am glad i had read the books because i felt it would have confused people who hadn't known the story.

Thought it was a lovely movie that touched on the grief a person may feel when losing someone they love in a lighthearted way. It also highlights how we sometimes never really know people. A very light hearted and funny movie that's an easy to watch movie - thoroughly enjoyed it.

This was way too churchie for my liking. Had the usual feel good aspect and was very predictable.

I really enjoyed this movie. There was enough action and the violence was right for the story - Bruce always delivers :-) This is one that would appeal to both sexes.

really enjoyed the movie

I enjoyed the first 2 stories but lost interest during the 3rd. It may have got better but I stopped watching.

I found it a little slow, even with all the well known actors in it. I found myself feeling it was a little 'gappy' with it moving from one story to the next - still quite enjoyable though when it ended I found myself sitting there going 'huh? is that it?' so up to you.

Having never had the pleasure of watching the stage show and not really knowing much about the movie, I watched with an open mind. Was impressed with the fabulous singing and thought it told a very sensitive story very well. I've heard mixed reviews from others who have also watched this but personally I loved it.

a beautifully told story of one mans journey through a very diffucult and often times confusing life. His mother makes a painful decision when he is only a small child - her remaining surviving child and this story is about how he adapts and makes sense of her decision. It touches on the traumatic war aspect but tells that story well and doesn't make it political - well worth watching.

always a joy to watch - even though i'd seen it before on TV

I had this movie for 2wks, trying to psyche myself up to watch it. Then I finally put it into the player, watched a few of the 'cuts' and just couldnt get into it - so ended up not watching it. I've heard great reviews from friends so some of you may enjoy it.

thoroughly enjoyed this movie - and make sure you watch the interview with Andrew Denton afterwards - it completed the experience for me. Would definitely recommend tho it was confronting at times.

didn't watch it - was turned off it by a friends review of it - they like sci fi but said that this was just a tad too way out there - so can't really comment on this film - sorry

it was a lot funnier than I had anticipated with a lot of good one liners - my sister and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

very different and quirky - not a huge amount of dialogue which caught me off guard at first as I'm not overly familiar with this director's style. Leaves room for you to ponder and reflect and if you like having to think about your movies, then this is one for you.

A nice light-hearted movie. I also enjoyed watching the special features extra commentary etc

If you love dance - you'll love this - even the behind the scenes commentary was entertaining

Was slightly disappointed. Maybe my expectations were too high, still a pleasant movie though as Judi Dench is always a joy to watch

worth watching even if it's only to try and name all the different fairytales all making cameo roles throughout the movie.

Was truly disappointed by this film. Had heard it was fantastic and was keen to view it but hated all the swearing thought it way overdone and the 'cut n paste' of the film I found annoying which is a shame as I love both main characters Val and Robert

Yes it's a chick flick, yes it's soppy in parts - but it's a great movie just the same. Get the girls around and have the tissues handy.

As a counselling student this movie really hits home the plight of many clean addicts who are just wanting a break and trying to stay clean and productive. Great movie.
