Wonderful animation and very clever. Not suitable for younger children with alcoholic sailor and violence. Interesting but not humorous enough to make it captivating.

Enjoyable watching the relationships unfold and never really sure where they were heading, which in itself is good for a Hollywood type movie....I loved the connection between the leads and was left feeling like this movie had made an impression on me and my heart.

Ordinary plot and annoying characters. Barbie's once charming appeal is all but lost. Does it all have to be about makeup and shopping! Do our girls aspire to anything else?

My girls love love love this movie (and so did Mum and Dad). The music is fab and has become a household favourite.

Predictable story line, stiff acting with little on screen connection. Dodgy special effects/staging. Glamorous and breath taking fabulous views of the real Venice at times. Watchable. 21/2 stars

Not knowing a lot about this movie I was pleasantly surprised. Great actors, great director and a compelling story that's inspiring from both for both life and in a sporting sense.

Great story and all the usual fun characters and gags. I found quite a few of the scenes quite dark and scary for young kids. They were ok with it after watching it a couple of times but the first viewing at the cinema was upsetting.
