sad when the trailers in the special features are better that the main feature
(Don't bother!) - review by John
A really good way to spend a couple of hours, I enjoyed it, by the way rather than bagging Kristen Stewart simply don't hire her movies.
(Excellent) - review by John
Not quite the Exorcist but overall not bad, I am not an overly religious in any respect but there is pure evil in this world and some things should not be played with, while I understand that movie makers will take license with “based on a true story” this is still spooky.
(Excellent) - review by John
A little goofy and very ‘8o’s the acting was not really the best by a cast that’s never been heard of again.
(Don't bother!) - review by John
Loved it, anything with De Niro and Thurman has to be good and this was.
(Not to be missed!) - review by John
Absolutly loved it, only a non PC Bear could get away with some of he's antics.
(Not to be missed!) - review by John
Loved both installments of Jack Irish what a great aussie showing.
(Not to be missed!) - review by John
Um what can I say, I fell asleep half way thru
(Don't bother!) - review by John
They say this is the last of the Batman franchise I do hope that's wrong as I love watching the Capped Crusader, although this was not as dark as the previous "The Dark Knight" it is still a pretty good watch, O.K so it's a bit over the top so what it is based on a comic book character after all.
(Excellent) - review by John
Great movie.
(Excellent) - review by John
I feel like I've been conned again the movie itself bore no resmblance to the "offical review above" do they actually watch the dvd or just take thier reviews from other resources, as a movie it was just so so.
(Don't bother!) - review by John
Love it, love it, love it NCIS Los Angeles is just as good as the original NCIS love the by play between the characters but the best thing about hiring the DVD is no annoying adds, I highly recommend this one.
(Not to be missed!) - review by John
Why are the trailers better than the movie?
(Don't bother!) - review by John
Good fun, the part of the Assassin played to the hilt by Janet McTeer was great lots of flesh thou and not for the younger ones, so beware.
(Excellent) - review by John
Not as funny as the first series but still enteraining none the less.

