You have to see the previous one, to really understand this one... The movie's basis is a computer game, and this shines through in all these movies... Escaping from a big building with many zombies, of different levels of difficulty.... many weak ones or only 2 hard ones... predictable.. but for us that like sci-fi and FPS-gaming, this is a good movie. This one also is longer then the previous ones (117 min)

I expected an action flick with a little humour... This movie is trying to be funny with some action thrown in.. SPOILER Seth Rogan was very annoying as the spoiled rich boy, and that wasnt funny. Jay Chou as his side kick, that kicks reall ass... was the real hornet.. The dialogue was bad, the story was poor, the action good. the gadgets they had were awesome..

for a 20-odd old movie it was quite good :) The story line was very good, with plenty of twists and turns. The acting was little over the top , but that was to make it more comic-strip style... The special effects were good, but of course dated .

I saw them in the wrong order... but still this movie was as puzzling and gripping as the first one... Spoiler: I am not sure if the graphic lesbian sex scene was necessary, but the whole movie have you sitting on the edge of your seat! Watch all three in order, with short time lapses in between (so you wont forget the details) ..and the third one will tie them all together... The bastards will be brought to justice! Excellent acting, realistic story, how the parts fit together is amazing! and 172 minutes! The movie is done in Swedish (with subtitles) which makes it even more realistic

i missed the second movie of this trilogy .... (hopefuly next week !!) but an excellent movie in it s own right... Very realistic excellent acting ... great story line, plenty twists and turns It is in Swedish with subtitles which adds to the realism of the story! After I want to see them all at once so I can appreciate all the details I have missed !!! a good length (147min)

It is very clear it is a movie with its roots in a game :) (Spoiler) so the story line is very shallow and very predictable: Martial arts fighting tournament against a alien race with a sorcerer as leader..... fight many week combatants and a have different boss fights at the end. Fighting scenes are excellent, SFX a bit dated but still pretty good. it is a whole 101 minutes...

Yeah... to be continued.. Good movie, and definitely encouraging to play the game :) need to see the others before you see this one.. same as the other movies, plenty of zombies, spectacular action scenes, special powers and hot women!

Sniper 1 was good, 2 average... 3 well too short, implausible, predictable story... good acting... but everything was to false and silly... even the locations were to fake to make it believable .. :(

Nicholas Cage and Ron Perlman - good actors and I expected a good movie here... The action scenes were good, but the story line pretty poor, and a very short movie.. The CFX was quite good, the fighting scenes were believable...the scenery/sets and the hypocrisy of church was all realistic... enjoyable movie for a rainy afternoon, but put your mind at zero

Tom Cruise gave one of his best performances...this movie is based on a true story which makes it even more poignant. Spoiler!! A young man is fed the glorification of war... becomes a marine..and is shot in the Vietnam war, which makes him a paraplegic. His emotional scars and struggles to finding meaning in this war and his injury..and how he became a leader in the anti war movement, is what this movie is all about... The futility of war, the sacrificing and mayhem of war.. It is all portrayed here.... Every one should watch this movie!

Leonardo Dicaprio and Russell Crow both excellent actors, so when both are in the one movie ... its gonna be great! ant it did... Nobody is telling the truth... and nobody is lying... more like withholding information :)... Yeah a good movie.. a bit slow at times, but overall excellent viewing... the characters are speaking their language and it the scenes looked very authentic.. Story line and dialogue was also very realistic and believable.. length was reasonable a touch over 2hrs

an unusual movie... not what I expected. However, the story line was good, the acting excellent.. Real people, with real feelings. This movie shows we are all human underneath the tough exterior. Not the usual Hollywood style movie where the bad and good people are clearly defined.. and the bad one dies! sometimes the movie slows down a but, and it was still short (93 min) But worth watching!

Was a great movie, kept me on the edge of my seat (even the second time) It is filmed from an American viewpoint, but it still had a powerful message. Spoiler: It is very sad that both race/religion say the same: "We will kill them all" Great action, good acting. overdone/unrealistic firefight (the Hollywood - American always win part) ... The Arabs spoke Arab, the Americans spoke American, which added to the realism. The won this battle, but did they win the war? length 110 min, a bit short, but you couldnt make this longer, without making it melodramatic great movie with a sobering message

yeah! It has a good believable story line.. great action scenes and -for its time- great SFX.. The acting wasnt really good and it was 'shortish' 102min. Great movie.. now look forward Robocop 2 :)

What an excellent movie ! (Spoilers!) I dont know how historically accurate it is, but from what I know (re religion and Romans of the time) that is definitely the way it was.. Religious intrigue, the way they treated the 'savages'.. Great acting, except I did not find Arthur (Clive Owen) to be the great inspirational leader... Excellent acting overall The storyline (true or otherwise) was great, excellent development of characters.. Clothing looked fairly authentical except the leather band breast-keep-flat outfit.. The length was about right - 2hrs.

If you have seen the first two, you know the recipe for this one. :) Yes same recipe, just a different flavour. When you put your mind at zero and just enjoy the spectacle this is a good movie. (Spoiler) however this movie would be impossible with the basic flaw: why didnt the UniSol get shot in the head? Once you realise this, the movie becomes silly. However, 'van Damme' is in it, so the action and fight scenes where excellent, the scenery was good, the acting and scripts poor, but I enjoyed it :) Like the other movies, it went barely past 90 minutes..

a 1960 movie.. what a good movie for its time.. plenty of actors, the war scenes were grandiose for its time. The acting was very good, the story was believable ... However the fighting wasn't as realistic as we are used to :) (spoiler!) that he run a long distance from Athens to Sparta (246km) in two days wasnt really emphasised. Hi srun from marathon to Athens looked longer. Still, even today a very entertaining story.

Sequels are rarely as good as the first one, and this is no exception.. However, the storyline is quite original, and to a degree unpredictable . some nice twists and turns. The SFX and humour are exceptional a little short (100min) but definitely very entertaining :)

put your mind on zero and enjoy the ride :) very good special effects.. relationships amongst the heroes a bit over the top... Acting was poor, but probably to stay within the comic book characters.... Story line simple, predictable but pretty good.. length of movie reasonable Exceptional (although predictable) special effects. Looking forward to the sequel !

