Quite an enjoyable movie and great to see the character grow during the movie, particularly when she finds herself in Paris, knowing no one. Worth watching.

one of the best movies that I have seen. I was drawn in and could not take my eyes off it. It is ages since I have seen a really good Australian movie and I am reminded that Australia can produce really good cinema. I was initially worried about this movie. The acting wasn't great, the story is a bit dated, and I felt it was all a bit "try hard", however, by the end it had won me over. Worth watching. A great story for everyone!!!

This was a fantastic movie. Great acting, amazing story line with plot twists that were completely unexpected. A MUST see film. Great to see Antonio Banderas and Pedro Almodovar back together again. Also what a treat to have one of my favourite singers, Concha Buika, perform a number of songs.

I saw this movie when it was at the cinema and thought t was a very powerful and moving movie. Having just watched it a second time some 8 years later I found it just as moving. This is an excellent movie, that it quite disturbing at times due to the content of the movie. An excellent account of what can happen to people who are the victims of childhood sexual abuse.

Story was a bit hard to follow at times and was hard to understand what people were saying (a lot of mumbling). I guess the point was to see how easily 'normal' people can be dragged into quite horrific situations. Scary to think that this all happened just a few years ago.

The acting in this was SO BAD, from everyone. I have seen Matthew Montgomery in other movies and have never liked him but he is just terrible in this - so over acted and his mouth!!!. Not sure why I put this on my list but I wish I hadn't.

If you enjoyed the books, don't bother. This has very little to do with the books. Also Will Smith plays the same character that he always plays (Men In Black movies, Independence day etc.). It would seem that he has a very limit range. If you can get through all of that and enjoy movies that are more about special effects than actual story, then you will enjoy the movie otherwise, don't bother.

I don't normally like sword and sorcery movies/shows and was not really interested in watching this at all but I am SO GLAD I did. This is such an excellent show - have seen both seasons 1 & 2 a few times - helps getting your head around all the story lines. EXCELLENT - oh and to all those complaining about the sex scenes, they are a necessary part of the story line...and not that sexy.

I loved this when it was on television and just as enjoyable now. Diana Rigg is just wonderful and I love the relationship Mrs Bradley has with her chauffeur, George (Neil Dudgeon). Also great to see people before they became anyone - a very young Russell Tovey in episode 1 and David Tennant in episode 2. What a pity only 5 episodes were made.
