Fun family viewing,I enjoyed this more than I expected,some great laughs.

Fantastic movie,I wasn't expecting much but was thrilled with the surprise of and entertaining,enjoyable movie with superb filming under the direction of the master director Marin Scorsese. Characters were great,actores were brilliant,perfect movie for the whole family. Loved it and highly recommended

Worth watching for the fantastic Tasmania scenery,not recommended for family viewing,though older kids okay. Good aussie film,wish they had made the lead role an aussie,would have been better.

This is a must for Muppet fans,a great fun family film with singalongs and laughs,personally this is better than the 'new one'

Not just for Michael Franti fans,a great doco which sees things from a different light,recommend this film for anyone remotely interested in humanity.

Such a different film a great insight into Mongolian life,you have to love the courage of these people,the kids are so encouraged take responsibilty and help out you envy the freedom which we can't give to our children in this society. Scenery and background is amazing.

Better than expected,Julia Roberts in top form,fun and inspirational movie. But read the book afterwards its even better.

Loved this movie,so glad to find out about this story,a must for dog lovers, Richard Gere was probably not the right person for this movie as it was a Japanese story,but he did well to show the emotional side of things. The dogs were great actors too!

My 11 year old liked it, I thought it wasn't too bad better than expected though typical too much fighting.

Must see doco,everyone should realize the importance of water and not to take it for granted.

Great film,a true story of survival of he fittest.Very moving.

If it wasn't for all the cute puppies I wouldn't have enjoyed,it is a bit silly really but the little kids will love it,don't expect anything remotely the same as the Marley movie.

Some great stunts,lots of laughs and some new twists in a well made movie. I enjoyed it more than I expected,most of the family can watch,a great movie.

If you are fan of Adam Sandler you will enjoy,not one of his best but I enjoyed it more than expected from the reviews I read,of course there are some things which are a bit overboard in true Sandler style which could have been left out so more younger members could watch.Still worth a laugh here and there.

Better than expected,but I am biased for Australian movies and the cast was great. Steven Curries in top form as usual. Not that into horse racing which didn't matter as it is more about the people than the horses but of course you have to watch a few races which take up time in the movie. Overall an enjoyable movie though very sad at times.

A great movie,though some scenes could have been left out which made it hard to watch at times,but overall it leaves you with inspiration and admiration for this guy who went through so much but was determined to get an education before you died. Awesome!

Love dogs,love this,a good family film to enjoy

Not being too much of a fan of Jim Carey I was surprised at this movie,it was better than expected although a bit too silly in parts the kids will love it. A fun family movie,easy to watch and enjoy some great laughs and a feel good message in the end.

Fun family viewing

We may have seen the reports on TV but we didn't know the whole story until now,a must see for those who wish to know what really happened to these kids and I can't believe they did this. And it still goes on in some countries of the world. Don't expect too much entertainment here,though a great cast,scenery and authentic backgrounds make for a excellent made Australian movie.Makes you want to wake up the kids and give them a hug,we are so lucky to have them.

I am all Fockered out,this was very disappointing,I thought it would of been more family friendly if they left a couple of unneccessary scenes out,don't watch with young children they just won't get it.The other Focker movies were much better. Those who like a cheap laugh witl enjoy though.

Cute movie, and some fun to have. Not one i would rate highly or watch again. Elton John's involvement is very noticeable and of course he also does the soundtrack.

Much better than I expected, I am not a real Jack Black fan but i didn't mind him in this. A fun and entertaining version of this movie. Though slightly overdone towards the end......those Americano's can't help themselves.

Loved it! Really different movie,and I don't know why it didn't get as much promotion when it was out in the cinemas. It's a fun movie and a great twist on old western movies. The whole family will enjoy. Worth watching more than once, Johnny Depp's voicing is amazing, you can hear the effort he put into Rango to make him stand out.

If you watched Yogi as a kid on TV you will at first be disappointed with his 'new' voice but otherwise they did a pretty good job on this movie, with plenty of laughs and fun. Great for all the family to watch together.

If you didn't catch these episodes on TV it's worth a watch, amazing how people live and it will leave you feeling like you should get on to those cleaning out jobs!

This one is more for the little kids in the family, I found it a bit slow, very cute and animals in real life setting is nice.

Worth a watch, kids will like it, nothing too special or different from your average kids flick, I got bored(parent) but my son enjoyed it.

