Seriously? My gosh, it was like watching an episode of Neighbours made in the seventies. Ridiculous! bad VFX, pathetic acting, tons of cliches and laughable exorcist. Don't bother!

Despite a few mediocre scenes, this low budget remains interesting with a few good scary moments. I am not sure the twist is good enough but still quite terrifying. The last minute is perhaps the worst in the whole movie as it makes no sense.

French flick, a real bore not because French but because it has nothing to stop you wondering when it's going to end.

NOt a bad ZOmbie flick from SPain (Not Portugal!). A few comic elements and some mediocre scenes but still worth watching it if you aren't against some humour. Did not like the religious side of it, quite ridiculous indeed. 3 stars for the originality though. I liked the broken camera idea leading to the real start of the movie.

Stick to the video game. The old flicks were more exciting than this latest instalment. Frankly I had the feeling to be the spectator of a video game , extremely boring! The worst in the whole series.

The worst movie Oliver Stone has ever made. Looks like a commercial, vibrant colours, cardboard characters and cliches, tons of it. The cast is simply wrong. If that's all what Stone has to offer, he should retire. The storyline is pure Hollywood c**p and the dialogues sound like dialogues from tons of other Hollywood flicks which mean they are so unrealistic than they are laughable. Stone has surely forgotten how real people converse. This movie is weak, just another flick about drugs and dealers. John Travolta seems tired, Del Toro seems uneasy with the wig and Hayek is simply not in the right role. The good guys are beautiful and on the top of it, everybody is happy in the end... Wow that's original. Stratham could have been playing in this, that is completely his genre. Terrible! Do not waste 131 minutes of your precious time. Series on TV are as exciting!

Not great. I usually love Korean movies but I found that one pretty slow and the end is really lame. The acting was good though, the storyline was the problem.

A good movie with a good twist supported by good actors and directed by David Lynch's daughter. Go for it even if it's a low budget with plot holes.

Way too Japanese, way too out of this world for my likings. Didn't watch until its end because of its manga comical influence. I am a fan of Asian cinema but Japanese are sometimes too crazy for me!

Why Anthony Hopkins? It didn't do it for me as seeing Hopkins as an exorcist was way too unrealistic. They could have taken Tom Cruise we would have got the same effect. Anyway American BS with a few good scenes and a good start but unfortunately the last forty five minutes were full of cliches. And it's based on a true story.. Whatever!

Slow paCe and boring the Irish accent was hard to get nearly all the time. Very disappointing.

A nice Scandinavian thriller without real surprise indeed. Actors are good. Plot is so so but I kept watching without feeling bored so it might have been good enough.

What a rubbish! 92 minutes of bad acting, bad photography, bad dialogues and extremely mediocre plot. I like Denis Quaid but what was he thinking about when signing for this? The worst flick he ever made for sure. Don't waste your time, it's so boring that those 92 minutes will look like a 3 hours movie.

The 2 main actors were brilliant however the storyline is such a mess. It's also very predictable. It's the type of movie confounding subgenres. The sound was quite a let down too. A pity...Could have been better. The 3 stars are for the acting. Not a bad flick, a few good elements spoiled by cliches and lack of fright.

The "White Ghost" part was ok with a few weakness but still scary enough. I like it. "Black Ghost" was disappointing quite awkward at times. These days a good scary movie is hard to find so if you loved The Grudge series, well go for it.

Surprisingly good despite the bike riding which is nearly the whole movie, bit absurd around the end but remains entertaining. Not worth than 3 stars though.

Remake of the Danish flick, quite uninteresting if you've seen the original. This British remake is simply identical. The original was very average so why remaking an average flick really?

This film's got three brilliant young actors however the story is pretty flat with no real end to it. Slow pace ... A pity when you've got such talents in it.

Unfortunately I didn't like the main actress, she wasn't good in her role a pity because the other actors were great. Concerning the story itself, it was a let down, over the top and unrealistic.

Interestingly filmed, gloomy and limit sickening, it is superbly acted. Has a seventies feel to it so if you aren't against realism, bit of gore and sex, this is it. A dark and dirty little gem. The soundtrack is so odd but is just what the movie needed to bring that weirdness even more obvious. Noah Taylor gets the award of the most disturbing performance :)

Pathetic! Filmed with no money, bad acting, it's like almost everything is filmed in one same building. It's gross, it' s amateurish and it's 85 minutes too long!

The type of movie where Gere would indeed act. Nothing really original in this. Remains quite interesting until the end. Gere was ok but I feel how limited he is as an actor. Laetitia Casta was quite a weak actress.

What I like about this movie is how fine acting you've got in it. Tom Hardy and Guy Pearce are excellent. Overall a good movie with a few bits that I know were going to happen.

A really weird film. Looked like a film made in the seventies, early eighties. A lot of extreme close ups , background atmospheric noise instead of a proper soundtrack. It sounded like Old Italian Horror at times, Lucio Fulci & co however hard to go over the first 30 minutes. It's indeed no masterpiece. The storyline is quite ... Am not sure there was one! It is a low budget, hard to watch. And with little sense.

Despite a few good scenes and ideas, this is much worst than the first Silent Hill. The dialogues are especially very lame. The acting is poor and even some of the VFX look cheap. Furthermore the storyline is thin like there is actually none. I wonder if I will one day enjoy a flick with Sean Bean!

Confusing, unfunny, disappointing with a very improbable & awkward end. A pity because the storyline had some good ideas but the actor playing the boss nephew was simply unfunny. French movie to miss out for sure.

Quite funny, great French film, good acting. As a French I had a great laugh but was afraid the humor will not please people who aren't in touch with the French pop culture. Apparently I was wrong when I see the other reviews. Well deserving!

Didn't like it. If the beginning is confusing but remains interesting, the end falls into the cliche which is a shame because the idea was basic but original. A low budget with a sound very poor. Made in Spain. A little more efforts in the storyline and it would have been a 3 stars.

I was expecting much better because it apparently did a good score in Denmark and I was disappointed with a few non sense scenes and actually quite predictable. The end is confusing and I actually didn't understand it. Also if you owe ones to mobs and you know they will come after you, you are definitely not wasting your time going to have fun in a nightclub.

I didn't know they were speaking French in Spain. A slow pace which bores me despite the few good bits here and there. Overall lack of consistency with Cassel not quite right for the role of a monk. 97 minutes were like 3 hours.

Old but good. Caine is excellent and we are far from the "politically correct" & "Happy endings" type of movies here. This movie is dark, depressing. A real gem!

Am a fan of the previous films this director has made and I was waiting with impatience for this movie to finally be available and what a disappointment. A few good and bizarre scenes reminded me that I was watching a Sion Sono film but the two main characters were simply annoying to look at not because they were bad actors but because of the roles they had to play. Too much non sense dialogues were one of the reasons why this flick didn't work for me. So despite the Sion Sono signature, this movie felt long and I lost interest in the last 45 minutes.

A few good elements but not enough to make this movie a good one. Too much of the story is about Jack's imagination. A few smiles here and there but to tell that's a funny flick, well it is not and I felt like I had wasted my time watching this .

Interesting to see how people can get in deep sh.t., live with it and get over it. Haven't seen Pusher and I now want to see it so that documentary is doing its job quite well. For filmmakers who want to make it someday well this doc is for you. If you aren't interested in filmmaking, pass.

As ridiculous as the title itself. It looked like a Uwe Boll movie. Surely one of the worst flicks of 2012.

Excellent acting. James Caan was excellent. The soundtrack reminds us that this has been filmed more than 20 years ago. Cinema has since changed but indeed it is a different look at the Vietnam War and how it was perceived at the time. 3 stars for the acting.

What was that? Absolute non sense. Worse storyline ever & a dreadful end. It was like watching Van Helsing , Evil Dead with a touch of Dumb & Dumber. Two stars for the funny parts. No scare in this. An idiotic movie proving that US horror has no idea on what to do next since Asian & European cinema have proven their superiority for the genre.

Confusing storyline at first, it gets better with time even if it is in the end quite a predictable movie. What did happen to Gordon Levitt remain the real mystery. Ok movie, yep. Great one, no!

Good acting, spot on for McConaughey but the storyline was not interesting enough. Black was convincing in this role but again should this story deserve a movie? It's been seen before and also the first half hour is just interviewed locals and you get more of those until the end which is quite of breaking the pace. I wouldn't say it is a comedy nor it is funny. You might ignore it if you are looking for the regular Jack Black. Nothing special.

This is so bad that it is laughable. The actors are bad and it is filmed like an amateur would. The dialogues are so lame and it is so badly edited. Finding worse will be difficult. Piece of c..number 1 I have seen this year.