Universal Soldier (1) was good, this sequel was very mediocre. The story line was short and the movie still felt 'stretched' at 80 min SPOILER: The weak point of the 'universal soldier' : their head. The whole army is shooting them, and none hit the head ?? 1 star for Claude van Damme 2 star for the fighting scenes

Jean Claude van Damme.. do I need to say more :) Action movie.. excellent CFX for its time :) Story line - shallow.. but hey it's an action movie! Bit short (100min)

wow... What a very nice movie... The acting was very real - touching. A great insight of African culture.. And based on a true story!

Good movie, great acting... not the average action flick...Great debt in human emotions of all concerned. Had to check to see if the story was true or not :), because the story is so believable and well acted. A bit short (113min) but there was nothing more to say....

Acting - very believable, aimed at teen-audience Story line quite good.. (spoilers!!) "What if.. 2 people (of 12-18rs old - yep teenagers) are chosen to fight to the death... so sacrifice 2 ppl each 'tribe' (24 in total) to prevent the death of 1000s in war.... The story line was predictable in that we all knew who was gonna win, however, there were plenty of twists and turns to keep you guessing HOW they would make it to the end.. Sadly the SFX (altough impressive) was not believable... Creating fire on command ..ok..., but doglike monsters out of thin air NO! Still looking forward to the sequel... Also a bit short...

Very good movie.. realistic acting, plenty of twists and turns.... It happens in France, so they speak French - adds realism a leader of a mob in Marseille, sells his businesses and quits. couple of years later. get shot 22 times, but survives.. Who killed him? Why?

True a little aged, but the theme.... travel to Mars, and implanting memories.. is a good one. The story line had plenty of twists and turns to keep you guessing until the end. Arnold still a bad actor, but his movies are always full of action and good humour. SFX were good for the time..

Set/Script/period Dress all very very good love this series the same as all the other "underbellies' I have seen... Very very scary just the same...

(spoiler...) Not the Snow White and the 7 dwarves as we know it... Loosely follows the story and Sleeping Beauty and other mythical figures... The SFX was great and scary :) as you would expect a witch to be (similar to the Lord of the Ring..) Loved it... the fight scenes were excellent and believable. The acting was good (except the heave chest heaving at the end..) The Story was good as in non-predictable.. but a bit to much 'fairy-tale' in it... It tried to be everything to every one... The audience it was aimed at, were probably young adults... hence the fairies were not necessary... length was about right... not to short and not to long to become boring.. (127 min)

Not seen the original, but this was very good... What if, we could get on 'the grid'? Excellent SFX, very fast paced, good acting... a story line a little short (110min) certain things illogical (like emotions for programs) but hey it is Sci-Fi anything can happen .. See it in Blu-Ray (3D) and this movie will blow your mind!

hmmm, saw parts of it on TV decided to watch it on DVD.... Love it.. cant wait until the next DVD Amanda/Emily seeks revenge on those that have hurt her - and her father - in the past..... Without them knowing who is behind it..... more twists and turns then a Alpine road . . . .

It is very very exciting , interesting and scary... as this is a true story....

Yawn.... good acting but lots-a-talking no action.... Also very confusing. A crooked cop that has (I think) two wives who are sisters and a daughter each (makes them half sisters and cousins).... he is being investigates and he tried to get out of it scot free... his private life unravels.. his career unravels... trying to fix it with sleeping around, getting drunk and shoot more people. Used a shaky home video style, which makes it annoying to watch... The whole lot looks like a home movie and the actors are really convincing as they play their part especially the daughters... Still very confusing, and the ending. (I think) of him driving. It leaves many loose ends. I give it one star, but the acting was very good and for once it was the right length 106min (Short!)

Jason Statham.. :) Action.. true story... Mercenaries set up against SAS.... War is dirty... cleaning up the mess is dirtier :) Action very good, Acting excellent, very good story line. . . . knowing it is true, makes it even more chilling.

A story about 300 elite warriors taking on a greater army... Excellent fight scenes (but some were to long in slow-motion) betrayal, lover, lust... it is all there.... The clothing were more focuses on titillation then historical accuracy... Excellent story line. excellent acting.. time a bit short (116min)

Very confusing story of a soldier being hurt and his hallucinations... Until the end you are never sure, where his life starts and his hallucinations begin... Still the story grips you and is scary/horrifying enough to keep you on your toes until the last frame!

Kevin Kostner as always was very convincing.. however, the movie was a little longwinded/slow Some good action in places.. The story line was also a little confusing sometimes and the ending was left open.. for a sequel perhaps? Enough twists and turns to continue watching. . . .

What a good movie.. show casing Australian beauty and the landscape too :P Good acting, natural solutions, good definition of characters... War can happen in anywhere anytime, even in Australia. Cant wait for the next movie !! a little short (104min)

excellent... special effects, story was good.... a little predictable but still surprising enough! The right length (144 min) When Prince Caspian (the tenth) blows the horn. the Kings are coming to help.....

movie was a bit slow... but hey what can you make of someone stuck for 4days on a rock? Lesson 1: ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS tell someone where you going.. - be specific Lesson 2: never be over confident with nature. (dont be cocky!) Lesson 3: have stuff with you for the just incase scenario.. - like water... electronic beacon (EPERB) etc. Anyhow, was worth watching .. once.

Bruce Willis, Action, stunts. all impossible, some holes in the story but great action! I computer nerd, gets the cold shoulder and enacts revenge.. the only way he knows.. hack in al the infrastructure.. Bruce Willis is the only one to stop him.... "That makes you that kind of guy"

one of the first Nicole Kidman movies.. a real kids show.. goofy crim's and police, clever kids. .. long long bmx chases... as a kid show? not bad. a bit aged....

Yeah excellent series.. looking forward to all the other DVDs!

Yeah Die Hard 'die hard' This third movie has an as implausible movie as the other 2. However, great action, excellent explosions, good acting (except the accents ) And a reasonable length :)

I have not read the book, and this is the second time I have seen it.. Loved it.. Excellent SFX... very good story... excellent believable acting by all....and room for an sequel, which I look forward to seeing soon! Yep I'd be checking my cupboards !