I saw Tull at Festival Hall in '73 and I'm still blown away by engery and just their love of music, If you like Jethro Tull you're gonna love this...Long live the Minstrel Ian Anderson and his merry band of men.
(Not to be missed!) - review by John
I wolud have thought that after 100 years of making movies we would be at the top of our game but sadly Australian movie making has gone backwards, 90 minutes of my life I'll never get back.
(Don't bother!) - review by John
Not the best acting I've ever seen but overall not that bad really.
(Worth watching) - review by John
A top performance from a top Aussie band, this is just as good as being there but just a tip thou watch it on a big screen with the volume pumped up load.
(Excellent) - review by John
Really good sequel, I was not disappointed with this one.
(Excellent) - review by John
Not nearly as good as the first two but still a fun flick, I think maybe this should be the last installment.
(Worth watching) - review by John
Big big movie, everything's done on a grand scale great acting, script and stunts (CGG's) great fun for everyone.
(Not to be missed!) - review by John
This has lost none of the impact it had 30 odd years ago, still one of the best horror flicks of all time.
(Not to be missed!) - review by John
In its 9th season and still going strong, this is the only way to watch your favourite show – without ads, I do hope they make a 10th season highly recommended.
(Not to be missed!) - review by John
I loved it, Johnny Depp is outstanding but I found the ending involving the daughter a bit hard to swallow.
(Worth watching) - review by John
Not big on the story line but it is BIG on action.
(Worth watching) - review by John
Totally enjoyable
(Worth watching) - review by John
I didn't like this as much as the first.
Great fun great movie.
(Not to be missed!) - review by John
I'm not sure what the other reviewers were expecting but I found this not to bad (I have seen a lot worse) the acting was O.K from Gina Carano and you always get value from Michael Douglas and Antonio Banderas, It held me until the end.
(Worth watching) - review by John
I was eagerly waiting for this one and it didn't disappoint as Robert Downey Jr. and Jude Law are brilliant , now if only they'll make a third installment.
(Not to be missed!) - review by John
It wasn't what I was expecting either.
(Don't bother!) - review by John
Not bad.
(Worth watching) - review by John
Possibly the scariest movie of it’s time and it certainly hasn’t lost any of it's impact over time still the best horror flick ever made and with the extra footage well worth a revisit.
(Not to be missed!) - review by John
An absolute classic, if you love horror this is a must.
(Not to be missed!) - review by John
I really enjoyed this movie the acting is first rate with Barry Bostwick, Karen Black and Kevin Corrigan although Ariel Gade is a little chatter box as the daughter but like I said a really fun flick.
(Excellent) - review by John
A great documentary that’s well told and we thought we had rock art (In the NT) we have nothing compared to this, it’s hard to believe that this cave wasn’t rediscovered until 1994 and the detail in the art work is amazing, if you like a great doco this is a must watch.
(Not to be missed!) - review by John
A friend suggested this as I suffer Diabetes and I might find a remedy to an allergic I have to my Insulin but alas no but this does not take away from some pretty handy alternatives to regular medicine, I found it really informative and easy to watch and follow.
(Not to be missed!) - review by John
I loved It.
(Worth watching) - review by John
This is an interactive DVD that goes behind the story itself, this won't be for everyone but it is worth viewing if you want to know more about the Stolen Generation.
It is absolutely amazing what was done to the Original Australians and in some cases still happening.
(Excellent) - review by John
A very disturbing story of a very shameful episode in Australian history, I am looking forward to the "Special Features" as I have a very good friend who was forcibly removed from her family and home in Cairns in the 60's so I can totally relate to this.
(Not to be missed!) - review by John
What a great Aussie made movie well acted by Viva Bianca and Hanna Mangan Lawrence, this really was a surprise gritty and full on action and all those seedy little place's around Kings Cross, I rate this very highly.
(Not to be missed!) - review by John
Sadly what a huge disappointment, the most I can rate this is 2 stars and that's only for the special effects.
A good portrayal of the man who had the mud on everyone while keeping his own secret life, well secret.
And to think these are the type of people that hold true power.
(Excellent) - review by John
I like my action and thrillers movies and this did not disappoint at all, top show.
(Not to be missed!) - review by John
Brilliant in everyway the acting, script period dress these installments just keep getting better, If you like the underbelly series you'll love this.
(Not to be missed!) - review by John
The girls will love the interaction between Lauren and FDR and Tuck while for us guys there is plenty of action with some comedy along the way, Oh yeah watch the Extras as well, all in all I liked it for what it is - fun.
(Excellent) - review by John
Really enjoyed it from start to end brilliantly done.
(Not to be missed!) - review by John
Really liked this offering, fast paced and well acted well worth the effort.
(Excellent) - review by John
Not the best I've seen but by no means the worst, loads of action.
(Worth watching) - review by John
Very surprised by this one, brilliantly acted by Glenn Close as a matter of fact the whole cast are brilliant definitely worth the effort.
(Not to be missed!) - review by John
Much prefer the original but Daniel Craig's portrayal isn’t a bad effort, but like I said the original is so much better, still worth a viewing.
(Worth watching) - review by John
I stopped this half way through, nowhere in the “movie” description does it mention it being foreign and subtitled, just couldn’t get into it and I do feel I’ve been conned.
(Don't bother!) - review by John
My father served in New Guinea during WW2 with the 2nd 6th and never once talked about his experience's there so this came as a bit of a history lesson, I had always admired Blamey as a man's soldier but never again upon seeing him call our soldiers "scared rabbits" (cowards), I had a friend who served in the same outfit as dad and he told me about going out on patrol one night only to be ambushed by the Japs and had to retreat losing one of the detail when out searching for him they found him half eaten (cannibalised) so this part didn't come as a shock to me, but the hardship these lads went through was just unbelievable. Superbly told and acted.
(Not to be missed!) - review by John
First off can I make a suggestion for those unfamiliar with Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy, you might want to search out the original 70’s adaptation starring Sir Alec Guinness which is a six part series to watch first and get a better understanding of the story line (as complicated as it is) the original ran for 6 parts about 5 ? hours and is undoubtedly one of the best spy thrillers ever, now this version is condensed down to 127 minutes so some bits are glossed over or omitted altogether but this doesn’t take away from what is a fine remake of a classic, so do yourself a favour watch the original first.
(Not to be missed!) - review by John
Great show but you need to be quick reading the subtitles other than that quite enjoyable.
(Excellent) - review by John
Monash, not a name you hear much of now besides the Monash Freeway or Monash University but the man himself who these are named after is all but a forgotten man, I'd heard the name and thought I knew a little about him but I didn't realise how little I knew until I watched this, I not going to spoil the DVD by going into he deeds you need to watch yourself but I will say what a truely remarkable Australian Sir John Monash was.
(Not to be missed!) - review by John
I've seen better I'll give them one star for effort
(Don't bother!) - review by John
In a word Brilliant

