Badly cast. Story could have been so powerful. Read the book.

Johnny Depp is wasted in this 007 type film. Angelina Jolie holds your attention all the time. She has such a presence in this film.

A unique approach to dealing with the coming of age dilemma, in particular, for youth to appreciate. Loved the ending.

WOW. Geoffrey Rush, you can hold that screen, and can stay in the moment, for as long as you like. A quiet hero!.

A delightful playful romantic film.

A little long but ended so quickly. A lazy trip from the city returning to the country. Absorbing the fragility of the aging human spirit, leads to knowing one's own.

Choose a quiet time with soft lighting and a box of tissues. Everyone's a hero in this flick, Cameron Diaz's performance is very believable as the lioness you would trust implicitly with YOUR life. Classy flick. Top acting top story and top film.

On the edge of my seat throughout, Looking forward to the other two in the trilogy. There are some rather sexually violent scenes, very necessary in understanding the plot. Not recommended for under 18 years in my opinion. I am never comfortable with subtitles but the dialogue is not the focus here. After 5 mins I was right into it.
