this was really uncomfortably unfunny to watch at some points. I actually felt embarrassed for Paul Rudd.. cringe-worthy bad script moments for him.

beautiful film. fantastic cast, wonderfully directed, a bittersweet film based on true events in England and Australia. They kept the 'storytelling' from some of he people tasteful rather than 'in your face' to protect the delicacy of the subject that affected thousands of people. the script could have been more confronting in different hands, but i believe it was well written in leaving these stories open as the true stories of child abuse were too intense and would have taken away from the message of the film. Watch this film.

Liam Neeson is awesome as usual, but i found myself walking away from this movie a couple of times as it became really predictable,

Prefer the original so much better. Such a shame that some people cant be bothered with foreign subtitled films, however this film is not a bad remake. daniel Craig is gorgeous.

not great, but ometimes hilarious. I think you really need to take this movie with a pinch of salt to enjoy. I am a huge zombie genre fan, and this is a bit of a left field idea. A good attempt I guess at a first feature film, but nothing groundbreaking.

Unfortunate, but this movie never did really lift off for me. I guess you need to be a huge fan of this kind of genre to really get into the cliched comedy. Rebel Wilson is a comedic genius, yet did not get a chance to show this at all and her lines were kept to a minimal. Shame as she would have been so much more funny than the four boys put together, Xavier Samuel is the only one that shows any real performance in this movie, ad off course as always he is easy on the eye

tragic black (almost) comdey. I think? Charlise is awesome. I thought it was hilarious as I think of all the girls who peaked in highschool... who are now nothing so special!

Considering the movie had a great cast, this film and story line did not work for me at all... considering how realistically uncomfortable the rape scene was it makes you wonder how Kate Bosworth and Alex Skarsgard got into a romantic relationship in real life!!

Some really powerful mesages hear, and the story simply told. It would be interesting to see if I can put some of this into practice!

A beautiful and sad film.. Great choice of casting and beautifully filmed. A haunting tale about how when someone loses their child to an accident everyone has their own judgement against the parent responsible. A lesson for young and old alike.

I really enjoyed this movie though I can understand the harsh comments listed in the reviews. This is not a normal apocalyptic movie, rather a movie about social dynamics, the fragile human mind, and how in times of extremity and survival humans can be pushed to do crazy things, You might think the story line is far fetched, that people wouldn't degenerate like this and behave in unspeakable ways? But if you read the stories about Hurricane Katrina's New Orleans Superdome, within days the thousands of people taking refuge inside had been witness to or victim of gang rape, rampant shootings and infanticide.. I think this movie poses some interesting questions.

an interesting way at tackling an uncomfortable but extremely and painful real life subject. All actors did a fantastic job. Highly Recommended, but got 2 stars from me as I know there will be people who find this uncomfortable top watch.

I didnt know this was an Aussie film when I added it. Being a fan of the horror suspense genre I often give indie flicks a go as you never know what tacky gem you will find, This film is ok. Not great. The acting is an ok effort, the story line a bit interesting but only towards the end.... which is a bit sh*t... but still it really poses the question about real life murders where people say 'it wasnt them', people who say they were ' taken over by the devil' ... or were they?

If you are like me and love obscure film, beautiful cinematography and a dash of fantasy then you will probably think it is an intyeresting and beautiful piece of art.
If you are not into art house or experimental films then you will probably hate this movie, and believe it is a waste of time.
I can understand why some people dont get this film, but for people who have suffered the black hole of desperate ond hopeless depression then this movie will resonate with you on a personal level.
A wonderful cast and a great job done by Kirsten Dunst.

Boring . Turned it off after 25 minutes of absolute drivel... I guess maybe you have to be a baseball fan to care about this film. I used to play baseball when I was a kid but even the stellar cast of actors could not keep me wanting to watch this.

you are either going to love this or hate it.
loved it and watched it another two times before returning it. It was beautiful and poetic and a very true and remarkable look into Northern American Indian customs.
I can understand why some people didn't get the love connection between the main actors, but the girl playing Pocahontas was 14 years old, so it would have been illegal if Collin Farrell and her got a bit too frisky!
Watch if you love cinematography and a dreamy sequence of story telling...

boring. skipped through half of it

cheesey fun easy entertainment.... Oh no! The princess is being kidnapped!

cringe worthy... I feel bad for Sean Bean as he is a fabulous actor and the only one in this film that seems even slightly convincing.

Hilarious take on the college kid slasher film genre... the two main hillbillies are fantastic... Every cliche character played well for lots of laughs.

This movie was so boring, cliche and predictable.... I am surprised that so many people enjoyed it. I got so sick of making gagging noises every time the two actors made an attempt at flirting that I switched it off.

The zombie genre is my all time favourite.... I truly believe the Apocalypse will come one day..... however not only is this the WORST zombie film I have ever seen, but it also sits in the pile of worst movies EVER watched. Same as others I kept fast forwarding to see if anything was ever going to happen.... didnt bother watching the end.

a bit weird really... didnt really do anything for me, but its always good to see Australian film being produced and supported.

what a wonderful, wild, confusing and beautiful film. I don't think you are meant to understand anything fully... just let your imagination run wild.
A really beautiful and lyrically gritty style of cinematography throughout the film. The grey back streets of London colour coded with layers of graffiti and textures of grime.
I can understand why some people wouldn't like it, but for someone who watches a lot of film you might probably appreciate watching something so unique in comparison to the sh*t Hollywood is pumping out these days...
Featuring one of my new favourite actors Noel Clarke from Kidulthood fame. (look up this film and check it out!)
Another fresh film from London filmmakers.
I say take a chance on it.

brilliant.... a must watch film to show the young ones of our generation. A story very well told.

hit me hard.... well played, well performed, realistic and devastating at the same time. Great flick produced on a small budget with break out actors.

A cute fairy tale with two gorgeous leading men.... Amanda is wide eyed and pretty, but definitley not her best performance.
Good easy to watch fun if you are looking for something a bit light and easy to watch....not to be taken too seriously.

I can see why some people did not like this movie,,, but for me it is a heart wrenching tale of love that gets lost... even when you are grasping at it to hold on to it, but you know its just not going to work.
Anyone who's parents have been through a divorce should watch this movie as I feel it gives a realistic display of why some relationships fail... even when it is not really anyones fault... unfortunatley some things just don't last.

Brilliant Brilliant Brilliant... one of the most moving and magical yet hilarious movies I have seen in ages... definitley one to add to the personal home collection.
Character acting played to perfection!

good movie in every way except.... Julia Roberts?? really?? noy such a good choice. Very hard to connect to the complexity of teh character in the book when it is played by old hat Roberts.. she is just not quite convincing in this role... mind you if teh author of the book was aksed who she wanted to have played her.. it was probably her choice!

i read these books a zillion tmes as a kid... always wishing one day they would be made into a movie!
Such a shame that the script really let this movie down... it just isnt quite right, or believable.. I think it woyld have been better as a TV series so that the characters woudl have time to develop their connections more with the gravity of the situation... none of the less, if you are a fan of the series, definitely check itout

being a massive horror genre movie buff, i very much enjoyed watching this humorous, well directed, twisted story of ill-fated teenage love. Xavier Samuel is absolutely fantastic is portraying pain and anger. A true cult classic in the making from a fantastic up and coming Australian director and a solid cast Australian cast.