Fantastic NZ movie, very funny in parts and a little sad in others, different from your average movie and refreshing change from hyped up American style movies. Does have marajuana smoking and plants in scenes why it probably got the M rating but nothing too much for older kids to handle. My 10 year old watched it and thought it was funny and he may even have learnt how lucky he is compared to these kids who were left to look after themselves most of the time.

Not as good as the first two, a tad disappointing, but still worth a watch if you are a Toy Story fan, you may need to sit with the littlest members of your family for part of it. I think they ran out of good ideas and it seems to be more for kids you have watched 1

Fantastic, really a surprise, I didn't realize it was a story of a famous American Football Hero and thought i wouldn't enjoy it, but its more about his life and struggles to get there. If you love true storyies about people you will love it. If you hate football you will still love it, just make a cuppa when the game is on. Despite the drawn out filming of the football game in the end you realize it really needed to be that long to explain the story. A great movie to share with teenagers who don't think they have got what it takes to succeed, will encourage them to never give up.

A Black and White classic, I read the reviews and thought it sounded good, this was actually better than expected and like all black and whites you forget you are not watching colour and sets the mood for the times of the film. A really enjoyable easy to watch movie if you want a laid back night and be left feeling happy at the end. My 10 year old was reluctant at first but even he ended up enjoying it. See James Cagney as a young charming actor and see why he was big in those days. Love the way they talked back then too. For lovers of classic old movies and those who want to watch something different.

Disappointing. Quite scary at first so not good for little kids but recommend for Halloween watching. Thought it was going to be really funny i only laughed once out aloud other times are quite lame. Eddie Murphy of course was great but not one of his better movies. If you like weird and haunted you might like it.

This was way better than i expected. At first i thought just another kids film but as it went on it was fantastic. Great story line, funny and amusing, and the kids will love it! Highly recommend for a family night in.

If you want to see why Johnny Depp and Leonardo Dicaprio are now classed as top actors this is a must see, early acting days for both when they were relatively unknown. Leonardo is amazing and portrays his character superbly. This hits all the emotions and overall is a good movie though not recommended for young children - they won't get it.

This was a surprise, if you love doco's about real people and heartwarming stories of human spirit and achievements its a must see. Also a definate for those who have intellectual disabled family or friends or for those who work with them. I watched this with my 10 year old who at first though 'boring' but he ended up getting a lot of enjoyment out of it. It leaves you with a feeling of 'if these guys can do it what am i waiting for!' and makes you want to push yourself more as they did. A wonderful doco,well made though at times it drags out a bit but hardly worth complaining about.

Mixed feelings on this one, great to hear Australian voices, bit weird in parts,at first i thought i wouldn't enjoy it but it got better and then weird again, but overall a very good film, though not recommended for the little kids can be a bit scary. The starwars type masks were a bit much,a bit overdone.

The cast is fantastic, including the furry ones. A tad lame in parts and the ending could have been better but overall a great family movie which will give you some great laughs. Don't expect a great storyline and you will enjoy it a lot more.The kids will love it.

Eddie Murphy saves this movie, he is brilliant. The kids will love it,very funny and a great new spin on the alien thing. I usually don't laugh that much but this had me cracking up! A great nights entertainment for the whole family. My advice don't eat popcorn you will choke laughing. Overall this was way better than i expected, my 10 year old boy loved it.

I was once an Archies fan but realize i don't like them anymore, my son struggled to enjoy it too, but if you like the Archies back when and don't mind animal noises and not so funny bits, you might enjoy a look back at what kids used to watch. Not one of my personal recommendations.

This was a surprise, as far as sequels go,this was a great twist on the first two,lots of fun for the kids, and parents might even enjoy it too. Recommended for a great night in with the whole family.

What a disappointment this was. Don't expect it to be much like the original they rehashed it too much. Pugsley was a bore,Gomez average not as funny,Mortisha was okay not as good as the original. Though Wednesday stole the show, Uncle Fester was a major disappointment,the voice was all wrong. They took the innocence out and most of the fun, filled it up with more freak out and plain silliness (not funny). Though if you have never seen the original Addams Family you will most likely enjoy it, not recommended for the very young though.

I wasn't sure about this movie at the start but in the end i really enjoyed it, wasn't as funny as i thought it would be,but it was a feel good happy movie.

