I thought I might hate this.........but I loved it. There are a couple of absolutely horrible characters, it's like they're characters from a spoof about posh people, but a couple of very funny charming ones too and some good romantic drama. Bring on Season Two!

I wasn't sure if they'd pull it off but they did! I'm a fan of the K series and they did a great job with this in fairness. Really good cast, love William H Macy as Frank.

Bravo! I feel the need to say something flouncy like that. Loved this.

Love this comedy and I've just heard it's been cancelled - Gutted! :-(

Sublime, perfect TV.
If you've never heard of either Rob Brydon or Steve Coogan then this probably won't mean much to you as a lot of the jokes assume knowledge of their work but if you've followed their careers you'll love it. It's very humorous with just the right amount of pathos. It also made me really want to go on a restaurant tour in the north of England, if only I could afford it.
5 stars

I loved the RHONJ but this is so boring in comparison.

This is such a good show I'm surprised it isn't more well known. Very watcheable, good drama and funny moments.

Not what I'd hoped for. Big fan of the IT Crowd so really wanted to like this but I got bored and lost interest and I can do a slow movie anyday if it pulls you in. Like said below, the protagonists were not believable at all and the girl was just unlikeable. Yes, it's a movie, you can suspend your disbelief and it was lovely to look at, the scenery was beautiful and all the actors were good but it tried too hard to be indie and quirky. It was too much of 'I've seen this already', the precocious teenagers with their quirky little habits and foibles.

This isn't really that in-depth - you just learn that the shows used to be spread out all over Manhatten and then they put them in the tents in Bryant Park. If you're like me - can't afford those designers but just like to look at the clothes and the shows and the glamour then this is worth a watch but it's not exactly revealing. You'll recognise a lot of faces from The City and even SATC from the NY fashion world. It could have done with more footage of great shows I thought.

Awful - not funny at all. Trying way too hard.

The reviewer above pretty much has it spot on, it's a nice comedy, a few laughs, great cast, definitely worth a watch. The only thing that grated with me was Rashida Jones as a lesbian and how do they make her look like one - give her huge dorky glasses and check shirts - groan. Otherwise I really liked this movie.

I gave this 5 stars, thought it was fab, all the actors were so strong and natural, it has plenty laughs and Mark Ruffalo is good enough to eat!

Quickflix should stock the original Dutch series which is brilliant. This isn't.

I've only seen the first 2 episodes so far and i hate it. The lines are coming at me so thick and fast "Hey, look how quickly I can spit out my lines' that they forgot to include any jokes. It wants to be Arrested Development/The Office/Weeds so badly it just copied their style with no substance. I honestly didn't even smile once. Awful.

I enjoyed this odd but humourous movie. Yes, it is slow-moving but enjoyable.

I could listen to him all night.

I rented this cos I love Ed Helms - all I can say about it is it's fine, it held my attention, had a couple of laughs but not enough considering what a good cast they had.

I really liked it but having seen a few Mike Leigh's I knew what to expect - slow-moving, pathos, meloncholia, the ordinary lives of ordinary people put under a microscope. As always the acting is very natural, it's enjoyable to watch such skilled actors play their parts and as always it's a bit sad.

Um, they do send you all the dvds once the box set is in your queue.

Hilarious, can't believe I'd never seen this guy before now, he's a comedy genius!

I loved this. Yes it is slow moving but with the right movie I enjoy that. The acting was great from everyone, it was sweet without being cloying.

This movie was ok, not as funny as I was expecting given all the hype surrounding him.

Being a big fan of Jersey Shore I couldn't wait for this. Bit of a let down though - it's ok but this gang totally lack the comedy genius of the Sitch or Pauly D. When out out and about they reckon they go harder than the Jersey Shore crew but they're nowhere near as much fun to watch, they're not naturally funny or good dancers or have much pizazz. It's still worth a watch but it's not as addictive as the original.

I love this show but at this stage the storylines are getting just way too far fetched.

Very sweet movie, sad but not depressing, I enjoyed it a lot.

