Okay, so I liked the books. Quite a lot. Not to the point of obsession, but enough that I was like 'Oh cool, Twilight's here.' Yeah, thats about as enthusiastic as I get. Anyway, I watched it once, because I thought it was good, and I liked the storyline. I watched it again, a few days later (I was bored, okay?) and I realised 'Wow. This kinda sucks.' Honestly, I blame it on the directing. Katherine Hardwicke, not the best director out there. The special effects could've been better, too. It looks like they just got the 'vampires' to run normally and then fast forward(ed?) it. Honestly, I'm not sure why the rest of it was so bad. Again, I think it comes back to the directing. I think most directors just have something that brings a certain story to life. And whatever it is, I just don't think Katherine Hardwicke has. I think Kristen Stewart plays the part of Bella Swan well, but mainly just because she seems to have the same characteristics as Bella in real life. Oh, and also when Bella walks into biology, Edward (or Robert Pattinson, whatever you wanna call him) looks like he's sucking on a lemon. Just saying.

Okay, so far the whole Twilight Saga movies have sucked. Sorry Twihards, they did. This one sucked less. They seem to be getting better as the movie franchise keeps coming. Best one to date, but still not brilliant.

*Shrugs* Meh. It was cute. A nice little watch for a rainy Sunday afternoon. Lots of reasonably accomplished actors/actresses coming together to make an average and mildy funny movie. I give it 4/10.

I didn't have high expectations for this movie, and even then I still found it disappointing. I watched the first 20 minutes, and then skipped to the end to see if there was any redeeming qualities. There were very few. I found it very hard to like the girl, Georgia. Shes so materialistic. And then, I think somebody else mentioned it, but the incredibly predictable good girl versus mean girl plotline. Overall, just not a good movie.