Loved this because it kept the kids quite for an hour and a half, good stuff.
(Worth watching) - review by John
Good movie
(Worth watching) - review by John
The kids loved it, me - well !!
I much prefer Patrick Macnee as Steed and Diana Rigg as Emma Peel but this take on an icon of the 60's miss' the mark by a long way, some shows should never be tamperesd with and this is one of them.
It was a classic when I first saw it in '74, still a classic now better than Mad Max tho a little dated.
(Excellent) - review by John
Not bad really..creepy.
(Excellent) - review by John
Great story showing that nobody wins when dope and greed are involved, fantasic performance's from both Depp and Cruz but I didn't like Ray Liotta as the father (he plays a better tough guy as opposed to a softie) still all in all worth a view.
(Worth watching) - review by John
Great movie, fantastic acting by all involved a really tight and gritty flick.
(Not to be missed!) - review by John
I was surpriesed by this one, I enjoyed it great cast with surprisingly good acting.
(Excellent) - review by John
Good movie.
(Worth watching) - review by John

(Excellent) - review by John
Wow, what a movie BIG cast I never thought I'd see Daniel Craig or Harrison Ford as cowboy's but what a ride, just enjoy it for it it is a bit of fun. Highly recommended.
(Not to be missed!) - review by John
Really good story well acted by all the cast with a bit slow to start with but has a nice twist at the end.

If you're a fan of Rowan Atkinson as I am the you'll love this offering, brilliant.
(Excellent) - review by John
This was reccommended by a friend of mine and I must must admit I was very surprised by this offering, the acting by Cameron Diaz was superb but don't be fooled by the title this is not for the younger one's "plenty of use of the "F" word and the "C" Bomb so be advised, but adults should enjoy this.
(Excellent) - review by John
The greed of corporations never ceases' to amaze as this tale tells, great story well acted and more that worth a viewing.
(Excellent) - review by John

The one thing about Mel is he knows how to make an epic and this is no exception, great movie.
(Not to be missed!) - review by John
I didn't realise Russell Crowe's 3:10 to Yuma was a remake, so I got this out to compare the two - a little bit dated but still worth a viewing as Glenn Ford is always brilliant to watch as is Van Heflin a great movie at any time.
(Not to be missed!) - review by John
Enjoyed this very much, love Sigourney Weaver a great actress.

I liked it, love the work of Mortensen and Harris.

I enjoyed this movie, better than the original "Charlton Heston" flicks of the 70's
(Excellent) - review by John
The start got me in... but after that well you be the judge.
(Don't bother!) - review by John
Spooky, very spooky after watching the first two installments this was no disappointment.
If you liked Luc Besson's "Leon: The Professional" then strap yourself in for a rollercoaster of a ride.
(Not to be missed!) - review by John
What a movie, gritty and violent and extremely well acted but better still is that the bonus feature is just as compelling to watch as the main feature. Definitely one for the boys.
(Not to be missed!) - review by John
Wow what a surprise of a film, great viewing.
(Excellent) - review by John
Really quite good.
(Worth watching) - review by John
If you have seen 1 thru 4 then you must see this.
(Not to be missed!) - review by John
The Exorcist is by far and away above this one, given The Rite was made in 2011 the special effects are terrible and not even Anthony Hopkins can save it.
(Don't bother!) - review by John
I normally enjoy the After Dark Originals but this one is a bit of a dud.
A truely well acted and great story, this is a must see.
(Not to be missed!) - review by John
Why do reviewers see the need to divulge the story line, well now thanks to Kimbo and Kath I don't need to see it ?
(Don't bother!) - review by John
This is truely sad to watch but we must never forget what happened on 9/11/2001.
(Not to be missed!) - review by John
I grew up watching George Reeves as Superman in the early 60's and allways wondered what happened to him as he just disapperaed from sight well after seeing this my questions where finally answered, a great movie.
(Excellent) - review by John
Great movie with a stellar cast and a really good twist at the end.
(Not to be missed!) - review by John
I don't often watch foreign movies on dvd but I am glad I got this one, gritty and thought provoking and some seriously good acting from all the cast (get over it being subtitled) this is life on the other side of the tracks, this one I highly recommend.
(Not to be missed!) - review by John
Rather enjoyed this one.
(Excellent) - review by John
Quite simply one of the best drama pieces ever made. Absolutely loved this.
(Not to be missed!) - review by John
Brilliant - for anybody who can remember the day JFK was assassinated (I was 6yrs old at the time) knows that Oswald was painted as the lone assassin, but I never really accepted that version and this only adds to who really did kill the President, was it the man on the grassy knoll or the secret service - maybe just maybe one day we might know whole the truth? This is a must see for conspiracy lovers or history buffs alike.
(Excellent) - review by John
This had a comic book look and feel about it - a good one for younger ones.
(Worth watching) - review by John