The best bits were when he showed us about product placement in movies - some of them were pretty hilarious but I didn't think he stretched it out well into a whole movie. He should have done more of that and less of him touting his idea for the movie around - that got boring pretty quickly. it did make me want to try some POM Wonderful though!

Lovely movie, as always with Almodovar's films the cast are excellent and it's beautifully shot. If you're looking for an action-packed time it's not for you.

Really enjoyed it, great performance by Emily Blunt - all the cast are good though. I didn't think it was a chick flick at all - i normally hate chick-flicks; this had a lot more intelligence and a corny romance was not the central theme. Or shopping. Do give this a a chance.

I loved this. Witty, charming, it moves along nice and quickly.

It's ok - not as funny as I was led to believe and like the reviewer says they do flog some of the jokes to death, but it is a good watch overall.
Just not THAT good.

This is a fantastic documentary documentary - not just to learn a bit more about ' the other' but to see how much gay culture has influenced straight culture!

I really enjoyed this. Despite being put off by Drew's accent at first her character grew on me. She's acting her ass off and I didn't really get it till i watched the extras and saw clips of the original documentary and saw how eccentric the 2 women really were. They did a great job and i'm definitely going to rent the original now too.

Love this show, so funny, season 2 is even better. Wilfred is HOT!

Brilliant, really left me hanging for more. Can't wait now for season 4. Hey, I'm a poet and I knowit!

I really enjoyed this, loved the old footage, I would have liked more of that. She's an amazing woman to have lasted so long in the entertainment, she's a survivor and she knows it. She is what she is - this is a great insight into her life.
(Not to be missed!) - review by Niamh
I really enjoyed it, didn't find it slow at all. I'm surprised how many reviewers did. I liked all the actors, the humour was good and the story was believable.
(Excellent) - review by Niamh
Awful. Zoey Deschanel is flat as a pancake, zero chemistry between the 2 main characters, zero lol's, a terrible dance number in the middle for some reason.
Avoid.

Hilarious. I watched this with my boyfriend and we were both cracking up the whole way through. I'd never heard of the comedian before this but he has a great dry sense of humour. Whether or not you smoke pot this is entertaining and very funny.
PS - to the reviewer before me, "burn this before you watch it"? You are either encouraging piracy or advocating people burn the dvd and then stuff the ashes into their dvd player to watch. You're either smoking too much pot or you need some to chill out :-)

I'm a big fan of Alan Bennett, nobody does pathos quite like him. These are charming, engaging, moving acted by some absolute legends of the small and big screen - Maggie Smith being one of my favourites.

Still absolutely gripping - the best show on tv next to Mad Men.

Loved it! Visually fantastic, witty, great fight scenes, good soundtrack.

Oh for Focks sake - worst movie of the year considering the money and the cast they have to play with. I liked the first 2 movies but this was just downright insulting to movie-goers intelligence.

I loved this. First 15 mins I wasn't sure if I'd bother with it but it really got my attention after that. I thought it was amazing. I cried a LOT so beware if you're not into that! I'm usually not but this was very worth it.

I'd agree with the very first review - this could have been a brilliant movie but I think that the problem is the way it was put together - too strung out, to much back and forth that doesn't help move the plot along much. Nice cast but overall it was a 'meh', sadly.

Very enjoyable series, great cast, I got stuck into it and was only sorry there weren't more episodes. Good family entertainment without any crummy 'lessons learned' stuff.

Meh. Hope this would be really good but it was pretty stupid.

I can't understand how anyone could NOT like this movie!! I loved it from start to finish - very very funny, snappy, fast-paced, well-written, some brilliant performances. I highly recommend this.
(Not to be missed!) - review by Niamh
I liked it a lot, more because of the great cast than the actual story but it was very easy to follow - these people who were confused about the plot must be a bit thick!
(Excellent) - review by Niamh
Read the critics review as he said it much better than I could - great actors and what could be a great movie but it just doesn't veer off the predictable at any stage and the central relationship doesn't ring true - aside from the massive age gap why would she get with him??