Audrey Hepburn classic... Yes this was for me a road to memory lane.. never seen the movie mut remember the songs... Acting excellent, the right length (nearly 3hrs) the songs excellent.... of course for today very politically incorrect.. English pompous! but hey it was great! loved the music loved the acting.. a laugh and a tear.. a nice sing-a-long!

I am a runner ( long distance) so this should be inspiring.. and it was. however, it was also a bit 'slow' at times. Still it shows the times in an excellent way. and yeah things were slower ... Love his training etc.. took some lessons from it :) Worth watching for sure :)

What an EPIC movie! The story was realistic, the scenes were very very real (as only Spielberg can do).. and yeah I cried my eyes out... The length was right. the story line was excellent. A must se for everyone, especially animal/horse lovers. 7 out of 5 stars!

Loved it! The kids will love it, I loved it (but I am a big 50yr old kid)!! Excellent graphics/cartoons, plenty of one liners and referrals to other movies . . . of course, they stayed to the Romeo and Juliet theme, but plenty of humour and play on words.. Worth watching for young and old!

Yeah... Action Action, humour, and more action... Like all Lethal Weapon movies, enjoy the SFX , good story line, plenty of surprises and laughs... Also some interesting sub themes... like kids in gangs and the suffering they cause within families and the person that shoots them. . . . a nice length too nearly 2hrs

read all (or most) of the books -in Dutch as Kuifje.. So yeah knew the characters and love the movie!! Good story, plenty of twists and humour, realistically depicting the characteres from the comic! Bit focussing to much on the drinking porblem of Capt. Haddock, but that is only a minor criticism.. Graphics good, length good, worth seeing!

Similar story, different setting.. set your mind on zero and enjoy the SFX of the time.... eg...plane with no fuel exploding, two ppl fighting on the slippery wing of a moving plane, ... not as clautrophobic as the first movie, but enough twist and turns to hold its own... remember the story line is 'unbelievable but enjoyable'.

the last disc has the main chararacter's true story.. interview of the men themsleves and the family.. Very very moving to see these humble men. that really never got over the horrors of war. After the series definitly worth watching!

Seen all the parts again.. Still just as moving as the first time. This whole series, shows the human side of the war. This series does not glorify war, it shows that all parties lose. . . . many many men. When you see the interviews of the men that were there it touches your heart... THIS is what we should never forget... and stop us from fighting.. Sad to see, there will be more of these movies... Because we DO FORGET. As always.. that acting, the scenery, the story line, the SFX it was all supurb!

Disc 4 is of course as good as the rest of the story.. Love the story.. shows the human side of the war. What more to say? Looking forward to the rest of the story!

What a good series this is.... Slowly the Americans are taken island after island.... still 4 more parts to go ! Cant wait!

following the story of the men from disc 1. This takes in a pause of the fighting and show the live and love of the men, while in Melbourne...and also shows the mental stresses the men are under, in the scenes where Leckie was in hospital.... These 2 episodes shows very clear that the was is not heroic, and that many soldiers are scarred for life.

Action Action Action and Bruce Willis... what more do we need! Excellent movie!, cant wait to see the other 3

Action, car chases, good acting... and the humour, I love the humour. SPOILER WARNING: Some (for me annoying) 'holes': the fake Afrikaans and Dutch accents... Cant even say Kaffer right : ) Mel and Patsy get shot at from (not one but two) helicopters and after that he gets very easy caught? ... But hey action action action..... yep looking forward to number 3!

yep very good series and cant wait to see the rest! Shows the horror of war... and that there is no glory nor heroes in war.

very nice story. Couldn't get the 3D to work, but I just changed it to 2D-3D and it was good. Love kids stories and cartoons! The jokes and puns were good for us adults... Story need to be seen through kids eyes and it was great, nice songs, good vs evil and the good wins.. some holes in the story, but no kid would know this.

Yeah a very good horror/thriller movie, but like all of these movies, you need to set your mind on zero and enjoy the spectacle... the action is good, the acting very good. I have been to small towns (on the mainland) and there are some 'interesting' people there. I sat on the edge of my seat all the time, and the 'shock-scenes' where surprising and shocking enough to give you that 'creepy' feeling. Worth watching...once. And who knows.. that tiger might be outthere.. (Spoilers!) However, going in the bush without a weapon, and protest when one person brings a crossbow. Then when attacked not taking the crossbow with you, and not staying together?? Also very short! 91 min!

A cop killer on the loose.... Excellent movie, action and tension and yeah with Statham in it, it is always good. Lost a star because was only 97 min.

part one was excellent, and this was a very good ending to an excellent movie! I sat all the way on the edge of the seat... "and who are you?" "her father" :'( the escape was epic.... yeah very very good movie.

looking forward to the second part... So far it is very very good... a bit slow at times, but excellent acting, and very very realistic... (SPOILER) I also like the different themes through the movie.. family tradition vs family love, ...search for the parents..., using innocent 'mules' for drug trafficking... corruption of Asian court/gov systems... And their is no truth/justice in any court system! Looking forward to the second DVD!!

I have lived in the bush, and yeah these tourists made some basic mistakes - not enough water, no spare parts, no basic knowledge of engines..... no gun! You meet some weirdo's in the bush and I got no doubt some these things are happening there. Excellent acting... everything is exactly what a person in that situation would do. For me not really scary. Hmmm, but yeah I was calling "watch out" and "hurry up" Very good suspense! Every tourist should watch this before they go out bush... then prepare!

(spoilers) a good story line, and a good subject to make a movie of... what would you do if you could use 100% of your brain power? What if a pill could do that? would you take it? Hmmm, if I was on that pill what would I do??? What are the side effects? Watch this movie and see..... Acting was very good, believable... and the use of light to show when he was on and of the drug was a good idea. Helped with the ending. Yep enjoyed the movie, but was a bit slow at times, and short: 105min....

