Could have been much better. Great acting but found the flashbacks and her dead husband appearing every five seconds distracting from what should have been a strong political story and journey.

A lot more explanation here (although I did lose track of who was who a few times!) but not quite as much action in this one. Really love this series. Only just discovered it and although series one is from the year 2000, it still has great characters, stories and scenery. LOVE the gorgeous old castle, it makes me want to go back to Scotland tomorrow! Looking forward to the rest of the series.

Haven't read the books and wasn't sure what to expect but enjoyed this film. I was expecting a heart-renching story about a woman's survival in war torn Belgrade but it really was a disjointed and confusing story, unsure if we were following her journey or the journey of her partner in crime. I felt as if it didn't know what type of movie it wanted to be! It was okay but I kept waiting to learn what the morale of the story was and there really wasn't any!

Was a big fan of the original series so wasn't sure what to expect with this film, so was extremely surprised at just how much I enjoyed it! Even though no-one could beat the original cast, the actors did a great job replicating the characters and their individual nuances, and the big action packed storyline topped it off with plenty of humour along the way. Really disappointing. Thought Colin Firth was the only highlight. As for Helen Hunt, it was like her emotions were stuck on the exact same level throughout the whole film regardless of what her character was experiencing. Very dull acting and unfortunately I think she let the film down.

Raised some issues I had already been concerned about but really hits home when you watch this doco and see just how crazy things have gotten in the food industry. Actually think it could have been even more confronting than it was. There were some really upsetting images and they certainly made me think about what I'm buying and consuming, not to mention the treatment of a lot of farmed animals, even before the products reach us. Unfortunately it's going to take all consumers voting with their buying habits before any of this is going to change...

Fantastic story although thought the pace was a bit slow until the final match. Could have been a much more emotional journey as we didn't really get to know and connect to any of the characters other than Mandela. Great acting by Morgan Freeman and worth the watch if nothing else but to celebrate Nelson Mandela and what he has achieved.

An arty film with a deep and meaningful storyline about love, life and loss. Fantastic acting by both Colin Firth and Julianne Moore. Slow moving but that leaves time to take in every scene and to appreciate the story being told. Not everyone's cup of tea but really enjoyed it.

Hmmm, I'm undecided on this one! There were parts I liked but then parts I didn't get at all. The story was very disjointed and I was not impressed with Del Toro or his character. Only Hopkins and Blunt kept the movie interesting. Needed to provide a more clearer background story and the relationship between Del Toro and Blunt's characters was flat and rushed, no chemistry at all. An interesting watch for werewolf genre fans but could have been much better.

Absolutely LOVE the books so more than a bit biased! The movies haven't quite lived up to the books but still a great job in bringing the characters and story to life. Great to see the werewolves have their turn to shine. Was pro Team-Edward until the end of this film and then I just wanted to yell, 'Bella, pick JACOB...!!! :-D
Disappointed with some minor changes, obviously due to different directors, like different hairstyles and looks! Eg Alice didn't look her usual pixie, cheeky self from the first movie. And what was with Jasper's weird hair-do!!!

LOVE IT. LOVE IT. LOVE IT. One of the best movies I've seen in a long time. Original story with drama, fun, morality, tears and romance! The attention to detail within the story and within the world of Pandora and it's people made you feel a connection with them. I was so pro-Na'vi by the end of the film I wanted to jump out of my seat to help protect them and their home! Incredibly amazing effects and could see it over and over again.
