Excellent film. I loved that it was in Swedish and with subtitles. Very atmospheric film. Beautifully dark and cold. Actor playing Lisbeth did a fantastic job. Having read the books before may help with understanding as plot is complex.

Not as good as it sounded. Average story and acting only so so. Not worth the watch unless you are a complete Wells fanatic.Actor playing Wells was very like him , not only physically but in voice and mannerism.

Entertaining and quaint movie. Slightly weak story line, but not bad nonetheless. Worth watching to admire a young Decaprio acting in a challenging role.

Riveting and gritty. Excellent acting . Definitely worth watching. One of the best I've seen this year.

Could have been so so much better. More on Darwin's early life travelling in the Beagle would have been more interesting, but would have pushed up production costs I guess.

Not bad escapist entertainment. Worth a watch . Basically a fantasy chick flick .

Excruciating. Only interesting to see Vanessa Redgrave, although she seems mildly embarrassed to be in it.

The subtitles for my coy were poor and spoiled what might have otherwise been an entertaining film.

This had been strongly recommended to me so imagine my disappointment when I discover that the subtitles are useless and I was unable to follow the story. Who wrote the subtitles, some bilingual drunk with a short attention span?

Epic. A great insight into the history of Genghis Khan. Lovely scenery of Mongolia. Good authenticity as acted with Mongolian language and subtitled.

I really wouldn't waste my time watching this. I wish I hadn't.

Interesting film and worth watching as a greater insight into some of the events on that terrible day. I thought having lesser known actors actually made it seem more authentic, however there were some overly wrought tear jerker moments.