I like number 1, so - so but pass number 2, but this is dredging the bottom of the barrel!! Bad acting, and hopeless shooting... how come the chick can have one shot kill first, then hopeless after... ?? Also no-one saw coming, she was the baddy? Nah unbelievable plot, lucky it was short only 84 min, not even 1.5hrs waste of time.....

From the beginning guessed 'who dun it' Still good action, but because the plot was fairly predictable... (the title 'Betrayal" gave a lot away) . However, enough twists and turns to keep me watching to the end.... Not the best Wesley Snipes but still enjoyable.

(spoilers) Got turned off a bit at the beginning sequence.... however, got quickly drawn back in by Mater :D Cars 2 has 007 in a car version... and Mater the unwittingly and unwilling spy. :) with some unusual twists and turns.... It all worked out in the end Yeah, once I realised what was happening it was very entertaining. !

film made of a cartoon, gory, little titillating, not recommend it. 3 (or was it 4) stories seemingly unrelated, but all happening in Basin city with the nick name Sin City. The only connection is the bar where they all end up... It was done in black and white, except the blood, lipstick (red), and the eyes in different colours. So interesting cinematography, which warrant astar and acting was good, each individual story was good, just together they didnt make any sense...

what an excellent story line... science fiction, love, a splattering of the the old stories of the Viking God's, excellent SFX.... Yep worth watching.. and I am sure there will be a sequell!

Wesley Snipes.. you know the drill , just a very good action thriller. Never know what turn the story's gonna take.. and the door is left open for a sequel :-D Action was good, action was believable (except the end scene.. the glass going through the neck.. but hey who is looking at detail) So Action, good story line good action..... can't fault it.... nice a rainy day escapism

Mel Gibson at its best. The crazy cop... looking forward to #2 :D Two unlikely cops partnered up. The one 50 and by the book, the other wild and 'crazy' All around Christmas time... Fav quote of this movie: "I am to old for this sh!t" Pleny of Action and one liners! A star less, bec the theme/format is now a little aged and over used .....

A great movie.. I cried, laughed, and cried some more....What lessons we can learn from this movie... Part of life can be 'your destiny.. the rest is accident like a feather in the wind' which is clearly shown by the parallel lives of Jenny and Forrest... Who is stupid, who is smart? "I am not smart, but I know what love is" A must see for everyone, and every time you see it, you will find new gems!

To long, not enough action. Good acting (but again stretched out a bit at times) The horor and stupidity of war (and American Warfare) clearly shown. but yeah. a bit of a yawn.

A war movie of 1930 that is still very good watch today! The message is clear. The war scenes realistic (without the obligatory blood and guts of today's war movies). It shows the stupidity of war and even more stupid the trench war fare..... Many millions of ppl dies and not an inch of ground was gained .... seriously worth watching! It is digitally remastered but the sound was still not good.. and the era's over-acting were the reasons to deduct a star!

NIce story.. but bit boring. not scary acting ok.

An epic movie.... Excellent sit on the edge of your seat movie... One of those "they dont make them like they used to' movies! Very Tense, very claustrophobic.... Excellent.. a must see! (BTW the book is excellent too! )

Hmmm over the top violence, nudity, and a 'comic book' - feel. Funny at times, good fight scenes, gory at times, It made fun at the 'red neck Yankee' protecting the borders.. and the Mexicans were winning! Steven Seagal playing an overweight bad guy! :( Not my favorite choice, but yeah I it was ok .

Great movie, quite funny, good acting... LOVE THE MUSIC! 3 members of a chaingang escape on the promise of sharing 1.2million in stolen loot.... Hilarious situations, extreme stereotypes, and fun on the general institutions of the 'depression-times': religion, kkk and others. Yep a very good movie!

All 3 movies seen many times.. each time, I sit on the edge of my seat... Excellent tension, chases, cars, rooftops the lot!!

This is the third time I have seenthis series and it still grabs me! Matt Damon is his usual brilliant best as Jason Bourne... looking forward to the trird in the series!

Action - Bruce Willis - Action - Humour (very funny) - over the top action... yeah what more? Watch it! A woman working at social security dreams of becoming the girl in a 'mills & Boons style' book, where the male hero is a CIA agent.... and it happens !

wrong genre.. it is not a comedy as such.. It has Aussie humour in it for sure, but not 'falling of the chair in stitches' funny. it IS however, a very touching story with some humorous and sad parts in it.. It shows Australia and Australian life at its best. Loved it, fits with the Australian psyche....

Nice kids movie, but now a bit dated.. (see the fishing line with the harmonica.. spoiler) Still a nice enjoyable moviie!! even for an adult like me

Hmmmm... good realistic animation, but the story line was to twisted for my liking. It was neither a kids cartoon, nor a kids cartoon with adult layers... What was it... They decided to make something to please everyone, and they didnt please anyone. few laughs, few takes on movies, a little hint of environmental issues (control of the water)... This is a movie that is and that was, but never came out of the abys.... 2 stars (for the animation)

Yes Yes Yes.... we all have a Carl in us, as in unfullfilled dreams.... and an annoying kid in the neighbourhood..... laughed all the way! Yep loved it.. but hey I love all kids movies....

hmmm, excellent thriller and very well acted.... you stay puzzled until the end.. and there are still questions left... we might learn in the next movie.... eg: where does Lisbeth herself fit in? definitly worth watching. worth 6 out of 5stars! (btw for those that have their dvd 'freesing' all the time.. it could be your dvd player... I had the same problems that sometimes the dvd would freese, other times it played fine. getting itnow fixed :D )

Hmmm, American Mad Max feel. But that isnt bad bec I lve Mad Max! Very good story line, many twists and turns, and the surprise ending was very very good!! excellent acting.... Dont mind seeing it again, just to watch the clues I missed, and made the end such a surprise!

wow, I didn't know there was a cartoon version out there... I think it was very veyr good, good graphics, good twists and ofcourse the sfx can be way better in a cartoon then in a 'real movie' The story line seemlesly fitted in all the sequels..... looking for the truth of what happened in Racoon City I love it!

realistic portrayal of the war front in iraq. Sad, frustrating, angry, plain hopeless...... The people we are trying to help, are the biggest hindrance. but very good movie.