You gotta love Adams creativity! A great film, touches on the human nature like no other film i have seen, even my 9 year old enjoyed it. Recommended for all 'clay animation' fans.

A must for Hank Williams fans, joins the 'dead at 29' list,but this celebrates his achievements,the soundtrack is fantastic,a lot to learn about Hank . Treat to see Hank jr,and the grandson Hank the third, both musicians too. I enjoyed this very much and left me wanting to hear more of Hank. A well made documentary.

Another masterpiece from Dreamworks. A great family movie although really little kids may get a bit scared of the dragons! A bit overdone/over dramatic in parts, but the characters really make it a great watch, though towards the end i was a bit over it, my 9 year old thought it was cool.

If you are after a 'nice' family movie to relax with this is good for that,if you want action and drama forget it! Of course the dogs are cute, but its all a bit humdrum, but my 9 year old still liked it even though at first he said it was going to be boring, it wasn't but its close. Still worth a watch, especially if you like dogs and nice stories with happy endings.

A great doco,everyone should see this. If you care about what you eat and where your food comes from you will be shocked. Are we really eating food thats good for us? Even though its made in the USA a lot of this lies true to Australians as we import more and more food from mulit-national companies. Get the kids to watch too as its very educational. If you don't do it already you will read the labels and ingredients on food you buy and discover its not all what you think it is. It will open your eyes and hopefully make you buy more wisely. And watch that corn!

A bit weird but wonderful, way ahead of its time,a trip back to the 60s, of course great soundtrack, if you love weird animation, and the Beatles you will enjoy it, not recommended for young kids but my 9 year old did enjoy it.

This is great, if you love Wallace and Grommit, not as funny but an interesting take on life and love, a good easy watch,not recommended for the very young. An excellent made film and you can see why it won awards.

The kids will love it, i actually enjoyed this too, well made movie, heaps of laughs and yes the gadgets are cool, my 9 year old boy was enthralled the whole way through. A great nights entertainment for the whole family.

Another Tin Tin classic, a French made animated film but dubbed in English, voices are different from other Tin Tin films we have watched, but otherwise its a good film to watch if you are a Tin Tin fan.

We didn't watch all of this as it was clearly meant for toddlers and young children, my son 9 got bored immediately. It is well made and animals are very cute so it is ideal for younger children in the family to watch themselves. Reminded me of Max

So nice to see Jackie Chan still in top form with a family edge to it, probably disappoint diehard Jackie Chan fans but I wasn't a big fan in the past but now i am, he is a superb actor. The cast are fantastic, kids are fun, the kids will love this film especially the 'spy' fans in the family. My son loved the spy gadgets and the stunts as most 9 year old boys do. It is a warming,funny and action packed film. a great package of entertainment for the whole family to enjoy together. Loved it!

A must see for Blues Roots fans! If you have never seen Sonny Boy play his harmonica in his unique awesome way watch this - he is the master! Footage is all black and white which adds to the feel, sit back and enjoy. We all had our feet tapping. Music lovers will appreciate the pure sound and superb musicianship, awesome vocals and pure passion. My only complaint is it was too short i was left feeling i wanted more!!

The kids will love this!! It is even better than the other Nanny McPhee films. More laughs, more fun, cute animals and fantastic effects. We all loved it. The cutest animals you've ever seen add the 'aww' factor and they steal the show. Great cast, good to see Rhys Ifans again in a pefect role, and of course Emma Thompson is excellent. You will want to see this more than twice especially the kids. They may even learn a thing or two! My son behaved himself for a whole day afterwards and even folded his clothes!! A must see film all the family will enjoy (even Dad)!

Though this movie was not what i expected, its actually a documentary and was very enjoyable. It will make you laugh and cry, I wouldn't class it as a comedy as stated on the cover as its too moving for that though there are many laughs. It will make you appreciate old people and make you feel like you should make the best of your life before you get old! It also will leave you with more respect for our elders and that its never too late to learn and do things out of your normal scope. The music director is 'hot' his passion and determination is fantastic too!. My 9 year old didn't want to watch it and in the end he loved it. It will make your kids appreciate their aging grandparents (or even parents) so much more. Everyone should see this film, but its especially great for those who love true docos about human nature, the music is great too. It rocks! This film will surprise you and leave you with a song in your head and a smile on your face with maybe a little tear on the side too.