You've seen many films where the action takes place in prison but that Spanish movie is just something else. Surprising storyline and a thrilling development. A good original flick perhaps not as realistic as "The Prophet" or "R". Cell 211 is not the common "Convict" flick and so you should go for it.

Terribly acted, terribly scripted and terribly directed so I was very surprised to hear that's the same guy who directed Saw sequels who did this low budget. It's really bad! If you like people running in woods and winged cows you will like it!

Neither a big fan of Cruise nor of the MI series however once you know that it will be quite/very unrealistic, it's still a good Cruise full packed action flick needed in a boring afternoon. A question comes to mind though... Where do they find the time despite the short time they have to save the planet, to always dress perfectly for each occasion. Would that be great if life was like in a Hollywood movie.

A small movie with a surprising storyline and very good actors. The soundtrack was great as well.

Can Hollywood do any worse? Wahlberg is not Jim Carrey and surely doesn't need such mediocre work in his career so why doing it if not for $. A shame!

The young actors were not too good at acting while the storyline was quite boring. A slow French movie about a young teenager questioning her identity as many teens do. Not to watch with kids!

A very weak Batman, literally speaking.. Getting knock down all the way until the end, was wondering where the Batman from the last two movies was! It is also way to long, way to slow and with a messy storyline. A 164 minutes that seem an eternity as it was an eternity. As much Batman 2 was really good, Batman 3 is a real let down. The Cat Woman character could have been better casted. I had the feeling that people involved in this 3rd Batman (writer and director) wanted it to be complex, with too many characters involved, with too many back stories that actually do not bring anything new to the storyline but link it to the first movie). In the end, I was lost and bored. This film failed as too much time has no Batman in it and when he is finally on screen, he is way to weak! The fight with Bane in the street in full daylight looks frankly stupid. The magic of the 1st and 2nd movie is totally absent.

Gosh if the French Policeis like this, no surprise the country is in such a mess. The kids acting are convincing however the main actors aren't. The movie feels too long, the storyline seems to want us to know that police officers aren't very smart nor very serious in what they're doing, not very skilled either! Wanna look like a documentary but takes actors who are quite famous in France and who looks, sounds like actors trying to guess how dumb cops would react or say. Too much about Joeystar's character, sometimes looked like a promo shoot for the actor. Some realistic moments but way too much time wasted in scenes I didn't give a damn at all. Poor France!

Reminiscent of Ozu's Tokyo Story, this film is a modern masterpiece of Japanese cinema. I could not expect more. A delight to watch and skillfully acted and filmed.

Bad acting, mediocre storyline and quite a rip off of "the hills have eyes". The make up or mask of the monsters were surely too amateurish not to see them clearly at anytime. Give it a miss.

Depressing but realistic. The effect of alcoholic parents on children is for sure traumatic and that's what this movie is able to show you. Excellent acting by the way.

GaryH is right and I agree with everything he said. WHY? Raimi's version was related to the original comic. This version isn't bad but has no purpose. The lizard looks way too much like CGI, The crane scene was ridiculous. Spiderman meets Bob the builder like. The States lack of inspiration and now remake movies made not even 10 years ago!

Major plot holes, total US bulls..t. Only the US can make such a ridiculous grandiosity. The end with the veterans ... Made me laugh. Don't worry US movie it is, happy end there is.

If you forget the plot holes, the absurd shooting and that Gibson is never dying anyway and is smarter than anyone else... You remember Payback.. Well this movie is still keeping the viewer interested as long as you give your brain a break because if you think too much, you might not digest it at all so stupid it actually is!

You need to see it to believe it. It's so bad that's funny. Not a single positive. The acting is way off, the spiders and visual fx are terrible, the dialogues are humorous. It's a Roger Corman so what else to expect. I kept watching because that was so awkward, so ridiculous, so badly acted and filmed... Frankly a good example of bad cinema and not to miss to have a laugh.

I did feel like the dialogues were sometimes inappropriate. Kids wouldn't talk or react that way. Also some of them couldn't act, you could see them smiling while fighting or in a serious scene. Two stars no worth more than that.

Was surprised at first how it was filmed, the quality of the picture but it is so well acted and told. A must see for fans of foreign films.

Poor Australian cinema! Can't we make movies without the F word repeated again and again? After 10 minutes and having heard 10 times the word Fxxk, after tons of flashbacks between useless scenes .. I decided that the Burning Man could burn without me, Why many Australian filmmakers try hard making arts with their films. Art comes naturally!

Excellent Korean film much about the Japanese Korean rivalry and animosity during WW2. Filmed as good as a Spielberg movie, this was definitely a super production. Korean succeeded in making this movie interesting all the way long.

Yes it feels like sometimes there is a lack of substance or improvised but I had a few laughs which will make me remember this movie as a good one. Overall I liked it.

I was expecting much less and rented it for my wife who turned out to be not interested. On the contrary I was and because I am a fan of Nighy. It was light and somewhat surprising.

Very Alien like and you get it right in the end! It is a return to the source coming from Ridley Scott. Unfornately it is therefore unoriginal and like Cory, in a previous review, there are quite a lot of pathetic scenes and the end is perhaps the worst. 2 stars because I kept watching so there were quite enough to keep me interested.

The boring life of the rich and famous. How interesting! What a boring movie. Doff plays well and I am not a fan of his but well the movie is so slow with absolutely nothing happening. Frankly Sofia Coppola is lucky to have an influential father because if someone else had made this, it would not have found a distributor. It's like this movie is made to show how sad having money and being rich really is. Damned! If you don't want this life, let's swap with mine!

Good job from Radcliffe, I nearly forgot I was watching Harry potter in the role of a lawyer. Was quite scary at times and well filmed however the last 30 minutes were quite a let down, too fast for the genre. Still good enough for a fright night if you forget all the cliches that makes this movie stands.

From Denmark, very interesting thriller with some scary bits. Not to miss. A pity the end was not as good as the rest of the movie. Major plot hole concerning the diamonds ... The Chinese triads a bit off as well.

Not worth Ong Bak. Found the fight to be quite slow and some of the kicks were looking fake. The storyline was also very weak and the end was dreadful. Ong Bak is a killer next to this.

Am not sure how people not interested in Psychology and Psychoanalysis's early steps in particular might react to this movie. I have always been interested in Freud, the character and his theories however I found myself bored watching this. Freud's books are so interesting but the fact of making a movie about Psychoanalysis doesn't seem right. Talking heads type of movie. The actors are doing a great job and it's pretty well filmed. The storyline is more about Jung than it is about Freud, more about an affair Jung had with one of his patients and the end of the Jung-Freud relationship. So unless you are curious like I was about the subject, forget about it!

Surprisingly good and well acted however hard to get over the strong Scottish accent.

Realistic it is but not a perfect neither the best love story ever filmed. Lots of cheating, I was wondering whether they were actually in love or not. Immature and naive love story for sure. I felt bored at times, uninterested!

Made for TV with lots of impossibilities, coincidences, pathetic scenes and lines. Type of flick you would see on air tv. "wanna be" realistic but unfortunately I believe the reality is much darker! watch instead Matrioshki.

I really enjoyed this French movie until we reached the last 20 minutes. Am not sure now if what I thought was a light comedy was in fact a drama, the end is so bad and very poor indeed. I was wondering what happened to the movie I was just watching and deeply enjoyed. The end left me perplexed. It looked lame!

Didn't find the fact a stranger just decides to take the child under her wing, very realistic especially when the child is the source of such troubles. Overall good acting but not the best movie the two directors have made. Hard to feel for any of the characters. By the way, it is a French language film, made in Belgium not in France. Depressing!

A few good jokes which are enough to make this film a good one, not enough to make it a great one. Humour maybe hard to catch for Aussies at times, the laughs are more in the middle of the movie with a slow start and an end lacking substances. Still entertaining.

Stick to "The Exorcist"... With all the hype I was expecting the fright of the year and was so disappointed! The acting was so bad, quite like amateurish. When actors were telling their lines I had the impression that they were going to laugh. Ridiculous in many ways! I wonder if the filmmaker didn't hire relatives to play in his movie. Filmed like a documentary. I wish they stop making movies looking like documentaries. It's been too much exploited so US please move on!

An old movie with old style acting, pretty weak, looks old!

Oh my gosh! This movie is ridiculous. The dialogues and acting are completely unreal. The situations are so implausible and laughable at times! Hollywood bullxxxt guaranteed. Bad, bad and bad again.

I was nicely surprised. Hyde was excellent and not many could have carried it as he did. You'll understand by watching it. Nice twists too. So if the start looks like a no budget flick, just wait and see, you also be surprised.

