a few good bits, but didn't live up to the hype.

Excellent. Definitely the best bond movie.

This was good, but out 6 year old found it a bit scary. Should have realised, what with it being Tim Burton and all :-)

Movie ok, but didn't really capture the story in the graphic novel. The key to the story was the whole destruction and rebirth theme with V being the destruction and the girl representing the rebirth, but the movie missed that whole bit.

Excellent, although you have to pay attention :-)

Pretty good, but ending rubbish and blatant priming for a sequel. I loved the original Alien and it scared the stuffing out of me mainly because of the dark fuzzy images that let your imagination fill in the blanks. The special effects have come a long way, but the in your face graphics are no where near as scary as the original. Would be nice to see the sequel tie back into the original movie, but not at the expense of tenuous story lines and in your face gore.

This was a lot better than the critics would have you believe. Well worth getting out.

Wouldn't bother with this one. Better to re-watch the first one. Struggling to understand the rave reviews.

Took a while to get going, but I really enjoyed this.

A bit predictable, but the movie is worth watching if only for the dancing scene in the nightclub.

Rubbish.

An ok movie, but you get the impression it was just a bit of a filler until the Avengers movie came out.

*SPOLIER ALERT* Despite the all star cast, this was very disappointing. There is only so much Elton John you can take in a movie soundtrack, and the scene where Gnomeo gets smashed by the truck had my daughter (5) in tears ... took far too long to get to the bit where you find out he is still alive.

Great kids movie, especially for girls. The horse is excellent! :-)

Ok and funny in places but not as good as the hype would lead you to believ.

rubbish for the first hour, but picks up a bit at the end. What were you thinking Johnny Depp?

Had the kids in stitches :-)

Yeh, ok for a kids movie. A few laughs here and there, but all a bit too predicatable really.

Best movie I have seen in ages. And made all the better by the great soundtrack - Elizabeth Fraser, what a voice.

The first 20 minutes of this was great and looked promising, but the remainder of the movie seemed overly stretched out. I mean, what was the bare knuckle fight all about? I suspect this was added in so that Robert Downie Jnr could show off his new physique, but served little to the story. The fight sequences was also overly long and indulgent. On the plus side, the scenery was fantastic.

This is a great movie. Can't understand why it didn't get decent reviews at the time.

A good film, but lacking a Coen brothers twist. Not different enough from the original to warrant a remake, although it does seem a bit more authentic.

Movie stands up pretty well, despite its age. Apart from the Joan Baez tracks which are truly dreadful :-)
(Worth watching) - review by Gordon
Ok, although not quite up to the hype. Definitely would be better on wide screen.

Bit of a chick flick, but good all the same.

Liam Neeson is great in this. Not usually a fan of the revenge type shoot 'em up, but this was excellent.

Excellent movie. Way better than the previous ones, with the possible exception of the first. I like the way they ignored the last 2 movies when making this. :-) Kevin Spacey is great as Lex.

Excellent. A movie that lives up to the accolades.

Not in the same class as the first or second movies. Jokes and gags all way too predictable. A franchise that has definitely run its course.
