Within five minutes this movie had me in shock, in shock how bad it was. If you dont believe me wait until you see the first image of the shark, its basically an animated cartoon. I feel embarrassed for the actors associated with this, on paper it may have looked okay, in reality this is a joke of a film.

Quite a good movie and interesting for not only Marilyn fans but fans of show biz in general. I think Michelle Williams well and truly represented what the script asked of her, that is based on how Marilyn was perceived. The perception is from the book the movie was based on and viewers should keep this in mind. Thumbs up from me.

Just a note, this movie is based on a play. Yes the dialogue is brilliant and the acting is above par however this film is motivated by frustration. Frustration for the viewer, the characters within the story and above all a frustrating storyline that weaves backwards and forwards between the main issue and two relationships. If Transformers were a play it would be terrible, Carnage as a movie is .. well.. .......ahh...well, can I say again frustrating and .... worth a miss.

Before watching this movie I did understand what I was about to see. For the first forty five minutes I was patient, my patience continued until at one point I was clearly frustrated the path this movie had taken. Patience continued, then I felt depressed with this movie and when it ended it felt like the pain was over. This movie was made in self absorption, no respect for the viewer and whilst the cinematography was incredible my one wish is that I could have edited this myself and made a much better movie.

This movie must have been close to getting a cinema release, possibly due to the religious overtones it didn't. Quite a good movie and one of Butler's best performances. Raw and disturbing at times but suitable for teenage viewing to understand the turmoil and violence currently being felt in the depicted African areas within the movie.

Surprisingly okay...

Australian movies generally get typecast as odd, boring, slow and unfunny. This was none of these, it was just uninspiring. The biggest dissapointment is you can see the amount of work that has gone into making this movie, but it plays out no better than a channel ten mini-series.Don't take it seriously and maybe wait for tv on this one.

If Contagion wasn't so good this may have been a better movie. Give it a go if you like arthouse, if you dont, give it a wide berth.

Biggest dissapointment in 2011, don't be tempted to add this to your queue. Complete and utter waste of time.

Outstanding, gripping, intense and highly emotional series, Accused stands as one of the highlights of the TV year, a strong BBC production that will leave you wondering and wanting more when the credits roll.