Dodgy dialogues, terribly acted, over the top... "wanna be" 28 days but so badly directed and edited. Made in France! There're better French horror movies out there, try Frontiers, High Tension or the very scary Inside or disturbing Martyr.

Good acting but boring slow storyline. Not much to tell about it so little interesting it was.

7 very long days! Get boring quickly as nothing much is added up once you know what it is about. It is a French Canadian movie by the way. Such storyline has been told much better before and therefore this film has nothing new to bring on the table. Not as gory or elaborated, the filmmaker wanted to keep it as realistic as possible, focussing on the characters emotional states. A complex story simply told until the end.

Wow! What a killer flick made in Norway. Great Thriller not to miss. Subtitles obliged but what a ride!

Chinese movie, one of the best I have seen in the vein of Internal Affair. Very smart storylines with a few great twists.

Basically a good movie if you forget the year it was made and the way they were making movies at that time. Lasting over two hours it didn't feel like it which is a quality. Last but not least the acting was also very good. Conclusion: An old movie that didn't age much with a storyline which could definitely be real.

Brilliant acting even from the youngest. Moving drama realistically filmed.

Not bad! Reminded me some Korean movies on that same subject: Twisted revenge. I don't say this movie is as good as what Koreans have made but it is quite original in the way the story is told, smartly told indeed., sometime shocking. I still have the feeling that it was missing something to make this Chinese thriller an awesome movie. Anyway definitely worth a watch as it is different from other Chinese movies I have seen so far.

Nice effort from Israel. Believable acting, good story.

Didn't like it. The kid, the main character talks way too much. I quickly couldt stand him, I felt annoyed by this young actor. When a story is written to make you feel sad and it actually doesn't because the characters in it seem antipathic, unreal in the way they talk, behave...kind of everyone's beautiful. A very average flick with an aging Tom Hanks in a second role and a finale even more implausible. 2 stars for Max Von Sydow who had the character I felt the most for.

Friendly light comedy for adults. It's made in Mexico so expect subtitles. I enjoyed it despite it drags a bit from time to time but still it was entertaining and very well acted.

Is that a masterpiece worthing 5 stars? No! Is it close to be one worthing 4 stars? NO! I gave 3 stars because it's simply a good movie. The storyline isn't something I haven't seen before, the action is ok, the end is surprising for a Hollywood flick. The acting was alright. The wolves were sometimes looking unreal especially when growling, sounded more like monsters! A decent movie no more no less which won't be remembered long after watching it.

Found the first film was better. In that one, the storyline is quite unoriginal and without surprise while dialogues (watched in French) and some of the acting/characters are awkward. The fight and stunt are still top though.

Another movie overrated in Quickflix. First of all, was hard to watch Russians with perfect British accents even if Emily Watson is a great actress I find her acting quite inadequate for some of the situations happening in the gulag. In the end, it was just a regular flick lacking of drama and of a bigger budget with a storyline you have seen tens of times before. Not a bad movie but definitely not worth 4 stars! If only they had more money to make this one!

A very good idea with a touch of "The Omen" but it is so badly exploited that it gets boring. The acting especially is dreadful, the dialogues are quite mediocre. Eric Tessier's other film "5150's elm way" is much better in all levels.

Dont know why this movie has this title because there is nothing related to it. We've got here some people who are trying to cash in on the SAW franchise. I don't give a 4 stars everyday believe me but Paul Rudd and the other actors in this movie were simply excellent and totally believable. I simply loved this light comedy and wish more of those were made. Not for kids though.

Absolute rubbish! the actors look tired as I was watching this! I have never seen a wedding looking so sad but well the movie is named Melancholia so... Anyway if Lars von Trier has nothing else to film but such a boring story then he should retire. Melancholia is a dreadful piece full of actors staring at each other and telling boring lines that we dont care about and yes the cast are all renown actors and they all look so tired...

Oh my gosh! This flick looks so cheap! It looks like they had just one room to film it all, the doll is said to cost $10K .. When you see it, you will have a laugh so bad it looks like (you might have nightmares sleeping with this) And then you have the acting (or overacting), the dialogues all bad. It is really a low budget flm, everything seems so fake in this! for the reviewer talking about two great twists... Haven't seen any!

Watchable bringing a few smiles, it was entertaining enough to keep me interested.

Not bad but the handheld camera filming was in my opinion a bad idea because it looks sometimes like it was too much. As if they always have a camera even in the worst situations then the use of security camera towards the end... Way over the top!

Didn't go where I thought it will therefore it was a real surprise to watch it. The storyline is realistic and the characters also are. Great effort from Clive Owen as always.

Overall a good movie with pretty good acting and some funny situations even if quite improbable but well entertaining enough.

Low budget adult comedy with quirky situations which made me laugh because of the splendid dialogues supported by pretty good actors. Filmed realistically I had the feeling I was with the characters. Excellent indie and definitely not for everyone explaining the bad reviews. This is no Jim Carey or Adam Sandler types of comedies and definitely not for children. Brilliant dialogues that carry the whole movie.

Found the atmosphere similar to British romantic comedies with Hugh Grant. Watchable but not great.

Don't see why by closing the place, the activity will stop. Another place somewhere else will open. As said in the documentary, the larger profit comes from the aquatic park around the world requesting dolphins for their shows, forbid dolphins in captivity with laws and such infamous organizations will naturally go bankrupt. Sea world isn't it American? So you know where to start from?

French porn movie! This is no extreme cinema, it is pure garbage from France. No storyline, just youngsters and sex. No comparison with the work of Takashi Miike. Can't believe people can give 3 to 5 stars for this trash.

After 30 minutes, I had no idea where it was going to as it looked like the movie was over or was going to bore me to hell but that wasn't the case. An overal good movie once you keep watching after the first 30 minutes, thanks to Daniel Auteuil.

Right from the beginning, you see the deformed guys clearly (thanks for the effect of surprise) and the make up is really bad (you can obviously figure out that they're masks on faces...) so is that gonna be enough to make this film a scary one? It's not a good start! The director hopes that gore cliches soft sex scenes will be enough and rely on such. Obviously all the cliches (Also in the previous WT) are present including dumb young adults, some sex scenes just to make sure... The rest is in the synopsis! The dialogues are very bad and with such, you cant expect much more from the actors. OMG why do I keep renting this type of garbage when I know about everything that's gonna happen before it does! For what I remember, the first WT was quite strong and a nice hell ride into hell. WT4 storyline is simply too lame. While WT the original gave you no time to breath, WT4 is a boring movie as exciting as Friday the 13th 100 sequels made and bringing absolutely nothing to the genre. If you want to see dumb good looking chicks and guys to get murdered by nasties who in addition look like clowns wearing monster masks, get this!

Very religious, a French movie lasting 2 hours with lots of prayers, lots of scenes without dialogues, lots of scenes about monks reflecting... So do not expect any action! The pace is slower than a snail moving and if you don't care much about religion, this is not for you and it was definitely not for me! Boring! Up for a snooze?

This movie looks quite different from other Ozu's work and at times, it looked more like Kurosawa's style. It was really well made but some of the acting looked a bit off. Some comic moments as usual. Overall, ok but not the best Ozu I have watched.

Not a bad Tomie for those who've seen the previous films. Drags a bit in the end with some VFX that will remind you Frank Henen Lotter's work. I enjoyed it. This is a Japanese movie so expect English subtitles. It's a crazy type of Horror with mad characters and some weird scenes but again it is a real ride and a good one in my opinion.

63 minutes only, Japanese film made for the US market therefore Japanese speak English in it. Directed by Takashi Miike, my expectations were high and I was also expecting some bizarre cinema but nothing pathetic. So yep it was odd but wasn't good. For an hour film, I was bored. Bill Drago is not and has never been a good actor. Quite a disappointment and definitely neither the best Miike's work nor the scariest. Special effects aren’t the best you will see and some are even pretty ridiculous. If you like Basket Case, the movie, you will know what I am talking about. Believe me you can do without watching this even if you are a fan of Takashi Miike's work. Anyway hearing Japanese speaking to each other in English turned me off straight away

Could have been interesting and the cast certainly did their best but the way it is filmed makes the film very annoying, boring and it is actually a real mess. Hard to follow, lots of useless scenes and very hard to identify with anyone when the only thing I want is to give up.

From the first frames, I knew It was going to be crappy. The start looks like it's been sponsored by Starbucks, McDO... You will understand when seeing this then you've got the stupidest laughable dialogues you will ever hear and some dreadful pieces of acting. Looks like a rip off of War Of The World (Spielberg version) in the beginning but with looking cheap special effects then it falls deep into the ridiculous such as entering the subway at night, exiting what it seems like a minute later and it's the day! A terrible movie, laughable how bad it is.