A great movie for those 'true story' lovers, how interesting to find out what really happened to the one hit wonder of the 'Singing Nun'. Made in French which is a little annoying to read the subtitles once again, but it does make it more genuine as surprisingly she was French (I didn't know that), and without giving too much away its sadder than i expected, quite moving, and the music is great especially the Jazz version at the end of the film. Great acting in this and the 'wonder hit' will remind you how big it really was at the time and it will stay in your head for days! Worth a watch if you love storys about real people and changing 1960s times. Not for kids, though teenagers may learn something.

Classic Tin Tin, a must see for avid Tin Tin fans, at first its disappointing that you have to read the subtitles as it was made in French, but my son and i still enjoyed seeing Tin Tin come alive in film, the actors were excellent choices for the characters from the books, even Snowy the dog was perfect a great little dog who did all his stunts perfect! The film was made in the 1960s so expect no digital enhancing. I loved the scenery no Hollywood props here right in the heart of the countries they were in, and seeing Athens in the 1960s was a bonus. You may or may not be disappointed with this film, I wasn't as i don't mind old films. I think they do the actors and producers a lot of credit for making films the way they did in those days. Its more fun and laughs than real drama and danger, so all the family including the little kids can watch it easily, only a few fighting scenes which are quite funny really, no blood and guts here!

Worth a watch, just to view why this film was special for its time, made in the 1960s be aware its not fast paced, and without effects. I thought it was interesting to see the difference of films made now to then and the views of USA in the 1960s. The dog was a great actor did his stunts amazingly for a small dog, overall the movie is enjoyable enough, not for really little kids though.

Nice to see Bindi Irwin in her first feature film,she was great but still i look forward to when she has more experience. I enjoyed the film so did my 9 year old but it was a tad disppointing as there was no connection to previous 'Free Willy' films and a little slower with less drama. Mums will be slightly disappointed with the aging looks of Beau Bridges though his acting is still great. The props and scenery were superb, nice to see a film made in South Africa and the South Africa actors were a surprise, especially the youngest who stole the show! Don't forget to look out for little Robert Irwin who makes a small contribution. Overall its still worth a watch but don't expect anything like the previous 'Free Willy' films, just enjoy it for what it is, a nice family movie, the littlest kids can enjoy too.

Yes, it would be much better on a big screen with 3D but still a great watch, a real insight into bug life. Excellent for the kids to watch, my nine year old thought it was really cool! I even learnt a few things myself and thought some of it was truly amazing. A little too short (40 mins) is my only real complaint.

This was a fantastic film, a great insight into where John Lennon got a lot of musical inspiration from and his rebellious nature. At times i forgot who the movie was about it was so good and great filming,great actors. Not just for John Lennon fans this one is great for the family with older kids -( not young kids because of sex scene and swearing and a little too much drama for them) .

Great to watch it again in the lead up to seeing Shrek 4 - still get some laughs and notice a few things i missed last time. Kids love it over and over.

Fantastic movie, a superb foreign film, have to read the english subtitles but it does make the movie more genuine when in the right language. For people who appreciate music,family,success against the odds, and love. Leaves you with more appreciation of your own life and that we can all succeed if the passion is there. Great film making and you have to love those Brazilians!

Great movie, starts off very funny but towards the end it goes overboard a bit, maybe some people won't think so but i thought it was going to be heaps better, my son aged 9 even thought so too, otherwise it was a fun family movie, definately worth watching still.

Wow!! I am not a big fan but I loved it, was very moved by this film, great to learn more about a genius who was totally misunderstood, sad he didn't get to be more of a mentor as he has been. A great insight into a great entertainer, what a shame it didn't get to be a live show!

Fantastic!! Better than i expected, this movie is so well made and a credit to Australian Film industry. A true story which is not only enjoyable but educational too,if you love true stories of triumph over adversity and struggles. Don't worry there is not too much dancing if thats not your thing. Highly recommended!!

If you don't mind a bit of hunting its a good story about a boy and his love for his dog and country life(in USA).

This started off okay but just couldn't finish watching it - too much tribal warfare - but if you like this sort of thing.......

Definately a young boys movie, I didn't like it but my 9 year old said it was the best! Great entertainment to keep the kids still for awhile.

Average film, the dog is cute, storyline lame,quite an old movie, still worth a family watch.
