I guess we don't watch Arnie for his dialogue anyway do we? Worth a watch.

Jet, what have you done! Why oh why do all the good ones have to go Hollywood. See Jet at his best in his Chinese flicks. Some truly memorable moments in those. In this one, best avoid. Typical Hollywood hype with lots of lame acting by the yanks and an even worse script. I hope the money you earned Jet, makes it worth while for you, because there sure ain't nothing else in it.

Just plain awful! Typical pain in the you know where teenage actors. Tried to last all the way through. Couldn't do it. If they did it as an animation, the script might actually work. As it is, give it a HUGE miss!

What a pity they didn't spend more money on the script and actors than the sfx. I think it must have been a retirement movie for old actors. Just another predictable disaster movie. Take out all the soppy, "farewell I'm going to die" scenes; plus all the scenes it took for the divorced family to get back together again; plus all the "close calls" that became rediculous after about the fiftyth and you'd have 15 minutes of good movie. It manages to scrape in with one star because of the sfx. Avoid.

This has to be said, but it's not as good as the orginal. But overall it's not too bad. Apart from Crowe's accent coming and going and finally (thankfully) going. Not convinced that Crowe did the role of Ben Wade as well as Ford. Ford just seemed to be much slicker and world knowledgeable with this underlying feeling of heartless evil, yet with the ability to switch on the charm and make you like him. I never liked the ending to the orginal. It should have ended after they got on the train. With Evans waving to his wife from the box car as it sped along made it very corny and rather a dissapointing note to finish on. I had hoped the new version would be better. No such luck. What an awful ending. Having everyone killed bar Wade is such a joke. Especially when he killed most of his own men. VERY dissapointed. Even Evans got killed which never happened in the original. Then the modern version tried to make Wade out to be some hard done by killer who turned himself in. You've got to be kidding!!!!! Give me the original end anyday. In fact, give me the original anyday over this one.

As someone who hasn't read the poem, I found the movie to be quite good. Animation was good, especially how they modeled the character's faces to the people doing the voices. Worth a watch.

A great space flick. Don't expect aliens exploding in a barage of laser fire, but someone who likes suspense and originality in their scripts as well as good acting to back it up, then this is a must.

What a hoot! A great throw off of English and American cop shows. Some very funny moments.

An english comedy TV series, need I say more! Very funny. Some side splitting moments, not to mention the odd cringe factor moment simply because of the situations some of the characters put themselves in.

Not one of the better episodes, bit boring in parts. Jar Jar Binks is also just too annoying. Should make a director's cut where 99% of his scenes are cut out, then it might actually be worth watching.

Great movie. Plot is rather different. If you like black humour then this has some classic spots scattered amongst a rather horror/suspenseful script.

Finally an animated movie with something resembling an original script. Very funny in parts. Entertaining right to the end. Great graphics.

What is this, a competition to see how many swear words you can fit in a sentence? Excessive use of bad language usually means the writers are trying to spice up an otherwise ordinary script. Don't think this one will change my mind on that point!

Same old storyline like so many other animated flicks in recent times... main character is a bit of a tear away, something bad happens, usual moral interlude, main character does something brave and becomes the hero and they live happily ever after. Parts of the movie however are quite funny. What's the go with having MALE cows?!!! Male cows with udders and yet they still have a bull in it?? What is all that about??? Weird. Not to mention the graphics being a bit of a dissapointment. They seem to have taken a step or two backwards in this department.

Very good. Always helps production quality when it is performed inside. Some great acts. Costumes and makeup are wonderful. Certainly good entertainment.

Plenty of singing and dancing, but takes a while to get into the circus acts. There are a couple of really goods ones and a few pretty ordinary ones. Worth a watch but there are plenty of better Cirque DVD's out there.

A merging of the real world with fantasy. The storyline reaches into an amazing fantasy world, then plunges into a reality of violence and hate. Each world influencing the other in a wonderful tangle of themes and characters. A bit graphic in parts, but not out of character with the plot.

Ancient history finally made interesting! Always amusing in this type of film to hear the accents of the actors compared to who they are portraying. Why did they pick David Wenham to do so much talking? Not really a voice to suit the circumstances. The FX are really well done. Has a touch of Gladiator in the filming style. Interesting to see the Spartans fighting style.