Very good movie, but totally different to the Sherlock Holmes we know... Good realistic scenery, good stunts and SFX, a touch of romance and plenty of humour. Yes it froze again (at 47 min similar to the other movies I had issues with) but it played fine in he Blue ray drive of my computer ???? So all up a very good movie and a nice length (bit over 2hrs)

Milla jovovich... need it say more? Good movie... Action, Kick ass gorgeouse women, zombies. a good (albeit predictable) story... Looking forward to the next one... multiple Milla jovovich's hmmmmm can i give 4 stars for every Milla? Still a bit short, but wouldn't know hoe to stretch it to at least 120min..... Action, stunts, Humour, and more action. Captain Jack's running is worth the movie! The plot has plenty of twists and turns.... the open end makes us wanting to see the next movie!

Mille is in it, so it is a good movie :-P Ok the movie was (too) short 97 min, story line even shorter. But the action was excellent, there were surprise twists and turns.. and Mille. I loved it! cant wait to see the sequel! But I hope the sequel can reach the 120 min mark (1 star of bec too) short!

hmmm.. definitly an anti-war movie. but stretched to the limit.... looooong wedding... long hinting scene... very short about the horrors of war... then the emotional/ psychological/physical effect of the aftermath of was... I am sure it was very good at its time.... The acting and scenery and the mood of the music were very fitting, but it is to long over everything.

Excellent Australian movie. Tommy Lewis was excellent - without saying a word! The story-line was very good, the acting was realistic... Wouldn't mind seeing this one again!

The story line was good, a bit draggedout in parts, but nothing could have been deleted. It is 50-odd years cramped in a movie. I watched it till the end, and felt very sorry for the emperor. Also it was clear the ironyof how humans keep on glorifying other humans to the detriment of the common people...

Hmmm, someone was trying to make a movie to become a comedy, thriller, and love story and failed in all three Comedy by the (French) police, add a litle bit of a boat chace as a thriller, and a dash of (comic) love story.... stereotyped by the back for bad and white for good.... Some parts were believalbe, most wasn't . Still I wanted to see what happen next.... I am sure that Jodie and Depp could have done with a better script In short it had all the hallmarks of a B-movie made in Europe (French perhaps? )

It was very slow moving... half way I had to read the blurb toknow what it was getting at.... However, I did get drawn into the movie.. It is also a must see story, as it is true happened..... We all must know these things

After silence.. this move is just as good, actually I think better.... more surprising, more tension, more gruesome, but also more undrerstanding.. and you feel for poor Hannibal... The sexual tension between him and his aunt. was also palpable....

hmmm... excellent movie.. like always the first mov eis the best but this one was just as good as the second one... BRRRRR scenes and actions were very very realsitic... of a person hearing voices.

I have seen the other Karate KId movies and thisone was just as good as the others! I knew the story, but the acting and carate scenes were just excellent... The cute love story, the secret of mr chan (mr HAN).. they were beautiful twistes to make the movie very entertaining!

an epic movie has love, fights, humour, emotions, the characters are realistic.... This movie is EPIC. I dont know about the accuracy of the history, but who cares... Nothing should stand in the way of a good story! ;-)

This is the best movie out of the twilight series. For once it was not a soppy teenage-emotional-infatuation love story. There was love/friendship but way more credible. The SFX was excellent and the characters are a lot more believable. Still I dont know why there is a choice to be made with a well-build, hot blooded shape shifter on the one side, and a cold, zombie like creature on the other? But hey I am a logical male !

Yawn... slow, drawn out teenager girl movie. the few min of action was good, acting so-so... I was waiting for the "frankly my dear, I dont give a damn" but it never came.

I am a very religious person, and I quite enjoyed this humorous doco! Whatever he said in this story is true. both 'christians' and muslims have done some terrible things in the nameof their religion. I also like it that he exposed the absurd believes from 'Christians' that are not from the Bible... I agreeChristmas is so not Biblical. The Trinity belief is comical if it wasn't taken so seriously. More religious ppl should see this, then read their Bible/Curan whatever to check what their religion preach is really from their own holy book. It was very lighthearted, but also very educational.

JT and Denzel were very good in their roles, JT always looks mean, and a bit wacked. Denzel as the subordinate but stil the leader..... Yep predictable 'negotiator' movie, but still a few good twist and turnes that kept you watching. Ending would have like to be a 'finale' rather then a 'after thought' feel Still worth to spend the sat-night on...

very predictable, because we have seen the other predator movies... the only question I had through the whole movie (why didn't the characters??) is why the dr was there? aqll the other were asked except him. To many gaps in the story.... could have been another 20 min longer to fill in thegaps... Action and sci-fi theme were good (but predictable) also to many loose ends at the end (how they get of the planet? why/who put them there? what this a prequel?etc.. ) it was anopen ending so I am sure there will be sequel.. Worth watching... Once

I liked this movie, but it was a bit slow at times.... Then suddenly the ouzi fighting scene did not seem to fit with the 'cloak and dagger' rest of the moive... The story o(of conspiracy of banks fueling the weapon trade) is very believable. How the movie is exposing this.. I'd rather would have seen a blood diamond/Lord o' war angle to it.... Nevermind I was entertained enough to watch it to the end and wondering what would happen next....

excellent story line, historically accurate, re the churches, inquisition and other religious acting of the past.... also the ascetic living (and the hidden sins ) of hte monks... Sean Connery was excellent.. It realy felt like a mixture of Sherlock Holmes and a medieval moves. Look for the famous Sherlock quote in the movie :-) The acting was extrordinary (said tongue in cheek) but very very good.... Absolutley loved it.... wouldn't mind seeing it again.. just to find the extra clues i missed... One star of for the dark cinematography and sound was sen to soft. I saved the movie by the light settings on the tv and subtitles.....

