The lower your expectations are, the more pleasantly surprised you may find yourself. Unfortunately I envisaged that this movie would be great... my mistake. Even Seth Rogen's laugh gets on my nerves. I can't tell the difference between the final cut of the movie and the outtakes reel because it all seems to be off-the-cuff awkward and forced humour. Definitely for pot-heads only.

Good movie for kids. Sends the right message to young people. Has its moments for adult audiences but falls short of laugh out loud funny. Give it a try, but not for everyone

I laughed out loud at the preposterous stunts; clich? platitudes; and insanely wooden acting. I scoffed every time the main character delivered a line. And I wondered to myself, what boyhood dream cooked up this blatant rip-off of: Matrix special effects, American Psycho detachment, Fight Club loner mentality and hyper masculinity. None of it works! It?s as if a group of ten year olds were given free range to produce a film with unlimited budget. MIND BOGGLING!

Outstandingly retro - Are there any characters she didn't sleep with in this movie?

Not worth the postage it cost to send it to me.

Much better than you would expect from a 'Western' some really experimental montages and film techniques. Worthy of its critical acclaim.

Classic 80s hair dos and a remake with a release date of 2010 on the cards. What a great B-Classic

Having studied the book quite a number of times with my students I'm disappointed by the fact that most subtleties in the novel are overlooked in this film adaptation.

You can't watch it without getting the feeling that you've seen many incarnations over the years. It strikes me as an essential part of a classic cinema education.

Pitiful attempt at emulating Japanese horror flicks like "Ring". Don't bother.

Fantastic old comedy. Still holds its own after all these years.

Too juvenile for the intended audience. Best viewed by 8-10 year olds.
