I put this movie on my list because it was based on a true story (which I usually like). This is the worst DVD I have had from Quickflix, how anyone could do a movie on the life of these people is beyond me. It was hard to hear the dialogue (though that was a plus) as I don't think they had much of a vocabulary their language was atrocious. I will warn my friends and family to give this one a miss. I don't think this is worth half a star leave alone one but I cannot submit this review unless I give it a star.

I am a Jane Austen fan, have all her DVDs and read her books quite a few times especially Emma, Pride and Prejudice and Persuasion. I did enjoy this DVD.