Definitly aimed at the teenage girl, with a little action to make the boy pay for the ticket... Lots of sensual innuendo... lots of dragged out scenes.... I dont know why the girls swoon over a guy that is sickly pale, has a Elvis Presley hairdo (but too untidy), and talk like he is in slow motion.... but hey that kiss in the neck... I have to practice that :) The action scenes where excellent, but not enough... For the teenage market: ideal, for me: not enough of one and tomuch of another still, I watched t till the end, so worth something.

After the hype of this Australian movie, I was initially disappointed. It is quite a slow movie, and also a little predictable. The music was telling us, some one was getting killed... However, when the movie was over, I thougth about it, and this movie left quite an impreossion.. About a young man, that is in an environment and gets shaped by it. .... slow movie, true, but the acting was excellent, the scenes were realistic.. It still 'grabs you' and you want to know what is gonahappen next...The scenes were quite realistic (I have been there) Have alook and tell me if you agree!

Jodie Foster was so good inthis movie...To portray action is easy. to portray emotions in such a real way... is art!! Anthony Hopkins... what can we say? He like old friends for dinner! Grabbed me from the beginning... a must see!!

last week saw the new Clash of the Titans... and now this one. Excellent movie... belong with these greats like Ben Hur and TheTen Commandments.... the story line was much better than the newer version.... It made more sense. The special effects are outdated f course, but the story will grab you an dkeep you on the edge of your seat.. In comparison to the new one, this one has better story line, is a bit 'slower' graphics dated, but still worht watching. Which one is better? both 4 stars worth watching !

A very good movie, that makes you think.... It said it was a comedy, but i did not find anyting funny. If anything it makes you sad, and makes you think of your own life..... Excellent acting and all of us can identify with the individual characters - especially the 'mid-life crisis' male and females out there. Definitly a must see, and a listen to the narrative at theend....

I dont know the Greek mythology this was based on, so I dont know if they stuck to the story. I just judge this as a movie without looking at truth or fiction... This was a good story about a reluctant hero, with plenty of very good sword fighting, the special effects were excellent, Pegasus was very realistic (I know horses) Medusa was very well done... There was no over dramatising.... So: good (albeit bit short) story line, good fights, excellent special effects.... Definitly recommend this movie !

saw 11 minofhte movie, then it froze... as John Travolta with hismate were discussing foot massage and taking mia out.... weird and definitly not my type of movie I had allready an inkling it would be a weird movie when they changed the music in a strange way while the names appeared.. This movie can not be rated. how can you rate something that is true.... how can you rate the road full of dead bodies? how can you rate the acts these ppl did, bec of the width of their noses? I cried through the whole movie, not only from sadness, but also from anger. That the powers to be just let this happen, like in mnay other places of the world..... This is a movie that should be compulsory watching not only in our schools, but also in the halls of the UN, the leaders of the world..... What happened here, while the whole world stood by... again! MUST WATCH BY EVERYONE!!!!!!!!!!

I am guessing the director was trying to capture the atmosphere of a small town.... but yeah THAT is boirng. Mostly two men speaking... a few shootings, lots of beautiful American scenery. The actors prsented theri characters well, combined with the American scenery makes this movie wort watching.... just

Sequals are rarely as good as the original and this ne is no exception. The cars exploding as a slow moving tram runs in to them.... spectacular, but unlikely... 3 ppl walk through the forest and reach a city before the army in trucks? However, the action was good, the tension between 2 snipers playing cat and mouse/hide and seek was very good... but the rest of the story line was quite poor... Still an enjoyable movie, for a lazy afternoon.

very good and believable movie... I expected a 'Dirty Harry' style, but this was better, more believable. The gang culture and the Hmong culture are very realistically shown.. The young actors were excellent... Clint as the grumpy outside - kind inside old man, played it to a T. A bit slow at places, but fitting for the type ofmovie this is.. Worth watching a few times

What a brilliant movie! It is so good, that I had to read the 'blurb' to check if it was a real story or not ! Stephen King - excellent story teller, this movie of his book... Many twists and turns, all fit in like a glove, and a very believable ending. Acting was very realistic. I cant fault anything of this movie

Hmmm, not sure what to make of this movie... Half way I knew who 'dunn it', and was surprised nobody else - including the 'special agent from the FBI' would have guessed it. However, i was still on the edge of my seat, wondering how he would get out of it, and how he would get caught eventually. with Angelina Jodie in it, I expected some titillation and there was... what a body. The end was surprising and I never expected this! worth watching... ONCE

Wow what a movie. I am a kid of 48 and I loved it. Some underlying themes of pollution and loss of loved one, greed vs goodness made this also enjoyable for those not enamoured by the story line. Many of these issues are happening to day.... good story line, good action, good emotion ( yep I cried when the Astroboy was 'resurrected') worth watching

I love action, sexy woman and car chases! However, the action was little and far between - even though the car crash was the best i have seen WOW... that stuntman needs a bonus :) The tittliation was less than inother 007 movies (probably bec of today's 'correctness') I sat through a lonnnng poker game with a fight and a poisoning to break it up... but the plots and twists were good so I think all up it was a very good - albeit predictable - james bond movie

I love action, special effects and a movie were man are man and women are women! Hwever, I forgot what the first movies were about so i was a little lost in the beginning. however, it has many twists and turns... and an open ending for another movie ! So yes I can recommend this film and i will watch all of them again from the beginning! Entertaining enough to watch again, story line good.... As the actors are different to the previous movies (except Arnie) it is a bit confusing in the beginning.. worth watching!

This movie is what all young people would (wet)-dream about! Being a superhero and then get the girl in the end.... however, this is not your average 'dream'-movie! it turns a lot nastier - and funnier then the main character could have ever imagined... this movie is aimed at the teen-audience, so the language and actions are not for the faint-hearted. get over that and you will enjoy the show! (and secretly wished it happened to you!

I cried so much at the end.... what a moving story and what this man went through.... To se the recognition of this man at the end... Also the REAL Love which was shown by the wife was very moving..... Must watch for everyine. Russel crowe's best berformance!

A very good film, realistic as it was in Europe WW 1. Acting was very good, they behaved as they would in those days. The scenery is as I remembered from the books of the 'Great War' as told in Holland, Wet, cold and miserable. Another excellent Australian movie!