A great movie. Thought it might have been a bit boring, but was far from it. Good acting and a good script always makes for a very watchable movie. It was fascinating seeing how Barrie formed the characters in Peter Pan. But ladies, get the tissues out for the ending.

Another in the line of Labyrinth and Legend. Some amazing puppet creations. Some of the sets are great and others really do look like they were made on a pretty thin budget. No surprises with the storyline, but if you like the other movies above, then you should like this one.

Storyline gets a bit confused at times and it is infected by some pretty ordinary acting from some of the characters. Still, if something like Labyrinth is to your liking, then you should like this one. Watch it as well if you want to see Tom Cruise when he was 23! Looks more like 16.

The script is a bit inconsistent at times and David Bowie doesn't exactly set the screen on fire. I could see where it would be a good one for the kids though. There are some amazing looking sets and some equally amazing puppet characters.

A powerful movie. One that actually depicts a strong Christian character and keeps him that way right to the end. Great acting by Woodward of course. Has an intersting twist at the end.

Great effects. Just love watching them transform. Make sure you turn up the bass to max to get the best out of all those explosions. A real wall rocker.

A very good movie that tries to get away from the normal run of the mill storylines. Interesting how Gibson incorporates some of the historal aspects into it. There are a few moments that seem a little contrived, but overall very good.

A terrific storyline that keeps you guessing about some of the characters right till the end. Very imaginitive. Has some incredible creatures.

Some really, really, funny moments. Lost count of how many times I have watched it. One of the best National Lampoon's movies.

What a great DVD. Terrific animation. The storyline is also great. Has it all. Action, humor, love and some great characters whose real stories are just kept out of reach until right at the end. The decision is simple: watch it!
(Not to be missed!) - review by Allan
If you like the series then this of course is a must watch. After watching the series then watching this film again, it still stands the test of time pretty well.

Wow. A great sequel. Not as full on as the first one though. Characters don't continue on from the first. Storyline is still spine chilling. Camera work is again excellent.

Well done storyline, filling you in on how Batman evolved. Good how it ties some of the other movie's details into the plot. Good acting and great effects. Gotta get me one of them batmobiles!

Plenty of action and a good storyline. Just remember it is 'R' rated for a reason.

The plot is perhaps a bit confusing. Not as good as I thought it might be. If you like Yoju Toshi, then it's at least worth a watch.

Some really great acts. A couple though that seemed to go on for too long. If you love the other Cirque Du Soleil shows, then I doubt this one will dissapoint to any real degree. Watch the extras disk as well, as there is some pretty interesting stuff on it.
(Excellent) - review by Allan
Quite good camera work. Nothing really out of the box though. Not really having a commentary is certainly different. Gets a bit samey in parts though.

I had high hopes for this movie, but it seems to fall a little flat. Perhaps it centres too much on Homer and his ordinary fathering techniques. He mostly ended up just being annoying, which is a shame. His spider pig though was a bit of a chuckle.

Not as good as the other two. The ending seems a bit of an anti-climax and a bit soppy. You have to see it of course if you've seen the first two.

Terrible, terrible, terrible. Bad acting under pinned by a horrendous script. Would have to rate in the top 3 of the century’s worst sequels. A classic example of why most movies should stop with the first one. The only way this one would make money at the box office was on the back of the first movie's watchability. That all American war hero gone bad theme is at its nauseating prime here. Not to mention the stomach churning mucho sergeant character. At least in the first one, these themes were done humorously. Scarily, this one seems to take them seriously. The script writers got totally lost in this movie, not knowing whether to make it sci-fi, horror or humour. Fact is, none of them work. Even the gore isn’t done in that tongue-in-cheek fashion that the first one managed to capture so well. It just turns out to be a tawdry, blatantly overdone effort, inserted to make sure the film’s budget was spent on at least something. The only high point was that the bug effects are still very good. Avoid at all costs!!

Some interesting insights into coffee around the world. Quite funny in parts. Love the scene about the worst espresso tasted in France! Even some useful tips to improve your own shots.