This movie is about human slavery and cruelty. It's beautifully made and will impress you how much comparisons can be made with today's human trafficking. Excellent!

Didn't know Ron Howard had made this and I now understand why! This movie is soooo uninteresting. It could represent what politically and morally correct is about. Haven't laughed once during the movie and the happy end is just what you could expect right from the beginning. Depardieu is great in this and it was a light and nice comedy to watch.

Way too many cliches to make this French flick a good one. The characters are like paste and copy from many other movies you have certainly seen and despite of the good cast, the acting seems at times quite awkward.

A stupid and very weak storyline with no real surprise. Even the twist isnt original! It's far from being well made and some of the acting is simply poor. A disappointment for a flick from Korea but well, they can't all be like Princess Aurora which is also a Korean movie but a real killer one!

Oh my, oh my! Can't find a single positive thing to say about this cheap flick. It is badly made, dreadfully acted, terribly directed and the dialogues are so awkward, the storyline so weak. Many scenes are so ridiculous that my partner and I looked at each other puzzled by such mediocrity. Rent something else!

Different and definitely wasn't bad at all. Bit slow towards the end but Affleck as a killer keeping his cool gives us here a pretty good performance like the other actors btw. The storyline is simple but from the point of view of a twisted mind. Regarding those complaining about the mumbling, just read the subtitles and you'll be fine. The Texan accent is sometimes hard to grab indeed.

Yankees can't read subtitles so they have to spend millions and remade it. The original swedish version was simply excellent, suspenseful with chilling moments while the US version and particularly the investigation seems too easy. The clues pile up too fast making Lisbeth looking like some kind of genius, super women or robot whom with the help of her computer can find out, point out linked murders that 40 years of investigation were not able to figure out. Also Mikael's daughter was capable in a quick look to relate numbers to the bible... Wow isn't she smart? I like David Fisher but his job on this remake was to overdo everything like Americans are used to..over explaining just in case idiots were watching and couldn't understand what is not obviously explained or shown. Regarding the actors, I also found the Swedish actors more believable. If you have not seen the original or read the book, watching the US version is a plain mistake as the actor playing the bad guy is the type of actors who can't p,ay something else but that type of roles. Fisher has just copied and added up a touch of Hollywood which includes an end quite different and disappointing. So yeah the picture is sharp, clean..yeah the opening credits are impressing but is it worth the original version? Hell no!

Basically a good movie with nice funny situations obviously caused by Carell. When he is not on screen, it feels empty and it drags quite a lot at some points. Not the best from Carell nor from Gosling.

The problem with this movie is that all the characters are hard to identify with, none seems friendly enough. I had no empathy for none of them. It was hard to watch Mel Gibson in the role of a weak man, talking with an Aussie accent with a puppet. Perhaps it would have worked better with an actor not as known as Gibson we are used to see in films playing the macho man.. I found the storyline very weak, uninteresting and was wondering why Foster would make this. Schizophrenia and depression could be better told than through the voice of a puppet/Mel Gibson. For sure it is the worst flick Gibson has played in this last decade. boring!

I really enjoyed, was funny enough. Both main actors were great in their roles. Certainly one of the best films Carrey has played the last five years and definitely better than Yes Man.

Great French movie. The end is perhs ridiculously unrealistic. For that reason a 3 stars instead of 4. Gruesome at times but gripping all the way.

Could have been a 4 stars Thriller if Koreans this time didn't go over the top. The main character is chased by hundreds of cops and none can catch him! Tons of plot holes... Don't really understand how the guy gets the money to travel from one side to another side of the country. The bad guy looks at times invincible. Way too unrealistic. A shame because it was very promising during the first hour and actors were very good. Lots of gripping moments made me think I was watching another top Korean movie but again the last half of the movie was too messy, didn't get it all. Fans of Korean movies will still like this I guess and that's why I rate it with a 3 stars.

One word to describe the whole thing: Dreadful! The acting, the dialogues ... All are ridiculous and I am not even talking about the multiple shots where you see planes flying because the director perhaps believed we would forget that they were living near the airport. Frankly it is a stupid movie with no substance whatsoever.

For fans of the Twilight series, same VFX. Gary Oldman could play in better movies. His role was limit ridiculous. Didn't like the whole movie but can't say it was dreadful. Not my cup of tea that's all!

Very sick, disturbing. liked it but the end is all of a sudden and I don't see the point of making a film about Self Mutilation and compulsion without getting deeper into the storyline. The end shows the main character alone and I would have liked to see the repercussions in her life. This French film is more about that woman whom starts discovering her body through mutilation and that's quite all. So yep like the previous review, it's awfully disturbing and awfully thin in terms of storyline. For fans of Martyrs and Inside which are French movies too. Might also please Takashi Miike's most extreme fans!

Remake of a foreign flick I have seen which for once wasn't made as well as the US version. All the big stars of this movie do not have the main roles. Quite good actually! Wasn't expected it from a flick with Stratham featuring 50 cents! Nice one.

Brilliant job from the actors, loved the dialogues, the characters, got a few laughs extra and the storyline keeps you interested. What else to ask for? Clooney was excellent...as always!

This movie was epic. High expectations after seeing the first DVD and this 2nd half was just as excellent. I had no idea where it was going and definitely surprising. Frankly for me this movie is one of the best Japanese movies I have seen and I have watched tons of them. The best film Sion Sono has made I guess. How a 4 hours movie has been able to thrill me as much! Incredibly brilliant! Actors are tremendous. This movie has in it the nastiest villain I've seen in a movie and you don't figure out especially in this second half. It could have been a masterpiece if there were not those quirky moments full of panties. Not for everyone but certainly for fans of crazy Asian cinema like I am!

What I like is the very good acting. Marsden has never been so good. What I hate is how the plot unfolds and gets too much improbable. The characters (especially the victims) just behave unlogically and you wonder if they are humans! So the real weakness of the movie might be the script and unfortunately that's all it takes to turn a good movie into a bad one. A shame when it started so well and the actors were doing such a good job.

Actors are great and it was filmed particularly well. A nice and simple little movie where characters live a real drama in an ordinary life. Interesting!

Also felt at points heads were too big for the bodies of the characters still looks like a billion dollars. A lot of action which I felt was too much at times ... Jump after jump, stunts after stunts... But well that's a Tintin adventure! I guess it looked quite a bit like an high voltage Indiana Jones indeed.

Another Sion Sono surprising film. Found it irresistible. Filmed like not many director would have done. Might confuse many viewers but that's what Sono wants. The story is brilliantly told, many situations are a real fun and had a few laughs. Am impatient to watch the 2nd part.

What a disappointment! Starts ok but gets absurd. For a story happening 70 years ago or so didn't know technology for planes, cars ... We're so advanced! What a joke of a movie.

Great acting for a great French movie however in terms of being realistic, there are few scenes that are just too much and are quite laughable. Still it is a good movies with cool action and gripping plot.

Despite a weak beginning (cliche and some bad acting) and looking fake visual fx, it gets heaps better once the monster is released (wait about 30 minutes) and it is surely the best creature flick I have seen for a very long time, the last one was THE HOST also from Korea. The creature is really impressing and the plot is also quite original. 4 stars because such movies are rare.

One of the weirdest Japanese movies I have seen. Sion Sono, the director is in my opinion one of the best Japan has to offer and his films are character based. Women are in his films perverse and sex objects of weak even more pervert men. His characters are indeed far to be regular guys or women even if in the beginning they all look like they are. So far I could label Sono's films as a real ride or descent to hell or madness. We are on the thin line between erotism and porn here.This movie is so bizarre in so many points: The storyline, the timeline, the twist... I wouldn't recommend this film to people who haven't watched Sono's films before. Visitor Q from Takashi Miike could be quite close to Guilty Of Romance but Sono's particular style is really unique and might confuse many viewers. 3 stars for the originality.

A weak storyline however a very good young actress... Unfortunately not enough in this movie to keep you satisfied as the end is too sudden and impossible. A shame as it looked promising.

Cheap flick with b actors and laughable storyline, action and special fx.

Not as good as the original X men series. Slow pace, actors not in the right role, some of the costumes and make-up are also a bit dodgy! You would expect better look with the money needed to make this. Not a bad movie but you have to wait a way too long for the best bit which is the final confrontation.

Didn't find this very interesting. First, why this title? Norwegian wood! A Japanese movie with nothing whatsoever related to Norway. Second all the women in this movie are depicted as sexual weirdos. Not the best from this country, very low pace. Am a big fan of Japanese flicks and this one is simply boring from start to finish.