Excellent movie and it is all true.... How sad about these kids being brain washed etc to do these atrocities. Actors where very very real, the attitudes is exactly like that from the ppl that live there... A beautiful beautiful country drenched in blood and hatred. Two things that where said are very true... "When the war is over Africa will be a paradise" The other one: "TIA" If you want to know what that means, you have to watch the movie.... "Blood diamond" and "Lord o'war" both must see movies!

A wonderful movie, I have seen 3 times now. The characters are very realistic, and it shows the narrow-mindedness of the average person towards people that are 'different.' I cried, laughed and felt deeply for the family portrayed. A great eye-opener for those people that don't have much contact with people with disabilities. (one star of, for not using younger (hence more realistic) actors for the high school kids roles)

Story was good, sounded realistic and shows that the 'person that lives by the sword, dies by the sword'.... I am sure that this is how the crime ridden ghettoes of America are. Interesting twists and turns, although I guessed most of them from the beginning. Action was good, language and sex scenes realistic but not for young ears and eyes. Sad how drugs bring people to ruin. Worth watching

a very good disaster movie, special effects and the different character's story lines made it very enjoyable to watch... The -by some called- slapstick humour, is bec of not understanding the Korean language and culture. The scenes that added humour ARE very funny, So I also laughed, cried and was in awe of the power of nature.. The tsunami scenes are not very far fetched as we have seen in real life. The special effects were very very well done... Looking forward to more Korean movies!

A must see for all Aussies, to understand the importance of "The Kokoda Track". To put the true heroism of average people in extra ordinary circumstances in a movie will always be challenging and never do it justice. This movie was definitely doing al that and more! Crammed the jungle life, the lack of food and medicine and the heroism at the end.... all in about 90 min. Excellend movie and a must see

Wow, what a movie.... Action to the power of 3, love story that looked realistic, and the Archaeology dig also looked real (not full of rats, spiders and snakes etc). The characters were real even if slightly over the top (baddy in black and black car, hero lady in distress consistently in white/light colours) The Templar story was well build on, taken a 'slight' liberty with the truth, but hey it is only a story. I would put this in the vein of 'The Davinci code' with 'Indiana Jones' parts with it. Another plus is that this is a real length movie, not the 1.5 hr we become accustomed to, but a solid 3hr movie, conveniently sliced into two parts a negative point: NO SUBTITLES! (lost a point for this)

John Rambo the green beret with what we call today PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder), brings a town to its knees bought on by the actions of the sheriff and its deputies. Worth watching for the action and the message at the end!

Movie was ok, and the jokes are typical "clashes in culture' and 'fish out of water' what we can expect from the Croc Dundee movie. It was funny, but like most sequels a 'rinse and repeat' recipe. Still light-hearted fun.

When the movie started I thought it was a comedy... the car chase was excellent, but the thugs were laughable as being very unrealistic. Jason was the only one that acted his part very well. The meticulous, eccentric driver, always cool, calm and collected. I feel the story line was improbable, but good fuel for the fight scenes and car/truck chases.. Jason is the only actor that really acted, the others were there just for the fight scenes... I love car chases and martial fights, but the movie was lacking substance and the fight scenes were cut to the bone, which for me made the movie too short... ( I watched the full fight scenes under extras)

the blurb (synopsis) says it all! Action, suspense, emotional... I was on the edge of my seat the whole time. the heroes swap from the hunter to the hunted several times. The scenes of the 'sniper-kill' were full of nervous tension: hit or miss? Excellent movie, definitely worth watching!

who said sequels are never as good as the first? This one is an exception! Of course on a similar story line as the first... a little less music.. However, the humour, the songs and a double set of chipmunks! Looking forward to number 3! (I am a child in an adult body ....)

Action, humour, sadness, but common sense and common decency triumphed over greed.. If it isn't true, it should have been.... Very very good movie worth watching. Ffor me, one of the better 'iragi-war movies' I have seen I gave it four stars (four is excellent, five is when i will watch it again!)

I read the last 20 or so reviews and this movie polarised the viewers: you either hated it or loved it. I am one of the last! The msg has been repeated over many movies, but still those that hated the movie obviously didn't listen nor 'see it'. Acting was well done, and very believable (the baddie was a bit 'clichéd' bad, only the black hat was missing), but the main actor and his mission and change of heart..... In real life this has happened very often. The graphics.... well 11 out of 10 especially in 3D! On my 46" screen it looked excellent in the cinema it looked frighteningly realistic! A must see and asap I will get a 3D set up, so I can see this movie again in 3D!

If you have seen the previous you know what to expect! And the movie does not disappoint:action, tension, car chases, beautiful woman (only one), what more do we want? Excellent watching, but the story line was predictable, hence 4 stars

An excellent movie, and yes everyone should see this... 30 years ago I worked for GreenPeace, and now these organisations are even more needed. All Gore has made a start but we all need to be involved. By us talking to others about it, and change our ways, so we dont produce more CO2!! We took only 100 or so years to practically destroy God's work. We better fix it, before He will!

what a difference between this movie and the later movies... This movie has no blood and guts reality, it is all very 'clean'. The story, however, is true and the strategic plans of both sides are very well depicted. The supply lines are always crucial in any war, beit the food or the fuel. considering it is a movie that is 45 yrs old it is still very entertaining.

I am Dutch and have heard many stories about the resistance.... What I have heard is the same as this movie... nobody could be trusted... Excellent storyline-thriller, excellent acting! And the Germans speak Germans and the Dutch speak Dutch, which makes it even more realistic! A movie that shows what humans can do to other humans.... The hysteria of the war, and the hysteria of the 'vrijheid' (freedom) after the war....

If you have seen the first two, you must see the third, right...?? Well, action, explosions.... but not the Australian way - humour. Not as good as the first and second, but which sequal is? Mad max, get his vehicle stolen and he wants it back.... while in this persuit he saves a community, that wait for a Mr Walker that saved them with a plane after the big Pox-Eclipse (Apocalypse)...... In the time of the fear for the big WW III, this was a good movie. Today, with the fear of a environmental 'Pox-Eclipse' still valid, but too 'out-there'... Good movie to watch - once.

