i've read all the books and have seen all the films, the books were better, i thought this was the best of the books and the best of the films. great cast in this one.

i like emilio and respect harry dean stanton but this movie is worthless, its got nothing.
i like emelio as much as i like martin, but charlie is the best.
harry dean stanton, i like much more, mainly because of 'paris texas'.
paris texas, now thats a cult movie.
after watching this, i'm gunna order paris texas and watch it again because that movie had 'something special' even though it was very different and a bit slow.
the main thing about 'paris texas' that draws me back (besides harry dean stanton and the lovely natashia kinski) is the background music, its the biggest factor in the film.
forget 'repo man'.

i really enjoyed this movie, dreyfuss and hunter were excellent and so was the rest of the cast.
dreyfuss's character was really 'out there' but i liked him all the way. i wouldnt have said he was abrasive and obnoxious, i would have said he was a bit over the top but charming, very likeable and lots of fun.
great film about family life and being happy, it was funny, sad, moving and very nice.

i saw the other 'grindhouse' movie, death proof and really liked the first half because it had 'something' but it fell away in the second half.
planet terror sounded pretty awful but a lot of people said this was the better show so i eventually gave it a look, and it was pretty awful.
wasnt scarey, suspenceful or even interesting, just blood and guts, nice girls though.

i watched the brittish Life On Mars but didnt like it much at all.
even though i dont really like police dramas i did like the 'back in time' story so i thought i would check out the US version when i stumbled across it.
it didnt sound any better but one of my old favs harvey keitel was in it so i queued it.
luckily i did because i really liked the US version, everything seemed better, i liked all the actors, they go into the 'back in time' a bit more, there are a few more lovely women, it was a bit funny at times and i enjoyed the sound track much more too. harvey keitel really suits his role and puts his class stamp on the show.
am looking forward to more episodes.

westerns are my fav, and this starts out like 'jeramiah johnson' in the mountains but fizzlles out as they get down into the deasert.
i liked it as i watched it, it had the chance of being a classic but it left the winning story behind, in a cabin, and it lacked closure in the end.

i enjoyed the first disc, there were a few things that didnt seem right but overall it was a pretty good drama about what might happen after a nuclear strike, or 2.
the hardest bit to believe was skeet ulrich's character who was saving people all over the place after earlier surviving a head on collision which killed everyone in the other car.
still, i will be watching disc 2.

ufc 21 to 31 were anavailable until recently and they are well worth watching if you are a fan of mixed martial arts. its the early days for some of the champions like chuck liddell, matt hughes, jens pulver and tito ortiz.
also one of the best fighters ever, the undefeated 'frank shamrock' defends his title against tito ortiz, i'm glad i finally got to see that .

one of the best UFCs so far because there are so many of the top fighters involved. Tito Ortiz v Ken Shamrock is a brutal encounter and hard to watch.
heavy hitters Freeman v Andre Orlovski and Chuck Liddell v Sorbral don't dissapoint.
Hughes, Newton, Lawler all fight well credentialed opponents, last and definately not least , undefeated fighters Weir v Miller is a great match too.

its great to see the different styles of fighting tested against each other, you never know what form the fight will take.

Great series. Ian McShane is excellent and the Calamity Jane character is really good too. The original bad guys are now the good guys, I think, or maybe the new guys are so bad they make them look good. I will definately watch the whole series and find out who wins Deadwood.

i wouldn't really call it a western. some parts were very good and some parts and casting were bad, at least they did a few things different. most of the soundtrack was excellent, i liked they way the girl sang scarborough fair at the start (what there was of it). william defoe was the worst part of the film.

Great series, you can't really tell who the good guys are and never know what will happen next. Shows what it was probably like in those days and i enjoy Ian McShane & the Calamity Jane character most but others are very good too.