Great photography and special fx however it could have been greater if the storyline would leave the parents and their staff to behave like human beings! Katie Holmes and Guy Pierce could be considered as the worst parents ever! I would have punched both of them so hopeless they were to react, make logical decisions... It was so dumb that they made me believe that they were nasties part of the whole plot. Frankly could have been a four stars movie but the characters were too damned stupid and flaws in the script let the movie down. Too bad. The end leaves you with some doubts and you also wonder why those creatures which are kind of a rat and small monkey blend together are so strong! It looks like they could have been walked on and crushed easily! Also they were way too intelligent, could get the automatic door worked on and lights switched off...for middle age or such an ancient period creatures, bravo!

Very realistic acting for a small movie with a simple story like France is used to make. Nothing to be excited about. What an ordinary life in France actually is and feels.

Once you get over the stupid dialogues and ridiculous costume, it gets pretty alright and equal to The Hulk or Iron Man actually which isn't bad. Definitely far better than THOR which was a real stinker. The Green Lantern visual effects are splendid and the storyline is ok with great villain.

Didn't like it much. Long movie for a conventional, simplistic Hollywood movie. Based on a true story, didn't feel like Butler was right for the role. Also some of the dialogues especially between the father and daughter sound ridiculous. Also the the beginning of the movie takes the story to a fast pace and all of a sudden what was a bad guy decides to turn to god. Lack of pain, lack of remorse and how it seems too easy make this film too superficial.

French Canadian movie well acted with an original and twisted storyline. Surprisingly good! Gripping, gruesome and thrilling atmosphere.

Very predictable French thriller, where is the suspense? The bad guy is far to be convincing. They could have chosen a creepier actor. The storyline has a lot of flashbacks, dream sequences and repeated scenes which bring nothing to the story. Many scenes are ridiculously implausible and the characters act very much like they wouldn't do in the real life. The dialogues sound so unreal. Sincerely AWFUL.

Enjoyed but could have been more exciting. Political thriller with great actors in it and well directed. All the skills needed are in this movie and wasn't bored a minute however without such actors, I wonder if it would have been that good because looking back at it, nothing much really happens in this. If you are after some action you might just pass and find something else.

Want a bad movie? Pick that one. Dreadful from A to Z. Cardboard characters and tears looking so fake. Total mediocre dialogues said by actors who sound like reading their line. You won't believe how bad this is unless you see it. 60 cents is so bad at acting, should stick to rap. Sometimes you have the feeling that the actors saying their poor dialogues are going to laugh so bad it is. Some scenes make no sense at all. I had for a minute the impression this flick was a comedy because every it is so ridiculous. Bruce Willis can't get good movies to play in anymore or what?

Enjoyed it. In the vein of Hangover and Roadtrip Had a few laugh and some good flashbacks from the 80s. The end is cool and actually is a nice twist.

Wow this is really a good flick. Loved it in the 80s and still love it now. The retro soundtrack is not a killer but gosh the addiction depicted in this is brilliant. The fx looks old yep but still look impressing. A small low budget that would have deserved 4 stars but because of the permanent keyboard as a soundtrack, I ll give it a 3.

Paul Giamatti is a great actor and the comedy side of this movie makes him shine however it is funny the first 30/45 minutes then it turns into a weird drama slow in pace and even a talentuous actor such as Giamatti can't save. Nothing much happen then just a flat, bland movie that you will forget with a trace in your soul. If you are after something exciting then choose something else. One star for Giamatti, Zero for the rest of this boring movie.

Brilliant acting from Clooney and in the end he is just incredible. This movie has nothing to do with Hollywood blockbusters or action flicks Clooney has done before. This movie looks European, feels European and all the actors are really good. Certainly the best role for George Clooney with Up In The Air. This movie made me think in someways to In Bruges. Not to miss! No need tenth of stars, one is enough. Clooney shows in this movie why he is where he is.

Pretty good movie from Hong Kong, original and sometimes confusing but well made, directed and acted. Jonnhy To has shown how good he is and he shows it here again. I don't understand how sometimes his movies aren't as great as this one for example. Fan of Asian cinema, this movie is a great pick.

Ok movie but many flaws in the storyline. The girl escapes naked with nothing and reappear with clothing when the bad guys got rid of everything! Still it's watchable with less emphasis on the rape if compared to the original. The bad guys acting and dialogues are very good while I wasn't convincing by the victim character.

Andy Garcia as the president of Georgia? What a joke! Miscasting definitely, this role wasn't for him. Straight from the beginning the dialogue sounds childish, the actors arent very convincing including Garcia and his sounding too fake accent. Many weak scenes as well...The journalist being saved by soldiers while Irakians are shouting asking "where are you from?" that's what I call unrealistic dialogues. Val Kimer chatting from/in his bathtub? Can we get even more ridiculous? In a wedding obviously the hero saves the gorgeous chick..he is not going to save an ugly one, that's for sure! All this happen in the 20 first minutes of the movie, can't say it did start well. Alright the picture looks fantastic but for a film in which the dialogue leads the storyline (indeed lots of it) you need a great script and unfortunately that's not the case here. For a film that wants to relate real facts, too many elements aren't working. The characterization is pretty bad. Didn't feel for them, found them all quite antipathic, hard to identify with and were more like piece of talking cardboards. Too many scenes were also predictable (Hollywood style obviously) and again the dialogues... boring!

Excellent work from the actors and Polanski. A political thriller which builds up and keeps the viewer's attention high up. Loved the atmospheric and cold mood in this movie. Mcgregor is great in this and was wondering how he'd end up in the next minute. Brilliant! Not a big fan of Brosnan nor of political thriller so this one convinced me.

Hideo Nakata (the director of the original THE RING) made this and it's a British movie, are you kidding me? The first 20 minutes are shocking and looks ridiculous but I decided to get along with the whole weird concept of the movie which is teenagers surfing online meet in a chat room and when they do, you see them sitting on chairs in a real room. The plot is that one of the teens manipulates the others which is absurd because kids of that age getting influenced by some guys they never met and to do terrible things more or less to themselves and their own families are more unlikely to happen. So not only the whole look of the movie is ridiculous but the storyline is way too implausible. Nakata has proved to be an excellent filmmaker but tried something different here and fully failed with that one. Dialogues are so awkward in this but well arent kids chatting that way online?

Excellent movie from Korea. Thriller with Drama made it very interesting with great acting and characters. The director confuses the viewer as you aren't figuring out who is who and where it is going but the end is masterfully executed and goes further than what you might guess when you think the end is coming. This is Korean Cinema as its best.

Not bad but typically Korean therefore nothing new in the way the storyline develops making the movie quite predictable and unoriginal if you are fan of Korean movies. The fight scenes look real and are excellent. For Korean movie fans only!

Didn't find the actors quite convincing and knowing the end, I don't understand why they couldn't beat the hell out of them. Didn't find it scary. The plot is quite like The Strangers. Low budget, could have done without watching it as this flick was actually weak. Compared to The Strangers, Them lacks in fright and the second part of the movie is simply a long Hide and Seek.

Despite a good performance from Curtis, his fake nose which changes from one shot to another was quite ridiculous, the split screens technic very annoying, Henry Fonda's acting was quite weak. This.movie has aged badly and the filmmaking style and acting look very retro. I give two stars for Tony Curtis's performance. He was one of the Hollywood 's great. Note that the film is a fictional version of what really happened then. Desalvo had no double personality and might actually not have been the real strangler.

What a stupid movie! A cheap rip off of Texas Chainsaw Massacre with idiot and grotesque characters saying laughable lines. Mediocrity from the actors, the cinematography, the direction are just adding up to the pile of trash ths movie really is. This has been made by Romero's son, the son of a Horror director? I am sure the son of a postman or plumber could have done better job!

Didn't find anything good in this movie. The storyline is weak, the acting quite bad and sometimes awkwardly stupid. The fight scenes aren't even as convincing as the other reviews have said. A lot of impossible moves and jumps. Typical Chinese movie with bad acting, lack of substances for too many fights.

Not far from OPEN WATER, this Aussie flick is a real gem once you have passed the 10/15 minutes beginning the movie which looks more like Home And Away. After that it's all good and the work with the sharks is excellent, the soundtrack adds to the nerves as JAWS did at the time. A really good surprise indeed.

Want a tacky movie? Here is one: Cowboys, bandits, indians and Aliens! I don't understand why Daniel Craig is playing in such a dumb movie. It is so bad that I was bored from the first minutes. The action and characters are so previsible. The scenes have been seen in tons of other movies that frankly you figure out the whole movie before it ends. All the elements of a Hollywood movie are there good versus bad. Love story, happy end.... 2011 was the year of a lot of bad movies and Cowboys and Aliens is definitely in the list between Thor, Rise of the planet of the apes and Battle of LA. Well iif you love no brainer movies like Independence Day or Transformers then you might like this.