(Not to be missed!) - review by John
Top series, strong cast and a great story.
(Excellent) - review by John
Be a fly-on-the-wall with this showing of the way thebrit's treated the Irish for 100's of years, the most worrying thing about this episode was that no one was held accountable in fact they were commendated with awards.
Compelling and confronting this is a must see.
(Not to be missed!) - review by John
This is only for die hard Beatle fans as there is no music clips in this one, but ah to remember yesteryear with the Fab Four - their wit - their charm, yep whatever happened to the music scene that we put up with crap that is dished up by so called stars who've been around for 5 minutes - these four lads made pop music what it was. Even forty years after they disbanded they are still #1.
(Not to be missed!) - review by John
What a really feel good story - Just who is the master us or them?
Highly recommended.
(Not to be missed!) - review by John

Another outstanding performance from Cate Blanchett and does Tommy Lee Jones ever make a bad movie well not after viewing this one, highly recommended.
(Not to be missed!) - review by John
One of the better things Nicolas Cage has done sinc Face Off, it sure beats Ghost Rider and the performance from William Fitchner as the Accountant is a real stand out Well worth a look.

In one word "Brillant"
(Not to be missed!) - review by John
Great show with great story line and some magical effects, definitely worth the effort.

It isn't saving private ryan but still not a bad showing, worth a look.
(Excellent) - review by John
This goes straight to the top of my list as the worst movie i've ever seen.
Don't waste your time with this one.
(Don't bother!) - review by John
Rather disappointing actually, to me it does not answer the questions as to why they did what they did nor does it cover the police investigation into the deaths of 11 people but is does show the great divide we have in this country where such a sorry event of this nature could and does happen, for me it was a let down after reading some great reviews.
Enjoyed this one.
(Excellent) - review by John
This is so bad "the performance from the Father is woeful", I am going to see if Hellraiser 2 - Hellbound is any better, we can only wait and see.
Yeah O.K. Worst acting i have ever seen if you thought Hellraiser (1) was bad then this does'nt get any better, don't waste your time.
O.K. show, six people unknown to each other are placed inside a cube, by who? and why? you don't get all the answers but it will keep you watching till the end.
(Worth watching) - review by John
Bitterly disappointed that this cut out (stopped playing) af the 57min mark because it looked like a really good movie, up until then i was quite impressed with the cast, story line and the computer generated graphics are superb - but not seeing the whole movie i am unable to rate it.
(Not to be missed!) - review by John
Quite a good showing from Mr. Will Smith and as always from Seasn Connery, well worth viewing.

(Excellent) - review by John
Half decent movie I would highly recommend
(Worth watching) - review by John
Painfully slow I stoped after 30 mins - not at all Uma Thurman but a good chick flick
(Don't bother!) - review by John
Why Oh why do they bother, this could have and should have been so much better? It had a good plot base destroyed by some pretty poor acting from everyone involed and some very predictable dialogue which is really sad because I refuse to watch free to air T.V. which goes to show I should read the reviews before making a bad mistake.
(Don't bother!) - review by John
Very unusual movie but a good one to keep the kids amused.
(Excellent) - review by John
Well crafted and well acted movie but you have to fast at reading the sub titles but well worth viewing.