Loved the movie.. seen twice and will have a look again. Not only a 'kids movie' , but this movie should also prick our consciousness as regards our polluting, do little and eat lots society... I as a -relatively new- Australian am interested in everything about Australia... This one opened my eyes to a whole new chapter of Asutralia i never knew much about! Racism, politics, backstabbing, all in "God's Country"!! I know it is -still- rampant in Australia, but this movie shows that not all people in America and Australia are racist. This movie is a 'must watch' for every Australian child, so that they never forget what Peter Norman did!!

Wonderful kids movie, with the message that nothing is what it seems, especially in the movies, but the love between dogs and humans IS real! Excellent movie, especially for children, kid-at-heart and adult animal-lovers

This is one of those movies, that clearly shows the hypocrisy of mankind. The father of the man 'Beagle' and the grandmother of the daughter were having an adulterous relationship themselves, but critisizing the children... This is just one of the subtle themes running through this beautiful touchy movie, about a family grieving about the loss of a family member, and another family coping with a beautiful young daughter dying... Just because the daugher has a disability, can she make up her own mind about sexual relationships and who with? The son comes home a month after his mum dies, means he doesn't care? A nice movie to watch and then think about our own values....

Excellent movie.. Extra-terrestials that seem to be refugees instead of trying to take over the world... Put in a 'refugee - camp' with fences and guards to prevent them escapng... need to be 'relocated' to District 10.... away from the city of Johannesburg.... I cant say more, but suffice to say, nothing is what it seems..... Themovie is as real as the 'War of the Worlds' radio show all those years ago.. the movie is in the form of a documentary with interviews of the people involved in the 'relocation' of the 'aliens' or as the derogatory term the South Africans used 'prawns' ... a must see!

WOW very scary movie, not because it is shocking, but because it is true. The extra features are also worth to watch. Actually I recomend to watch the part about the international arms trade first, then watch the movie. All people that watch this, should think about where humanity is heading.....

wow.. impossible, improbable, but definitly worth watching... Story is predictable, but enough twists, to make it worth while.. I know the last second saved thing was done about half a dozen time inthis movie, but in a plausible way. however a tsunami does not make a boat capsize in t emiddle of the ocean, and waves 20,000 feet high? However, the special effects where very good and as an afternoon movie, it is worth it. pity that there have been so many earth - destroyed/disaster movies that we are a bit wearied by it.

The first movie was great fun, and here the funny parts are less natural (less 'Australian bush humour') also the baddies dont act/look really bad... but as a light hearted family movie, that is to be expected. All in all a movie worth watching on a lazy afternoon.

Oh yeah baby! The actionwas far fetched, but which action movie isn't? I loved it, and as we now are after "top-oil" we might not be so far from the truth of this movie! Action excellent, humour good, killing not too gross and (the young) Mel Gibson in it! Worth seeing!

I loved this movie... It was in a way predictable that every clue would lead to the next (Indiana Jones style). However, it did not gave away the clues until just the right time. The movie also had this sense of urgency, similar to the '24' series, which made sure you did not stop watching until the very end. Last but not least the end twist was not foreseeable until exactly at the end! Excellent movie, definitly recommended!

OH Max, Goose, Nightrider and Toecutter... What a movie, what an Australian Icon! The South Australian empty landscape such a right backdrop for this futuristic movie... I have seen this movie at least 3 times, andwill see it again!

I have lived in the outback, and I have met many similar characters. For oversees readers: NOT all Australia and it's inhabitants are like that! The trick with the hand and the buffalo is NOT true! However, the Australian bush, the 'Barra hunting' etc is all real.I dont know if the Americans in NY behave like this though.... Paul Hogan's best and most natural movie. The love story interwoven made it watchable by both sexes. The humour is Australian (bush) humour and for us very funny. A humourous look at the australian psyche. In short worth watching over and over again!

I saw only partof the movie because it kept on freezing, and after 3 returns I gave up... WHAT I saw however, was a very good movie, that made people think. What would you have done? You save up a whole year to go fishing, you drive and walk for a whole day to get there, then a dead woman/girl (an aboriginal aswell) would spoil your holiday??? would you pack up , walk all the way back, contact the police and rescind your holiday? She is dead and nothing can be done about that..... They made their choice and the movie follow the consequences of this choice... It was clear that each and every one was affected by the death for this girl - in different ways. It was definitly a good movie that made you think, but the pace was to slow, so a bit hard to watch.... I dont know the end of the movie, so I cant give an allround review, but what i saw was good enough to ask 3 times for another disk 2 stars means worth watching but not a great movie...

I normally would not choose a movie like this, but the blirb intrigued me. It is a very good movie, with excellent actors. The Australian farm life (its vastness and silence) is very well depicted... Everything felt real, how the people would react in these circumstances.. (shows excellent acting) excellent movie, but the ending became false. That the 'owners' came looking for her, is real, the pistol action was not real. In Australia, owning of pistols is not as common as guns.. their shooting was pathetic. However, the farmer behaved like a farmer.. So the ending made the rating go down a star but still a movie worth watching!

an entertaining movie, Great acting, predictable, but great fun! set your mind on zero as regards realism and truth, and enjoy the ride!! love to watch it again, and again.

I have been in Melbourne, Adelaide and Brisbane, I have been involved with criminals, police and court. What this movie shows is the same story as what I heard.. For me it is even more gripping, disturbing and scary. Want to know what goes on? What you dont see on the news? Watch this movie!

I think this movie is a very good war movie. This movie is an American movie and shows their side of the war effort. It does not shy away from the ugly side of the war. For example, one of the American soldiers killed a group of German POWs, a man was shot in the head), but does not show all it's bloody side of the war (no blood spattering, man with limbs missing etc.) The acting was excellent, very realistic 4 stars

Well, this movie has a 'DR Who' feeling about it. It would have been scary 30-40 years ago. today we watch it like we would watch a kids movie, mildly amused. If you like older movies and/or Dr who, you will enjoy this movie For me, it was entertaining but a tad boring and very predictable. 3 stars is a 'pass' this one isn't