Boring US movie full of flashbacks and cliches. It's not because there is blood that's interesting. A shame as the fights, the stunts are spectacular. However this flick has been made for the US market so don't expect much drama. The worst thing in this movie is to see Japanese in Japan speaking English between them. Dreadful!

Surrealism ... Not sure how to classify it. It's a comedy but it is quite claustrophobic, absurd and they certainly had a good time filming and acting it but the question is: Is it interesting for the viewer? Am perplexed. Like the movie title clearlys states it, what this movie is really about? ...Nothing. The two characters are quite dumb in the Dumb and Dumber kind of way and they get to a wold of nothing, all white and with the characteristic of a trampolin! Surely you got it, it is a weird flick with mainly just 2 characters for nearly the whole movie and you shouldn't waste your time with this!

Great Spanish Thriller with awesome acting, plot, suspense and dialogues. Was unexpected to see such quality film out from Spain. I guessed who was the killer but still it was a gripping high tension movie and they are pretty rare these days.

Trying to copy Tarentino's way of filming and even found some of the scenes/shots to be quite similar to some found in Tarentino's movies such as Kill Bill/Pulp Fiction/Deathproof. With Whitaker and Bruce Willis in it, my idea was its gonna be interesting as I don't imagine Whitaker playing In a thick Hollywood action movie like Willis is used to. Anyway here is my verdict: Tons of flashbacks, scenes being repeated again and again, Whitaker with a Mexican/Spanish accent, Willis with a weird accent and definitely in the wrong character. A real mess. Also the dialogues are so weak like the storyline by the way that even major actors can't save. Aaron Harvey is a wannabe tarentino and copying a gifted director doesn't necessarily make a director good.

Loved it. Goslin is excellent in this role, quiet but strong. Found this movie captivating and the tension building up like the nerves of Goslin's character. Rare are good Hollywood movies So for once go ahead.

Brilliant acting, perfect role for Michael Shannon. Slow pace building up 'till the end. Nice approach of what mental illness might feel, look and perceived by others.

A very improbable "wanna be"realistic escalation of a fraternity prank turning into a stupid and awkward mess. Too unrealistic as things just add up and never stop to be added up. It's so bad that it quickly gets silly. AS IF!

Gosh! This is bad! The special fx are great but the lack of plot, the amateurish cinematography, the little dialogues and acting are simply very poor. They did have great african scenery to film in but didn't know how to. Definitely low budget with lack of talents behind the camera. On the other hand you can't expect better in terms of gory effects. To resume, this movie is boring because it's got no real storyline except guys not very talkative wandering in a Zombie infested land.

Agreeably surprised for a US thriller. Nice twist I haven't seen coming. Great action avoiding repeating other flicks of the genre even if there is a feel of "d?j? vu".

Far to be a great movie and scary, watching this flick today is like watching an old serie on tv. Looks older than it is. Ron Perlman looks so young in this, the plot is a mix between a Polar, Hellraiser and a vampire movie. Filmed in Mexico and in Spanish, won't please everybody. Frankly you don't need to waste your time on this. Not worth the movies Del Toro directed later in his career.

Average with not much to reveal that you haven't seen in other movies however still ok to watch. Was expecting much more and more exciting though.

3 guys stucked on a chair. When it starts I sigh so bad the dialogue and the actors were then it got better when they got stuck. Unfortunately the dialogues remained terrible and the acting was dreadful. The rest of this flick was very improbable. I was shocked this has been compared to Jaws. It's not worth Open Water 1 or 2. A very low budget to avoid!

Slow at times, the concept remains interesting. The problem is so many scenes could have been avoided. The movie seems so long. Some of the scenes are grandiose but so many boring bits lets the movie down. Half the movie I hoped The end was for soon. You can find better to watch.

This French comedy was a real pleasure to watch, well acted and with a sensational humor all way long.

Joe Dante,s return to the genre that made him known. The Hole story has a Stephen King feel to it. Unfortunately the presence of too much light in the photography spoils the creepy elements of the movie. A pity knowing that it could have been more frightening. Dante misses the point. Seeing ghosts in full light or an animated puppet arent going to scare you much if you are over 10 yo. Dante's got the skills but he keeps making movies that could have been convincing 20 or 30 years ago. Today a film like The Holwins out of fashion I might say. The end especially is disappointing and looks more like a Disney movie or a Harry Potter so it might please kids indeed. Too bad!

RIDICULOUS from start to finish. This is way too much for my liking. The main ape looks way to human to start with then how can it talk even if we would have created some treatment capable to get monkeys more intelligent, monkeys can't talk, it is biologically impossible. The treatment/medicine is inhaled and acts on the brain? Sorry but this movie is simply pure rubbish and I was a fan of the old planet of the apes which was logical compared to this imbecile flick.

A good movie however I found Ben Kingsley not quite the right actor for the role. We could compare that movie to Donnie Brasco.

Interesting, well acted sometimes a bit slow but worth the watch. Give it 3 stars because it's not a masterpiece deserving five stars and felt was bit too long and slow to deserve 4 stars.

Great cast, excellent acting for a creepy story on madness. I enjoyed and reminded me of The Shining even if the end is confusing and lack of explanations. The plot is so odd, so twisted. A real surprise as I have not heard about this movie. Don't expect the fright of your life. What makes this movie interesting is the tension you will feel watching it again a lot like the feeling you had while watching The Shining.

We are far from the classic "The Exorcism". Exorcismus is a low budget with bad photography, tons of cliches and dreadful acting. What I hate the most is the sound, gosh that's bad! Either was too loud or we couldn't hear what people were saying. Anyway the lack of money makes this movie very superficial and the scary bits actually quite ridiculous, the actors were little convincing the dialogues quite funny. It would have been better if only the guys behind the camera were more talented. Looks like filmed with a handheld camera. Don't waste your time.

Not as good as the first one which was delirious. This new episode with the guys is just a pale copy of the original with much less surprises and laughs. The funniest part is the pictures in the end of the movie. Also with a speedboat riding from Bkk to the South of Thailand in a few hours...total BS. Still it's not a bad movie but could have been much better. Disappointing!

The acting makes this movie interesting as the slow pace would normally make me switch off the Tv but still I keep watching til the end and didn't feel bored watching it. The story is quite simple and the action quite non existent, it's like watching what life is sometimes about when living as a couple, nothing more but ordinary people.

Excellent remake or prequel (as you will understand in the end and if you have seen the original) The special effects are so good, the action, the acting ...all good. Worth a watch even if you have seen the original.

Trying to replicate the recipe Crowe/Scott from Gladiator just for the sake to cash in, here's Robin Hood with 2 hours and a half duration. A VERY long movie with not much substances in it. While I felt for the gladiator, I haven't felt much for any of the characters in RH. Perhaps Crowe doesn't have what Errol Flynn had. Flynn was quite larger than life as Robin Hood actually and getting Crowe filling those shoes had to be a failure.. We all know the legendary Robin Hood and we know that he definitely doesn't look like Crowe. Even Costner did a better job at the time. This Russel Crowe/Ridley Scott Robin Hood is far from what the story we all know and accepting this new view on that story is not easy. This Robin Hood is perhaps closer to Braveheart (without reaching the same level though) than it is of popular Robin Hood beliefs. To give you an example, in this RH movie, Robin actually fights with/ffor the king of England against a French invasion!

Oh my! Oh my! Haven't heard that Daniel Craig & Naomi Watts played this until I saw it on Quickflix and now I know why! Craig looks so wrong in this and the acting also is. Welcome to the full clich?s world of Hollywood. This movie is a real mess, is badly written and is so ridiculous at times that it gets funny. The storyline was so obvious right from the beginning but I couldn't believe it so I kept watching expecting a last minute twist proving me wrong...and the twist came revealing an unrealistic plot ...fortunately James Bond was there to save the good ones (living) and they happily lived ever after. Worst flick have watched so far featuring Daniel Craig.

Being a fan of Woody Allen, I am always excited when I get to see his new film. First let's talk about Wilson who brilliantly shines in this. Allen and Wilson make a great union and collaboration. The dialogues as always with Allen are a gem. Now what I just didn't get is the storyline. Wilson visits Paris with his in laws and future then every night he is part of the Parisian history, he encounters Hemmingway, Picasso, Dali... And all the celebrities of that "Belle ?poque" period. Who knows how? So here he is Wilson's character is in today's Paris during the day and at night in the past with Lautrec, Fitzgerald... My gosh I found it hard to watch. We all know how Allen's such a weird imagination but for me the story was silly and childish and even Wilson and all the other talents in this movie can't make me forget how stupid that movie was. Allen's got these old ideas about Paris and for sure seeing where he's filmed the French capital looks wonderful. Falling in love with Paris from a 5 star hotel and chauffeured limousine is easy however the reality isn't part of this film. It's all in Allen's imagination!

