An excellent film, which steers well away from vapid sentimentality. Ellen Burstyn's performance is a tour de force. Not to be missed!

I really liked this film. Edward Norton is brilliant, as usual, & his character is easy to emphathise with. The music is well done too, which makes for a nice change :-)

Much better than Bruckheimer's usual padded-out stuff - tightly edited, good acting, good storylines.

Amusing series about a slick con man - Clive Owen overacts a little, but it's still pretty good.

Great stuff - fast-paced, good story lines. Recommended!

6/10. The fact that the courtroom scenes are taken from the actual transcripts makes it a little more interesting. Overall an OK, but not brilliant, film.

A rather unsatisfying film, overall. The abrupt ending didn't help either.

Great cast - the two old stagers, Pacino & De Niro, are wonderful. Plenty of action to keep you amused.

Sorry to say, I found it boring & just couldn't get into it. I only lasted 15 minutes.

Good, fast paced thriller - Wesley Snipes is great, as always.

I normally wouldn't like films about middle-class angst, but Lantana does it well. It glides along at a smooth pace, with just enough happening to keep us interested. The cast are great.

Quite a good film - Edward Norton in particular is brilliant & there's a great twist at the end.

Pretty standard thriller, with no real thrills! Sean Connery was a little flat & uninteresting

An excellent study of a cornered, self-deluding Hitler at the end of his life. Bruno Ganz is, as always, brilliant.

Excellent thriller, with Harry Connick Jr a standout as a deranged serial killer. The tension is maintained right to the end.

Pretty good film, which keeps moving along at a nice pace. Great to see James Gandolfini playing a mobster too!

Despite being made in the 80s, still pretty good. Keeps you guessing right up to the end.

Made in the 80s, so a little dated, but pretty good all the same.

Basically two episodes of Law & Order - both good.

Only mildly amusing - 6/10.

Didn't get to the end - too much laboured, gratuitous tough-guy stuff. Every second word seemed to begin with 'f'.

TV-grade movie which is really only mildly interesting.

Nice little TV-standard movie.

The series is a little hard to get into at first, but picks up as it goes on. OK but not brilliant.

Excellent film, with both James Caan & Kathy Bates doing a brilliant job. Maintains its suspense until the end.
