This is pretty much an exotic, epic, vaguely historic chase movie. But it's done so impressively that one can't help but wonder if Mel Gibson is leaving himself anywhere to go after this. If you can appreciate the intricate details of costumes and sets that lend to the tale of one man's struggle for himself and his family to survive, it should be no trouble getting lost in this movie. Further appreciation comes from watching the behind the scenes features, just to see the true efforts that Gibson has gone to with the making.

What an incredible journey! They really don't make movies like this any more. Kind of like a Moulin Rouge done with Beatles music, strangely enough this little tale of love in the sixties is successfully told through the clever use of songs. An awesome treat visually and aurally.

Another excellent movie from the fine folk at Working Title, who also did Shaun of the Dead, Bridget Jones' Diary, and Love Actually, to name but a few. There are moments that seem reminiscent of Shaun of the Dead, but maybe that's just small town syndrome! An interesting storyline that's a great twist on the classic whodunit, as well as a fantastic display of why Brits Do It Better, it would be a crying shame not to see this movie!

Fantastic work yet again from the Disney/Pixar combination. There's something in here for young and old, and even though it's animated, the beauty of Paris and posh food are portrayed brilliantly. As usual with Disney/Pixar DVD, there are behind the scenes and additional features to explore for anyone that wants a closer look at the work behind the movie.

A refreshing movie to watch, in an age of titles that are adaptations from books you already know, or comics you've already seen. A unique, yet quite dark, storyline takes you on a trip from reality to fantasy quite cleverly. See this if you want a break from mainstream fairytales and stories you've already heard before.

This quirky tale about a family quest to get to the Little Miss Sunshine concert has a great mixture of tragedy and comedy, with an eventual outcome that probably no one could guess. Even the directors came up with alternative endings!