Had a lot of bad apprehensions about it and I was surprised to realize how old Tom Hanks looks in this. Anyway the big surprise was that I was actually enjoying it. Not a big fan of Julia Roberts and frankly she always acts the same type of roles however the other actors and especially Tom Hanks are doing a real good job to make us forget how far this story is from the reality of life. A nice feeling good comedy with agreeable characters.

This movie was promising from the start but then falls into the easy way out with BIG coincidences and an (happy of course) end that I found terribly awkward. When you get to the end you realize that you have just watched a boring US movie or/and the worst flick Clint Eastwood ever directed. A waste of time! How Eastwood was interested enough in life after death, already sounds so wrong as the scientific facts discussed in this movie. It's like the guy who wrote this didn't look mucscientist science has proved especially psychiatric facts about near death experience. Garbage!

Much better than the US remake with Russel Crowe (the next 3 days), this French movie's got more substance and less BS than the US remake. While the US remake was simply implausible and the characters way too unrealistics, the French original brings more sensibility, more drama giving the main character real reasons to do what he's doing. I understand better why and how things the Yankees decided to erase fpr commercial reasons. I wish have seen this version first and the US later or never.

This movie is so over the top, can't believe Russel Crowe is playing in this! So many coincidences with tons of cliches. The cop looking for a button 3 years later...why? What for? The cop who runs from one subway station to the next one and arrives there as if he had walked just a few steps! The same cop anywhere he looks, gets to see Russel Crowe even when this one has changed clothes and is in the middle of a crowd...COME ON! The story is somewhat gripping and still worthes a watch if you had nothing else better watching which would surprise me. Russel Crowe remains a good actor but his character is simply too much and his actions are so stupid and so implausible that you actually forget that Russel is playing such a dumb character.

Low budget flick with a weak script, bad acting, very weak dialogues and plot. Amateurish!

Was expected much better especially that the first hour was pretty ok but then the movie gets worse. Between time in the plane, in cars in different middle east countries and without nothing really happening except dialogues, I was bored. Not worth nearly 3 hours of your time.

Censored in Australia, it's still the sickest movie I've ever seen. If you thought the first one was sick well this one is hundred times sicker and could be categorized as Hard Core or Porn Gore. The first Human Centipede was clinically sterile. The surgeon, his house were filmed in a way where white, clarity were omnipresent. Filmed partly during the day, the large windows of the surgeons house were quite a symbol in this sense. The second chapter is the whole opposite. It is claustrophobic, it's filmed in black and white, blood appears therefore black, the victims are locked up in a filthy warehouse, Martin, the baddie is a dirty obsessive and repulsive madman. The doctor in the first movie was a composed character while Martin is indeed compulsively insane. Self promotion from the director, the movie starts from Martin's obsession for the first human centipede movie. Have no idea what the Australian censorship has cut but even without the censored parts, this movie is trash and sick. It made me think of the First gore flicks made in the US in the 50/60s for some reasons and Tom Six has the talent to find strange faces for his villain. Martin will definitely remain in your mind for awhile. He could be acting in a David Lynch flick. For going so far in the gore, in the insane and shocking on screen, Human Centipede 2 is a premiere when you consider that Martin doesn't say a word and the whole movie is about him. Unlike the first episode, we don't get to know the victims. It's all about the villain this time. Do you want to be shocked?

Australian low budget movie with terrible sound and photography. It is like watching a bad quality soap. Am not sure what it's happening with the sound by the way. Quickflix might check that out. Also the music ... Sounds so cheap Gosh! This is Australian cinema? Play it and you won't last 30 minutes so bad it is. It's like the director wanted to do a polar and tried as much as he could to use a nearly black and white photography. Actors and cars look like from the fifties. Don't waste your time. This is no SIN CITY and UNDERBELLY even looks better than that.

Michael Caine is one of the best actors and he could turn the worst dialogues in real performances. The storyline is previsible and some of the dialogues are pretty poor however the actors including Caine gives their best saving the whole movie. It could have been a very plain vigilante flick with quite a lot of cliches in the characters and action. Alone Michael Caine's performance is a 4 stars and I don't understand how an actor of this caliber plays in such little movies. Anyway worth a watch.

Not bad for the first half. Timberlake plays alright. The storyline is fine despite the fact I would have liked to see people getting older. Didn't like the romance scenes which are typical from Hollywood and actually useless for the movie itself. Conclusion - Surprisingly alright to entertain without having to think too much about realism. To be clear this is an action movie, not a drama. It is as realistic as Total Recall or The Island for example. Also Coincidences are plenty like in most Hollywood movies and the second half of the movie falls into the cliche ...chase, good versus bad, good winning, heroism and unfortunately flaws and awkward scenes. A very politically correct and previsible movie indeed.

Frankly Neil Marshal should stick to the Horror genre requesting little money to be effective. Centurion is a low budget and it shows. It's no Gladiator, believe me. The storyline is weak, the violence is gratuitous, the acting is sometimes awkward. You won't give a fxxx of the characters so in the end of the day, this movie is about Romans fighting Picts and the rest is too superficial. We are far from Kurosawa's masterpieces.

Alright the photography is nice and the acting is great which also means the director knows what he was doing but gosh this movie is over 2 hours and the pace is so slow that it looks like nothing really happens or it happens with such slowness that it is hard to keep track. It is easy indeed to get sleepy between the quiet parts which is quite a pity considering the dramatic subject this movie is about. If you are looking for an action movie, well that's not it. By picking this movie, you know you will have to be real patient and attentive. It is all in German and with a voice over as this story is told by one of the characters young at the time. This movie is really hard to rate as it is well made, the acting and directing are very good however again this movie would have been better with half an hour or more less. Anyway didn't like it much but can't give more or less than 3 stars.

Extreme and sick however not bad for a low budget. I liked the fact that they add a Japanese actor and plays with the culture difference. Alright the acting is not so good and it's not really scary but those who liked gore like the old Reanimator ...might like the madness. Don't take it seriously and you will realize that the acting, the story are actually quite absurd and funny. The bad guy plays his role like a Frankestein and the old Hammer Dracula... Not sure he actually knows how to act but surprisingly It is the reason why he looks like.out of this world. Definitely worth a watch!

This film has nothing much you haven't seen before. Good acting but unoriginal. Why should you pick this when you have seen better before? Tons of other movies to be seen. The storyline is flat and has nothing to be excited about.

Brilliant acting, long movie but definitely worth a watch. By watching this movie you will find out about the French penitentiary world. Really enjoyed despite its length, it's gripping enough and it's not only happening in jail. French subtitles because French movie, it's about gang, racial discrimination and Corsica mafia. I give 3 stars only because I thought some of the scenes were quite useless not moving the plot forward, it's over 2 hours length and could have done as well in 90 minutes.

Are you kidding me? The acting is so off, the story is stupid and has flaws. The plot is ridiculous. Frankly the actors were terrible and still can't believe it. From the beginning I thought they were playing off for a purpose but no! Waste of time. Guaranteed.

Oh dear! Have seen tons of Japanese movies but that one is a real bore The pace is so slow that you wonder if the director knew what he was doing next. You have silly scenes and characters. Reading the reviews here, I was expecting a top notch movie and what I got is a silly film happening most of the time in the dark, an ALIEN rip off with bad special effects and average acting. Don't waste your time, this movie copies others that was made in the genre.

I have watched a lot of Korean period movies but I am a fan of Japanese and Chinese period films so I had high expectations as Korean thrillers are often originals and excellent. What a disappointment! I felt bored and it is a long movie. Didn't feel the storyline was interesting enough and there was quite a lot of cliches in this. The fight scenes, the acting, the filming were great but a pity the plot wasn't.

Low budget,, weak plot, you might pass this one and find something else if you are after entertainment or fright because there is none in this. Despite the lack of budget, the director succeeds to film this pretty well but in the end the weakness of the story in itself makes the movie quite uninteresting

The storyline is simple, plain and akward. I am not sure why in the hell the main character once rich didnt pay the Russian loanshark and it's a real pity that the end is so dreadful. The blood licking scene is ridiculout and the end is confusing. Deniro has little to play in this.

This movie has the silliest twist ever and you won't believe when you find it out, a pity as the acting and storyline are quite good.

Some bad acting and few bad special effects are a real let down also the twist is quite silly. It will keep you watching after all but don't expect the scare of your life or even less a masterpiece. What would you expect of a few actors blocked in a lift anyway?

