A superb, thought provoking film and one of the best I have seen in years. Wonderful acting and storyline and incredibly well directed. I am glad that the subject of this film is about the men of EOD as so many films of this genre cover just the line regiments. EOD have an unenvious task of dealing day to day with unexploded ordinance, IED's and suicide bombers. They are some of the unsung heroes of wars. I recommend this film to anyone who is interested in what our brave servicemen and women have to contend with when our respective governments send them to war. My top score 11/10.

This is how I scored this so called 'epic' movie which in fact turned out to be so poorly acted and scripted that it only showed once again that today's awards for films are a farce. Special effects 10 Storyline -30 Acting -45 I gave it one star for the special effects. Not even worth watching if it was free!

Very disappointing film in my opinion. As a researcher of the Kokoda campaign, I don't believe that this film did credit to the very brave soldiers of the 39th Battalion who were the first allied soldiers to defeat the Japanese on land in WWII in arguably one of the most important battles in Australian military history.
