it wasn't too bad,

Once again Kate Beckinsale was stunning in leather and lots of vampires and big monstery werewolves had a mash up. They keep talking about how important the hybrid is but all he ever seems to do is get beaten in fights. He's about as useful as the chef's rescue in the Shining.

I know the reviews said it was bad but if you don't take it too seriously its quite good fun. Why was Mark Strong in it though, his character was about as necessary as Demi Moore's in A Few Good Men, and she actually wanted the trailer closest to the set. Moron.

Very funny, the characters were pretty real as well

It was good enough fun.

Yeah pretty bad, but turn your brain off and it won't bleed.

Colin Farrell was perfectly cast and David Tennant was perfect channeling Russel Brand. The guy from kick ass Mintz plass or whatever his name is was sadly wasted though. Not as good as the original but still worth a watch.

Well at least it killed an hour and a half... No surprises and the advancement in special effects technology from the 1982 original to this didn't add much. I'm a big fan of the original and this was poor in comparison, it didn't really add anything to the story. Let’s hope when they make a sequel/prequel to 'They Live' that it’s an improvement, "I’m here to chew bubble gum and kick ass, and I'm all out of bubble gum" aaaamazing..

It was pretty good and the performances were strong. It wasn't a very realistic premise but then again neither was Kung Fu Panda.

Yes, yes we know it's a female version of the Hangover and as such it had a lot to live up to. Although it fell short it still had some funny moments and was worth a watch. I guess I'd find it funnier if I could relate to it more, but hey, I'm not a chick...

This one was pretty good. Unlike the two and a half hours of noise and confusion which was the last instalment. Recommended.

Statham plays a tough guy for a change (well I don't think we'll ever see him in a movie like the tooth fairy) in a by-the-numbers action/spy flick. Good entertainment.

Steinfeld buts in an amazing performance, Jeff Bridges mumbles a lot and Matt Damon seems to be in there for no good reason. I almost turned over to watch Brewsters Millions halfway through. Disappointing for a Coen brothers movie.

Blair witch style movie and some of the 'possessed' scenes are chilling. Not really harmed by the odd ending.

A good movie, I hate demons though...

Great movie. Wahlberg is fine but Bale steals the show with a memorable performance.

I'm being generous giving it two stars. There were no real laughs but it was harmless.

Some funny moments but on the whole a rare miss for a Simon Pegg movie

A good film, Nicholas Cage puts on his wacky, eccentric hat for this one and it works well.

A decent enough update of the original but whilst the original had moody teens this has huffy 10 year olds. Seeing kids fighting the way they do in this movie is not only a little unrealistic bit mildly disturbing, as is the love story.. Will Smith's son does well though, definetely a watchable film.

A solid three stars for this one as both Cruise and Diaz provide good perfomances in a fast paced and fun (if over the top) movie. You can't help feeling that Tom Cruise is a bit nuts though..

Survival horror angel style. Its like Supernatural meets Dawn of the dead. Good action, well acted with a few frights and a hint of gruesomeness thrown in for good measure. Paul Bettany as usual provides an understated performance which helps the realism of his character. I should stress that I haven't met many Archangels but most seem to be like his character.

Not as bad as everyone made out. It could have been a lot better if the mysticism was made a bit less confusing and if the actors weren't terrible but on the whole it's ok viewing.

I thought this was really funny, the plot doesn't matter as both of the leads gel superbly. Some of the lines are great but itsw a shame we didn't see more of Samuel L Jackson and The Rock.

A so so Ashton Kutcher, Katherine Heigl vehicle. They are both charming enough and the plot can be good fun but don't expect your mind to be taxed by this one.

Kind of like Gran Torino but in a London housing estate. In no way a feel good movie and at times it can be overblown but powerful viewing non the less. A strong performance by Caine helps immensely.

One of the best movies in recent years, Kick-Ass is AWESOME. From the main characters ineptness to the mob boss's (Mark Strong) paranoia and rage this is movie that will not disappoint great fun but NOT FOR KIDS (although the MA rating makes that pretty obvious) and funny too.

Van Damme like you've never seen him before, hurt, vulnerable and helpless. Some interesting characters and a very real JCVD keep this movie going although at some stages you just want to yell "JUST HIT HIM, YOUR JEAN CLAUDE BLOODY VAN DAMME". Worth a watch.

A nice little fairy tale, not exactly original but thats not to be expected. Some good songs and oodles of charm.

Dorian Gray's foppishness and visciousness clearly defined in a stylish, snappy adaptation. Worth a watch.

Powerful stuff. Di Caprio has now successfully shaken off the old Di Caprio pretty boy blandness and replaced it with the new hard edged no nonsense Di Caprio we see now. Some brutal scenes make you think how can we help these people. A cracker.

I know Gerard Butler is the flavour of the moment but I just found his 'charming' foul mouthed character a bit hard to stomach and sympathise with. Katherine Heigl seemed like she was just going through the motions but there were some very funny scenes. All in all OK.

Great performance by Sam Rockwell and Sam Rockwell and eh Sam Rockwell. Interesting plot but it felt like it was missing something though.

Clooney at his eccentric Coen brothers best, Jeff Daniels brings back the dude and Ewan Macgregor's tight performance are well worth a watch. Great cast, great fun and one for all the conspiracy nuts out there.