Giamatti is always excellent. A pity his makeup when old is a bit dodgy. Not bad anyway but not excellent either. Not sure what it's missing to make that one a great movie. Perhaps the weakness of this movie is that Barney is actually not someone you want to be identified with so when comes the end haven't felt sadness but more like well he's been living all these years a life quite luxurious... Where is the real drama in it? Still a good movie.

Slow pace to build up, you expect much more and in the end you just feel like "where is the story?" so disappointing it is. The end is so sudden. It's like it took ages to bring us somewhere and when the story should finally start you get to the end. 3 stars for the acting and the photography.

Will Ferrel in a serious role! Indeed no silly joke or comedy in here however I wonder why is he playing in such a boring movie. The director tries to reflect feelings but Will has a role that doesn't inspire sympathy at all. The acting is pretty good but again the storyline is so weak that you just don't really care. It's a bit of all the same all along so after the first 30 minutes you can just switch off as the movie has nothing to give new. The story of a loser who loses everything and ends with nothing.

Not a big fan of western however I like quite a lot Cohen's work. The acting and directing are superbe, the storyline is quite simple. Some of the actors I usually don't enjoy are in this incredibly good. The Cohen's brothers have done an excellent job of what could have been a very cliche, boring plot. You will wonder why you are keeping watching a story so unoriginal and that's what makes the difference between great directing and poor one.

It's like a 10 000 volts Deathwish ( remember Charles Bronson) ... so if u know what the exploitation genre is, if you can get over the Gore, the violence, the cheesy dialogues and sfx, this flick is for you. Violence, nasty nasties, tons of blood, bad cops... This technicolor movie is for you. Anything subtle in this just over the top exaggeration for everything. Stupidly funny with a 80's feel to it.

Could have been better and was pleased how the story went to however the end is a miss because way over the top. Certainly the most disappointing Korean flick I have watched in all my life. The end is really awkward.

B O R I N G and I an a fan of French cinema.! Dialogues and more dialogues. You'd rather have a good night sleep than watching this because after 45 minutes in the movie nothing major has happened. Dreadful!

This movie had the potential to be as scary as The GRUDGE however some bad FX turned the movie in.a laugh. Some good fright and nice twists, good acting, this flick reminded me of The Cure from the same director. The end was over the top and puzzled me as I finally thought that I didn't understand what I thought I had understood. Nice effort starting like a Crime and actually turning into a ghost movie.

Yakuza movie, not the best from Kitano but still ok to watch. The storyline is sometimes going nowhere and Kitano's time on screen is not as long as expected however when he is on screen, it's getting more interesting. The problem of this movie is certainly due on the number of characters. The story should have focused more on Kitano's team to feel more for them. Instead the action is mixed between different clans in the same family.

Fan of Clive Barker, I thought That can't be as bad as it sounds. Unfortunately it is. It's a very weak film with poor acting and special effects. The script, the storyline, the dialogue ... Bad bad bad. Honestly it is so bad that it is funny at times. Example... The haunted house is shaking and they haven't found better trick but to shake the camera. The ghosts are writing stuff on walls with a black marker.. Wow so scary! Clive Barker didn't write the script so don't be surprise by the mediocrity of this little movie. Worse sfx ever.

Not the best Korean movie I have seen, average in some ways however the acting is top notch and the storyline is interesting enough to keep watching. For those who liked The Chaser or Memory Of Murders, this one is pretty close without the thrill. A good twist though... Havent seen it coming.

Despite some VFX looking cheap right in the beginning, I kept watching and if you aren't asking too much from it, it is an OK movie. Not the best of the series. Just another flick far to be good enough to remember it, far to be bad enough to hate it. To resume, just another installment of RE for fans only.

Moving slowly towards what this movie is really about: Schizophrenia! Nice visual effects, good acting, Twisted storytelling playing with reality and unreal, you will ask sometimes what the hell you are watching. Not the best movie of the year however somewhat interesting if you aren't expecting too much from a movie which had such a hype everywhere. Don't be too impatient as it is SLOW and you might sometimes feel bored. A positive thing is that you don't need to love ballet to like it!

The acting in this movie is a real gem and without it the story would simply be boring. The plot is far to be original. The DVD cover says the funniest movie of the year! Gosh we havent laughed much that year then. 5 stars acting yeah and two stars for the story. I give it a global 3

Filmed in black and white, this is the stupidest voluntarily made flick I have seen. The main antagonist and protagonist are supposed to be twins and one is white, the other black! The "wannabe smart" director wanted to film something different and yes it is but gosh! How stupid it looks with many "wanna be" artsy shots playing mainly with the black and the white colours. What a waste of time.

45 minutes in it and nothing really happens except back and forth on two stories and lots of dialogues. Non sense, boring, waste of time. Ryan Phillippe in some kind of masked private investigator? No thanks!

Brittany Murphy was atrocious in this! They could have chosen better actress and the flick could have been quite ok. Her acting was over the top. The storyline was also quite stupid and awkward at times. I am not a big fan of Lost In Translation but compared to Ramen Girl, LIT is a masterpiece.

A great little movie with touching characters, simple storyline, great dialogues and acting. A real surprise to see Garcia in an average Jo kind of roles and it suits him well. Had great fun watching this.

The US remake of a French movie ... Very often the US can't translate the French humor to screen but this time I was agreeably surprised, Quite different from the French storyline, It was alright. Had a couple of good laughs. You will find in it a few actors from Flight of the concord and for those who love Steve Carell, well they will for sure find here his usual humor, Enjoy!

What a stupid storyline! Absurd is the word perfectly defining this movie.

What a stupid movie. How Thor's speaking English? Oh yeah, his father Anthony Hopkins, his father the king tea ugly him. Seriously how can they spend 150 million dollars for such a dumb movie. This is pure Hollywood c..p.

My gosh! This flick is labelled Spielberg all over and i was bored to death. If you like ET perhaps that's the movie for you. For me well I have seen movies like that a million times with all too cliches characters. I enjoyed the beginning but once you realize what you are actually watching ( a flick for 13/14 yo ...a popcorn movie) well you don't really need to keep watching as you know how it's going to end.... With smiles, happy ending, everybody is beautiful and we all love each other.

Not the best Miike, not the best Samurai movies either. The comparison with Kurosawa's 7th samurai is easy but while the 7th Samurai is an all time masterpiece, 13 assassins is basically just another samurai flick with a long long long fight in the end. Next...

French flick with a diabolic Beatrice Dalle who could scare any US villains you might have seen (Jason, Freddy, Michael Myers...) Certainly the scariest movie of 2011. There is tons of blood, lots of fright. Unfortunately the scenes with the cops are quite unrealistic and you will think AS IF.. Also the twist is a bit OFF and actually useless. They didn't need it. Thumbs up for Beatrice Dalle who doesn't need a mask or weird claws to scare the xxxx off anyone. If Gore doesn't bother you then watch INSIDE. An anti-Hollywood movie made in France.

For those who loved THE HOST also from Korea, CHAW is a gentle action creature comedy. Starts like a comedy to actually end more like a full action packed flick. Funny, nicely made (especially the creature), if you like asian cinema, this is surprisingly good.

Hollywood rubbish with a ridiculous storyline and ackward dialogues. I just can't believe how stupid the plot was. Coming from G. Butler I am even more surprised. Dumb, dumb, dumb!

Considering the duration of the movie and not being a fan of Army, Soldier flicks, I was heaps surprised seeing myself enjoying The Hurt Locker. I understand why it got some academy awards. The actors are excellent and the tension is gripping. An excellent movie with the type of realistic feel to it. MUST SEE!

An excellent flick, a real gem and surprise as I have not heard from it until I actually watch it. I wasn't sure about the 2 actors as they use to play nice guys and here they are playing "baddies"..actually that the whole surprise, Ruffalo and Hawke show their skills and quickly you are forgetting that they are actually criminals. Anyway Brian Goodman is telling his own story that he knows well. I recommend it. Life isn't pink and that's exactly what Goodman shows here. If you are after action and supermen, don't get this!

At least they should have chosen a more suitable actor. I don't feel Damon was right for the role. The story could have been told in a better way. I didn't get the whole thing especially when we find out about all those millions of $. Didn't feel they were living a wealthy life and we only heard about it when the wife is telling about those 2 cars they never used. Frankly this movie was quite a mess despite the actors who tried their best. A pity!

Was quite slow and boring the first hour. Why making a 2 hours flick with so little substance? Jude Law as a doctor? Come ON! To put in your collection next to Van Helsing and The league of extraordinary gentlemen. If you liked those 2, well SH is for you. Won't watch twice that's for sure.
