Special effects are delightful, the dragon in particular is great, especially as the features closely resemble those of Sean Connery himself. The storyline drags in places but on the whole it's entertaining, funny and suspenseful. The panoramas shown as the dragon is flying are lifelike and spectacular. Thoroughly recommend this one.

Saw this for the first time many years ago and thorougly loved it. Was keen to see if it would still appeal after all these years - and yes, it's still funny, entertaining, exciting and delightful, especially when real live people interact with animated characters.

Like most sequels this is not as entertaining or fresh and delightful as the original, but still funny. The storyline is not as captivating as the first one, but there is suspense, comedy and adventure still. Think we're becoming a bit used to the animations and voices, so they aren't anywhere as delightful as the first. Glad we hired this via Quickflix instead of going to the movies to see this one.

Loved this movie. It's really entertaining, funny and charming. We love seeing this movie over and over - it's become a classic in our household, one that doesn't lose any of its charm and entertainment value over time. Love the characters - they become 'real' and one feels their pain and anguish, just as if they were real people- a testament to the superlative animations. Billy Crystal's character is particularly hilarious because of his delivery. Highly recommend this movie.

A thoroughly entertaining movie - loved it, way more than the follow-ups. There is something in there for everyone, the adult-humour doesn't detract from the movie for children, and it keeps us adults laughing. It's a totally charming and entertaining take on some of our all-time favourite fairy stories. Loved it.

The Plank is a timeless classic. I saw this short movie many years ago and was rolling around in stitches. I was absolutely amazed to see that it's availabe on Quickflix and couldn't wait to see it again, especially to see if I would still find it so hilarious - I'm very pleased to say that I can stil thoroughly recommend it nowadays. Also loved Mr H is late and Rhubarb- they are really funny. Some of the episodes are less funny, but get this dvd for the above 3, it's worth it.
